So typically I’ve always avoided Nivea because it’s so thick and somewhat greasy. It didn’t necessarily break out my skin, but my skin is a crazy combo of oily, yet dry, zits and redness. Slathering on this stuff after cleansing wasn’t great.BUT, if you use it as a cold cream? OMG it’s amazing and has honestly changed my skin. So typically due to acne, I use strong soaps with salicylic acid in them. They help, but are tough on my skin. And exfoliating typically rips my skin to shreds. My Mum was complaining about having dry skin, so in my frustration I said “My God woman, just slap some Nivea on your face.” So she did. A MASSIVE layer on her face, like a mask. She left it on for 15 mins then wiped it all off,

Wow, 400ml, not your regular 200ml - and best of all - IT'S IN A TIN!Gone were the days when the big tubs were tins. I really missed the old tins of NIVEA from my childhood, but here they are again, a very welcome change!I've been using the 200ml plastic tubs of nivea for years but it just wasn't the same as using the old tins which hold a lot of nostalgic value for me, not to mention being useful due to being reusable and looking cute to boot!NIVEA Creme is a staple product for me. I actually used to use it in my hair during my teens - just a little dollop in the ends of my hair after washing. Left my waves smooth and shiny,

I have been happily using this product for decades now. First recommended to me back then by our hospital C of E Minister when I was nursing. Before becoming a chaplain he was a chemist and he and his wife used it all the time. It feels 'greasy' to the touch but you can always use just a little and blend it into the skin. Even my adult son buys it now, having used mine for years when his lips or some other skin area was sore. It works beautifully. When my eyes are sore, especially at night I use my ring finger to smooth Nivea generously over eyes and then my whole face. Lovely soft and refreshed skin in the morning.

I had heard good things about this moisturiser so I decided to give it a go and I’m so glad that I did. I suffer from dry skin and eczema, and until recently I had been using the Nivea Men Cream (150ml tins). But this 400ml tin offers better value for money. Maybe the fragrance is not quite as good as the Nivea Men, but just a little application on the skin goes a long way. The texture feels thicker and richer, and it keeps my skin hydrated for longer than the Nivea Men. ‘Made in Hamburg’ on the tin, so it looks like it’s the original style Nivea cream of old. Will be buying this version from now on ?????

Absolute nostalgia to when I was little and smelled it on my mother.I have combination and sensitive skin, I experiment with fave creams quite a bit and Nivea has beaten them all hands down! My skin is dewy and smooth, so soft as well, because it is quite rich I do suggest to use it before bed if you have combination or oily skin as it leaves quite a shine, however under make up it's fine. I use it afte cleansing+ toning+ serum and it's absolutely amazing. The great thing about it is that you can use it anywhere on your skin, I also apply it on my feet.

For many years I've bought these Nivea tubs but in smaller 200g sizes so I was very happy to find them available in a bigger 400g size on Amazon which was more cost efficient. This moisturiser is pretty thick but doesn't feel greasy once rubbed into my skin and it keeps my dry/eczema skin moisturised for hours after showering/washing my face. I've tried the slightly lighter Nivea Soft cream which smells nicer but isn't as thick as the Nivea Creme, so I'll always use this one over the Soft!

this is a great moisturiser for the whole body.i brought it specifically for dry skin on my face.it is thick and heavy, so it needs to soak in.i found after using it at night, make up glides on easily in the morning, instead of it being so dry.if you did use it on your face in the morning, i would use it sparingly, as it can look a little greasy.i do think it is better suited to dry skin, rather than oily skin.Great Tin :)

Nivea cream is one of my favourite creams the formula is so rich and moisturising it leaves my skin feeling soft and it's kind enough to use on ur face which is a bonus for me cause i don't like using anything to harsh on my face. My mum loved it so much I had to order one for her too and for the price you can't go wrong I got it at a great deal for £3 fast shipping and great delivery

I work as a carer and due covid 19 I'm washing my hands 1000 times per day working for high risk client. My skin was burned from antibacterial hand wash, cracking and it was so painful despite using various other hand creams all the times. Since ordered nivea, my skin healed and it doesn't even dry so quickly. I can't thank you enough for such amazing product really..

Amazing thick cream with a lovely scent and very moisturising. My skin has become quite dry lately and I needed something thick and moisturising. I wanted to be able to feel the cream on my skin and going in. This cream does exactly that. I will update this comment later on on how effective it is. The jar is big. I have chubby hand and you can see the size?

Perfect for keeping ants in any container. Works for both research and classroom purposes just as well. A thin line of this stuff at the top of the tub, and they will not escape. Stays effective for days, and easy to reapply. The little buggers really hate this stuff and don't try to walk over it. One minus for slightly annoying wash up afterwards.

Good value for money and I like the vintage look of the tin. A bit too thick for my personal preference (I normally use Astral or Nivea Soft as night moisturisers as I find these sink into my skin better) but I use this as a mask when my face feels dry; I remove with a warm, damp flannel after 10 minutes and my skin feels really soft.

I bought the 400ml tin (not the "large 400ml" - not sure what the deal is with that item and the price difference). It's perfect!Amazing texture, smells lovely and really helps with my dry hands, especially as I've been washing them much more often than usually lately.Will 100% buy again.

This product has been on the go for about a 100 years. You can get it in handbag size to 400ml. My gran used it every day. She was very youthful, had wonderful skin and was known as a very " handsome woman". I too have used this product and although 66 look much younger with very good skin.

I love Nivea creme. It's thick and moisturising and has a lovely, very light scent.I've been using it my whole life and have never felt the need to change products.The 400ml size is great value and comes as a metal tin which can be used for keepsakes once the Nivea is all used up!
