As the first reviewer stated, this is a question of value. I lucked out and found it right under £8.00, but even then it's still a plastic stand really.Above said, I personally wouldn't be caught without it as someone who uses their 3DS daily... I love to just grab it and go without messing around with the charger, same goes for putting it back at night... just drop it in and you're sorted. A small convenience, but a convenience all the same.I liked the old style dock, but this one at least one-ups that one given that is holds the New 3DS vertically therefore taking up less space... while simple, it also has a fairly clever cord winding system,

Love it. Ive had a couple of the original 3DS cradles, and I have to say this is the best yet. Presents your 3DS really nicely, and even has a cut out for your street pass/spot pass light so you can view notifications from across the room. You can also coil the cable inside the bottom, hiding any access from view.The plastic itself is a really nice quality and comes with an engraved Nintendo logo. The box is made from the same high quality packaging as the New 3DS itself.The only complaint Ive seen on here is that sometimes picking up your device will pick up the dock too (like when you pick up a glass on a wet coaster). To prevent this, a teeny bit of blue tac works wonders. If I got traveling,

The New 3DS dock is quite a good addition for the desktop and allows your New 3DS to look both cool and use less surface area whilst charging.The mechanism for moving the charging pieces is good, but it seems the New 3DS is too flush for the handheld to slide in smoothly and always move the mechanism for charging which is slightly inconvenient. It seems the design of the original 3DS charging dock was more reliable.This isn't a deal breaker though, and I'm still glad I got this charger. A great accessory for the 3DS.Bear in mind that this is only the dock and not a charger for your New 3DS.

The product works. I have an American 3DS and the cord works perfectly. The fact that it is a USB cord is much better than a static charger, because I can use it when I got home. I would absolutely recommend the charger, which comes with attachments for several other devices.But the thing that really blew me away was the customer service at the Holborn location. They were incredibly friendly and professional, and even allowed me to test the charger in store to ensure it would work for my DS.

I asked for a white charging cradle for the new 3DS and that is exactly what I got. Okay so it's just a piece of plastic that I paid around £10 for.Shows off the faceplates nicely. It's also a very handy place to keep the console when not in use. The vertical design takes up little space. The wire can be nearly stored away underneath the cradle and of course it charges it! (NB if you didn't already know, Chargers are sold seperately)I don't have any cons, it is what it is and I like it.

I bought this as my son's 2DS charger was broken. This plug works perfectly and comes with plugs for most of the DS range which is quite useful as the kids have a range of them.This consists of a USB plug with a USB cable as a plug in. The advantage of this is that you could use the cable to charge from any USB socket, for example in a car. As such it is a much more flexible device than the original charger as well as being significantly cheaper than the Nintendo replacement device.

One of those little purchases that felt like a real big win.Half the price of ebay alternatives, has the bonus of being usb compatable and works with several different handheld consoles. Don’t waste your money paying £20 for a second hand nintendo unit. This is everything you need for 1/4 of the price.Charges my DS lite consoles flawlessly. I bought two and both are well made and working perfectly. Charging a completely flat battery to full very quickly. Thank you Argos!!!

I brought my boys a D's xl for xmas and only brought one charger..big mistake as they can't wait to take turns charging it so popped into argos to get one..The actual nintendo one was out of stock so decided on this one which was a bonus as it has multiple charge points on the end so can also use it for our mobile phones and tablets too!! ☺ bargain buy for the price!

I like this cradle more than the last, as it's a bit more stylish than the previous generations. It has an area to tidy/wrap the cable and a choice of which way to display the stand. This new stand is designed to help you reclaim some crucial desk space!The downside? You can no longer charge/play your DS on it like you could with the old stand.

Bought this charger for my new Nintendo 3DS XL as it doesn't come with one. I was pleasantly surprised at the cheap price for a charger that can charge a news 3DS and the old ones plus a psp. Build quality is good and not flimsy. A very good buy compared to the generic chargers which cost a little more. I have no problem recommending this ...

Bought in a rush when my daughter forgot my grandsons ds charger on an overnight stay, he wanted to play on it so even tho it was boxing day I ordered it and it was delivered 2 hours later I was impressed, and had a very happy grandson.. it now stays at nanna's house and I am sure the other connectors will be used for various things too.

Originally thought that the quality would not be too great due to the cheap pricing compared to official chargers. Never been more wrong, this charger works and looks great, it's great that the actual lead is a usb too allowing for better storage.Would definitely recommend this for choice of 3ds charger

Looks nice and in my opinion looks better than the original 3ds dock, but it can be a bit fussy sometimes and won't charge, for example if your 3ds is leaning slightly forward when you put it on the dock the 3ds won't accept it. Which isn't too much of a problem as you can just push it and it will charge.

I’ve purchased this product before a few years ago and when I lost my last charging cable I was over the moon to find out it is still stocked. It is fantastic for the price. I use it for my 3ds and it is fantastic. You have the option to use it as a usb charger or connect it to the plug that is provided.

I bought this charger for my grandson because his old one broke. He is very happy as he can now charge both his DS and his 3DS using just the one charger rather than having to find the individual ones. The only complaint he has is that the lead is very short so he can't play a game whilst charging.
