Amazing product - quality is very high with it featuring vibrations, motion control and a functioning controller for the game.In Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu/Eevee it works a fully functioning controller - B is the button on the top, A is the button on the front and Y is activated by shaking, brilliantly thought through and is easy to use! When playing the game there are sections where battling is promenant (in which I simply use the switch in handheld mode) and then catching sections as such in which I put it down using the stand and soley play with the ball.Pokemon Go for a mobile phone - So this is also usable in the mobile game and allows users to put Pokemon from Lets Go in the ball who automatically spin Pokestops whilst out and about with the game open on your iPhone/Android.Amazing!! As well as this you can catch Pokemon by pressing the top button on the pokeball and it will either flash rainbow colours meaning it’s caught or red pulses if it didn’t.One thing I found last night was the integration of transferring Pokemon from Go (mobile) to Lets Go (Switch). So I first thought you could only vie them in the safari park etc however it also lets you then catch them in the park so that they are usable in Lets Go (Switch)! This is an incredible feature and means Pokemon that are a little trickier to find could be transferred over from your mobile game.Overall very happy even with the £45 price tag bearing in mind this does work as a physical controller and the technology involved.Definitely recommend for anyone wanting to enhance their Lets Go experience or anyone wanting a Pokemon Go Plus but refusing to pay the over inflated price of £60 on eBay etc for a genuine one as they are sold out!

I'll start off by saying that this is tiny! I have quite large hands and they completely envelope this tiny ball. The build quality feels great though, very solid, the button/Thumb stick is small however if you position your thumb correctly then clicking it in is no issue at all. There is another hidden button that sits under your first finger and is also surprisingly easy (for me) to click, the third button input (Y) is mapped to a shake of the ball. There is also a light behind the thumb stick which I have seen both white and green so far but maybe there are other colours that it could light up as. There is a speaker in there as well so that when you capture a Pokémon you get an audio prompt and this is also different for which Pokémon it is you've caught. There is also HD rumble incorperated into the ball.Connecting this to the Switch and the Smart Phone app, Pokémon Go, is fairly simple. When connected to the phone app and the app is running then Poké Stops will automatically spin when you pass them. For the Switch game it can be used to play all elements of the game in a very relaxed manner although so far I am only partly into the game and maybe the novelty of this will wear off soon.I would probably recommend this item more for the hard core Pokémon collectors and not so much for the casual player and if you are getting this and the Switch game the bundle is actually a bit cheaper. I personally bought the bundle with Eevee.

Did you play pokemon when you were a kid?Did you ever wish pokemon was real? Then why are you still reading my review?? Go buy this! You literally are buying a 'no frills' version of a pokeball for use with the Let's Go games. Some key points to note:+ lovely soft finish on the pokeball and decent weight to it makes it feel like a good quality product+ the throw mechanism seems pretty well mapped to figure out how far you are throwing it and if you are throwing in a straight line or not+ controls are very intuitive. Once you use this, it's very difficult to want to go back to using a switch controller+ comes with mew! A little bit annoying the t you have to pay for mew so I see it just as a free bonus+ when you put it on charge,it makes the pokemon centre sound+ you can have a pokemon take a stroll with you to get it some free xp and lots of candies+ adds immersion to the game. It's quite fun throwing the ball and then picking it up and literally watching to see if you were successful. I mean, you did buy pokemon to catch 'em all, right?- the throw mechanism is dependent on your pokeball being the 'right way up', ie red on top. This means if you hold your ball at an angle and throw straight then it still throws at an angle. Not a deal breaker at all but something worth considering.- despite all above, I acknowledge that it's pricier than it should be (typical price skimming technique!) but I don't regret my decision

Lots of benefits to this device. Free Mew! (NOTE: you can’t soft reset for desired nature, what you get is what your stuck with) looks great, very well made. Nice weight to it - a bit on the small side though.. I’ve never had a Bluetooth device that syncs so effortlessly! Works on point with the let’s go games! Best feature is when you catch a Pokémon, the illuminating ring around the clasp lights up in the colour of the Pokémon just caught and makes that species cry! Best of all, if you're a shiny hunter, the ring lights up the colour of the shiny, not the non-shiny variant of that species! For example, Voltorb will light up red but if you’re lucky to catch a shiny version, it lights up blue!Nice little touch I think. When catching a Pokémon the ring also pulses red light indicating how close it is to running from you if it breaks free from the ball! No lag (90% of the time) When the battery is running low you can sometimes experience lag or suffer a mistimed/direction of throw. Battery life is a bit limited and seems to require charging after each day (if like me you sink a lot of hours in the game). Rather pricey for what is essentially an add-on but certainly makes the new capture mechanic more enjoyable and engaging in my opinion. All in all - recommend buying it, however you don’t need it to play.

The Pokéball Plus was a really interesting and fun addition to Let's Go.It's heavy and has a rubber finish and fits naturally in your hand when you play; the only problem being is that when you push the joystick down it often slide in another direction, selecting something you don't want. The controller is responsive when throwing Pokéballs (more so than joycons) and is far more accurate. Its also great to be able to put your Pokémon in and walk around as I used to do with HG/SS. However, before I had left Pallet Town my Eevee was level 37 so be careful if you don't want to be OP!For what it is, the price is acceptable considering to buy a pair of bog-standard joycons sets you back £50; this is so much more.As for the rest of the features,it functions as a Pokémon Go Plus and if you have a Pokémon from Let's Go Eevee/Pikachu in it, it automatically spins Pokéstops and catches all Pokémon for you. It disconnects every 2 hrs or so, so ensure you reconnect.Overall, cool item for any Pokémon fan

Works with the Switch as a controller for Pokemon Let's Go editions, and comes with Mew inside who you can add to the game for a good addition to your starting line-up. You can add pokemon to the poke ball to take them out IRL - basically if you walk round with the poke ball it will record steps travelled and you will get random prompts (noises) to press buttons on the ball to interact with the pokemon. This earns a stack of XP (~10000 per day) so can level mons up real quick.ALSO it works as an accessory for Pokemon Go on the phone. As an accessory it will auto-spin pokestops and allow you to catch mons with a button press, meaning you don't walk round with your nose in the phone al the time.In this sense it's better than the PoGo plus (but bigger) though not as good as a Go-tcha. But neither of those is a Switch controller too.So if you have the Switch and Pokemon Let's Go + Pokemon Go this is a great add-on, less so if you have only one of these. For use in PoGo only it's very pricey.

I love it. It’s a really nice size. The feedback when catching Pokemon is really quite something and along with that you can connect it to Pokemon go without having to buy the Pokemon plus which is the same price and with no fuctionality. The ability to take your favourite Pokemon around with you from Pokemon go is really fun with some really good in game benefits like bonus candies and xp for said Pokemon. It’s a little pricy still but for a Pokemon fan it’s a really nice accessorie with a lot of thought in it. And if you’re a collector a must have since it has the only way to get mew atm in Pokemon go which in my opinion is a dumb way to get people to buy it but I guess if it works then goodfor them.

The pokeball plus is very good if you have pokemon let's go pikachu or eevee or pokemon go. You can redeem a free mew on your let's go game if you have a pokeball plus. Also, you can use the pokeball plus to automatically catch pokemon and spin pokestops in pokemon go. Also, you can take a pokemon from lets go for a stroll. When you do this, the pokemon will go into the pokeball plus and when you aren't using it, you can turn it on by holding the button and then shake it to play with the pokemon inside it, so it will get XP when you take it out of the pokeball plus back into the game. The pokemon inside will also get XP when you use the pokeball plus in pokemon go.

The Poké Ball Plus is a great product, well built and easy to use. For the dual purpose of Nintendo Switch Controller & as a Pokémon Go Accessory the price is quite reasonable, but for a single purpose it is quite expensive & you may be better off buying a Pokémon Go Plus or a Switch Controller. The product quality is great, it is sturdy & ergonomic, the only downsides after long term use are that the white can start to discolour & the rubberized outer edge can begin to divot if stored amongst coins or keys.WARNING: This can be quite gimmicky & short lived. Anecdotally, I know many people who no longer use their Pokéball, but still play Pokémon Go.

This has been a real bonus getting my two out for walks during lockdown. It is understandable that people will see it as expensive, but if you use it for Pokémon go on your mobile and let's go on the switch, it's good value. When one of my kids is playing let's go on the switch, the other can join in to help by just tapping the button and giving it a shake. The petting function is a bit of a novelty that wore of quickly, but the step counter with in-game rewards (switch only) is still engaging them.My kids have integrated these into their real-world play whilst catching Pokémon with the mobile app.Altogether, very pleased with this item.

I was debating whether to buy this to go with the Pokemon go Eevee game, i'm so glad i did. It's a very nice controller and just makes it feel like you are holding the Pokemon you just caught from the game with it's sounds and vibrations. It's a high quality finish and comfortable to hold. I would recommended for most Pokemon fans, it may be novelty but it will enhance the latest Pokemon switch game experience. Definitely not for throwing so I would have an adult keep it out of sight when not in use, as could easily be mixed up with similar looking toys.

This was great. We bought for our sons birthday and could only find in stock on this website. Really nervous buying from China and didn’t think it would come on time, but I messaged the seller after purchase to ask if it were possible for them to send it quickly in order to have it for the birthday, they responded and posted it that day. Arrived the day before and works brilliantly. Box is all in Chinese so just make sure you google instructions. Very happy 7 year old. Thank you

As someone who has been a Pokémon fan since the original Game Boy titles, this would have made the 8 year old me so happy. The controller is very well made, with quality rumble and sounds. The only minor disappointment is the analogue stick, which is small yet functional, but could have benefitted from a more ergonomic shape. Apart from that, whether being used for Pokémon Let’s Go or Pokémon Go, the controller is great!

Bought this for my pokemon mad 6yr old.Took a while to understand the button configuration as there's only 2 (one predominant and one on the joystick) to figure out which does which. When used for the first time there is a free pokemon for the first account (mew) so he loved that. Also useful when tied in with pokemon go on mobile as it can be used to aid "capture" Rumble and light features are a great addition

This little Pokeball is so much fun! Linked with the game you feel like a Pokemon Trainer and get transported into the world of Pokemon. My son has had so much fun since launching the game and keeps telling me what he has caught and how he has done this.Packaging of the pokeball could be better, it’s in a flimsy cardboard box whereas all other Pokemon items we’ve bought have had great packaging.
