Nioxin 3 Part Trial Kit System 2 is an ideal solution for those how have not chemically treated their hair yet find the condition and texture of hair are losing its thickness. lustre or healthy look and feel.First thing I love about this range of hair products is the fragrance and how it makes my scalp feel, as once applied especially when I applied the hair conditioner part of the treatment as my scalp tingled and it was a nice tingle along with the menthol which I found to be so clearing of my sinuses.After washing my hair, my hair was squeaky clean, with the added advantage the shampoo was very rich therefore a little goes a long way.The serum is a nice smooth product which was very easy

The Nioxin 3 Part Trial Kit System 2 comprises three bottles of product: 150ml each of shampoo and of conditioner and 40ml of serum. The bottles have differently coloured tops so it's easy to see which is which. There is a scanty instruction leaflet.The shampoo smells nice, probably tea-tree oil, and feels slightly astringent on the scalp. I have a patch of eczema on the back of my neck at the hairline which stung a bit but I didn't think tea-tree oil would do any harm. The shampoo otherwise felt quite ordinary. It didn't lather much, which I prefer. The conditioner was a bit messy to apply and I found it took a lot of rinsing out. The serum was hard to get on just the scalp because I'm not bald (yet)

I've used this with just the shampoo and conditioner, and got very good results that I was very happy with. I would advise against using the foaming scalp treatment though.I've used previous scalp treatments that were liquid and fairly easy to apply to the scalp, but this was a foam, and it was near impossible not to get it all over my thinnish, very fine chin-length hair.There was a small section of my hair that didn't get a dose of foam, and this felt fine, as did my hair when I washed it with the shampoo and conditioner on its own.With the foam, my hair was like straw, it felt awful. It didn't look too horrendous, it was thicker, but that was scant compensation. I applied another leave in conditioner,

My hair has been thinning a bit as I get older so I was interested to try the Nioxin system. It's three steps - shampoo, conditioner and a hair/scalp 'treatment' - that don't claim to make hair regrow but say that they will improve the condition of your hair and scalp to make hair look fuller and not thin as much in future. This review is for number 2, for natural hair with progressed thinning. I could definitely smell the menthol in the products, but it wasn't unpleasant. It even made my scalp tingle! I haven't been using this for 30 days but I did notice that my hair looked good and felt more full in the week or so I have used the three products. It does make the washing process far more time-intensive!

This is a pleasant system that has a lovely fresh menthol scent, feels lovely and light in the hair and provides a lot of lather, so you don't have to use a lot of product per wash (which is good because the bottles are only small).It does leave the hair feeling fuller and healthy and the scent lingers for quite a while after. It's an easy system with a shampoo, a conditioner and a leave-in product.There is a bit of tingling on the scalp, but nothing uncomfortable and nothing that is noticeable.I am not sure whether it's worth the high price, but it is a great product and it does seem to leave the hair fuller.

This kit no.2 is intended for people who haven't coloured or chemicaly treated their hair. My other half has hair that is thinning and he decided to give it a go. It does have a tea-tree and menthol kick and that makes the scalp tingle or feel cool. I guess that helps to stimulate re-growth of hair. The shampoo smells very pleasant and lathers well and the conditioner is rich. The scalp treatment is like a serum. My chap said he thinks it has made his scalp and hair feel healthier and he has it used it over a three week period so far. I think that he would like to continue with it and may well buy some more.

This is similar to System 1. It has a lovely peppermint aroma and while the shampoo seems to clean very well (leaving the hair literally squeaky!), the conditioner is not enough for my hair. My hair feels dry and lacks lustre so I end up using another coconut oil serum afterwards but the volume of my hair is increased and looks fuller.Not sure if it prevents hair loss at all I guess only this could be noticeable after several months of use.

Doesn’t stop my hair from falling out completely but it does slow it down not as much is falling out these days since I started using this bio in shampoo and conditioner. I have alopecia and with this comes very itchy scalp and when I started using this shampoo it calmed the itch down. It has a ma tool scent which I’m assuming is what calms the itch. All in all I have bought more and will continue buying it.

My husband used this trial kit until it ran out and feels that it was effective in making his hair look and feel thicker. He found the scent 'not really noticeable'. For me the price is reasonable and worth it given the results. We have since bought the shampoo and conditioner again. I don't feel qualified to comment on the science behind the product, but can say that we both felt that this brand works.

Fantastic shampoo. Not only does it leave hair soft and incredibly shiny, but it really does make hair look and feel thicker. I have very fine hair which can look quite wispy, especially around my fringe. This has given noticeable body and volume to my fine hair, and even my fringe looks thicker and has a bit of 'sweep' to it, which it never used to. Very effective and genuinely boosts hair volume.

I am using this product over week now no diffrence at all I am losing my hair since last 2 years that's why I bought this product but 8 am not getting any help yet.as I will keep using this product for few month as I want to try results. I know that I csnt get results in 10-15 days . Price is bit high it if its around £15 than its okey. Overall not really happy yet.

I love nioxin! It's very good for those who has thin hair (even thin looking) my hair is noticable thin and made me sad. After using nioxin for a few time it doesn't get fuller immediately but!!! I gives me a fuller looking and feeling. Really good! After a month i feel that I have lots of baby hair growing. Yeah i will definitely recommend this product !!!! Love x

As someone who once had thick long hair this is the only product so far that I has helped not only for my hair to look and feel a lot healthy but to give me that confidence I lost when it fell it. ( I also apply a 50/50 mix of caster oil and coconut oil a few hours before washing my hair)And yes my hair stopped falling out within 2 weeks of using the product.

My husband uses this and really likes it, both the smell and the outcome. He says it helps to keep his hair thick looking and he does have a full head of hair still... But as they say, it took a few weeks to see any noticeable effects. I think it helps keep his grey hairs in check! Dropped a star because it's very expensive. To us, at least,

A month on...hair on comb after combing has been reduced by at least 30%. Hair feels a bit stringy so may try the diaboost or conditioner too. Have tried art natural Argan and Propoline over a period of at least a year, nioxin is the only one that has obviously delivered in less than a month. Not happy that it has paraben though- one star.
