I used to own a generic carabiner that I bought from Wal-Mart. I got this item for $0.50 as an Amazon add-on item and it's SO much better. The S-design makes it easy to remove my keyring without detaching it from my belt loops. It also serves as a bottle opener, which I have yet to test but it is definitely sturdy enough.I'm really big about Everyday Carry. My old carabiner would get caught on the stitching of my belt loops and damage my pants. This is made a smooth and sturdy metal that allows it to seamlessly slide in and out of my belt loops. The spring is quite strong and secures my everyday carry keyring.I like how the "S" design has been incorporated into this as I can clip it on anyway I want. There's no correct way to clip it on to your pants. It really does have this ambidextrous feel.I really recommend this product if you haven't really thought much of how you carry your keys. I always use to get by with your cheap, last-minute items while waiting in line at those big box stores, but I can see this product lasting me a very long time.I recommend this product. If I was able to help you make your decision, let me know by saying it was Helpful!

The Nite Ize brand is a known name in bush craft and EDC adventurists.I got this for my son who is loving his EDC at the moment - item was well packaged. Its a good solid double clip - allows items to be clipped onto one end whilst the other can be clipped onto the belt, molle attachment, bags etc etc. He uses it for his house keys, a small UK legal Gerber Pocket Tool, LED Mag lite Torch and I got him as well a True Utility Cash Stash with £10 inside for emergencies. It also opens bottles!!!You wouldn't be upset having purchased this, the size is adequate I think for an EDC key-chain / clip, and it also provides quick access to the things hanging from it - if he needs the multi tool he cansimply and easily unclip it from the bottom clip without having to remove it from his belt loop.Only thing I would say is look around on line as someone mentioned to me it has been seen cheaper elsewhere - now this may also be for a smaller issue so just check first.Dimensions of this one - width - 4.5cm (45mm - 1&3/4 inch), Length - 8cm (80mm - 3&1/4inch)Seems very secure and a brand name is also a positive. Recommended.

HelloI was fed up with carrying too many keys around. Tried a belt loop key clip, but the spring wore out in just a couple of weeks and was very lucky that my keys made a sound on a hard floor when a slight nudge was all that it took to accidentally release my keys. So, was looking at a double/S caribiner.I hook one side on a belt loop, keys on the other half and slot the keys+caribiner in the (usually) useless jeans change pocket.Works very well. If it was a teeny bit smaller then it might stay in the change pocket all of the time - doesn't pop out often enough to annoy me, yet.The quality could be better - the spring clip is just about strong enough to be secure, but might get loose over time.Mine has only opened one bottle of beer - I lent mine to a bar person and she said that it was a very good bottle opener.

I always like to keep some sort of carabiner or hook on my keys for the convenience of being able to hang them off a belt loop or bag. I also like to keep a bottle opener on me because I will undoubtedly need one at some point. This excels at both. The carabiner clips are secure, have a good amount of resistance and I never once felt worried about losing my keys. The metal used feels strong, and while the paint will chip away over time (which I personally like), the metal has never bent or broken. The bottle opener also worked perfectly, and fits well over every standard bottle I've ever opened with it. I used this as my main keychain clip for a couple of years and was very happy with it.It's a great size for a clip, not overly bulky but also large enough that using it is very simple.

I'm quite happy with this, but be warned it's not really meant for heavy weights like a climbing carabiner. I never thought it was but some reviews leave the impression that people thought it would be.It's overall length is 8cm and the widest point it 4.5cm. Some may think that's a little large for a key fob, but I'm happy with that size and use it as a key ring and, of course, a bottle opener. You can get smaller bottle openers but I have found that they often make it harder work than it needs to be. This never fails to remove the bottle cap with a quick easy flip.

I brought two of these one for me and another for a friend because we never seem to have a bottle opener, that and i always loose my keys but wait there is hope. This clever little device encompasses both a handy bottle opener and a key storage device so you can hang them on your trousers like the bad man you are.My only snag would be that some bottles caps are difficult to get a grip on and you may waste some of your sacred beverage all over your lap, but a sturdy hand and some refined hand eye co-ordination and you'll be fine.

Such a super handy tool at an incredible price (only 50 cents when I purchased it). This stainless steel carabiner doubles as a bottle opener--the perfect multitasker for your next hiking or camping trip. We've attached ours to a backpack so it will always be handy. It is made of fairly thick steel, and the springs on the openings bounce back quickly. Do note, however, that this is not meant for climbing or holding significant amounts of weight.

This Nite Ize carabiner bottle opener is very solid and has not failed me yet. I decided upon the silver one as anything anodized on a keychain usually wears out on me over time. The springs are reliable and are not showing any signs of wear thus far. It is an extremely handy product for the obvious reasons and has not deformed after a number of uses to open many drinks.

Cool little carabiner. Looks nice and is functional as a bottle opener and general carabiner.BUT - because it is designed primarily as a bottle opener, none of my keys will fit directly on it - each key needs to be attached to a ring to fit. There are much better products out there for use as a key ring (including KRB-03-11 S-Biner which includes a bottle opener).

This is a great gadget that I bought my daughter who is off backpacking. I was looking for a bottle opener (very useful for travelling I'm told) but think that this is even better. It is small and light which is important, she can clip things onto it and it seems nice and sturdy. I imagine that it would also be excellent for a camping holiday - cold beer anyone?

For fifty cents these things can't be beat. The double clip design makes it very easy to remove the clip from whatever you've connected to or remove the items you have on it. I would have grabbed a lot more than the max 3 I was allowed. I have a bunch of different bags that I use regularly and find them handy enough to have one in each of my bags.

This ever-so-handy gadget is the first keychain that has never once fallen off my hip, unlike many so-called carabiners. The spring is robust without being stubborn, and the provision of TWO beer bottle openers is genius. Apparently, you can also open pop bottles with it too.Strong and lightweight at 35 grams.

Bought a couple of these for my sons who tell me that they are quote "an indispensable carabiner for every student!" In other words its really handy having a decent bottle cap opener for their beers. Really well constructed it feel solid and seems to have withstood the abuse it is given.

Probably the best of the Nite Ize Carabiner's. Not only does it seem stronger and more secure than their regular 'S-Biners' but it has the added bonus of being a quality bottle opener. Who can argue with that, especially as it weighs in at roughly the same price?

30.8.2019

It seems like a good quality clip but it's a bit big to go through any of my keys, meaning I still need a keyring. Therefore it's a bit useless for the purpose I bought. However it is super handy to have clipped to my bag so still of use.
