Good little piece of kit. You should know what to expect before you buy to avoid disappointment.Everything was, as I expected. That is:A. 3 x magnification is the minimum, you can't zoom out. -So you need to be 15ft away from what you want to look at.B. The additional 2x magnification is digital. As such expect a lesser quality if you choose to use it. Personally I'll only use the digital 2 x magnification to fine tune the focus for distant objects.C. You will be looking an LCD screen inside the eyepieceD. It uses an always-on UV lamp. (Best used where view is unobstructed, as the light will bounce off objects in front of you and saturate the view)E. The image is black and whiteF.

This is great! One thing to keep in mind is this is a monocular with a nice size lens. So at short distances it has a small field of vision but at a larger distance it is just like any other monocular or binocular and it looks normal. In complete darkness it shows a black and white bright picture you can adjust the brightness and you can see a very slight lag at the brighter setting, You can adjust the focus by rotating the lens. This bow season I will test the distance in a field, but at home i can see completely dark areas 4 houses away and across the street very clear and bright. street lights and other light will drown out your vision which i would assume is common much like an unneeded flash on a camera make everything over exposed.

Good bang for the buck. Brings in objects a bit past 100 yards. Moon or artificial lights in the area would increase it somewhat. Excellent at 50 yards. It has three settings for intensity and IR and either a 3x or 6x magnification. At full power, the video slows down noticeably (8 fps is slow), but other two frame rates are fine (12 and 25). I haven't given it a full run to see how long batteries will last, but the only thing I would like would for it to be water proof. Great deal in all.

Love this scope I use it to see where my ir lights are looking on my night vision scope and also to scan for eyes. With after market ir lights works well and sees far. All the functions work and zooms to 2x easily has 3 ir settings which help when scanning . Works well day or night. Defiantly not a waste of money .

Takes a little time to adjust for the right setting but it does work ok. Does the job right for someone thats just wants to see what night vision is. Plan on buying a better unit later on. Good item for a first time use at a low price.

Works great for the price. I was looking for an inexpensive night vision option for a gift and this was perfect. It works better than expected and will be perfect for my brother-in-law for home security, emergency and camping use.

Fantastic little bit of gear, bought it as a trial for wildlife control on airports and it's become invaluable already. The price is deceptively low, if you actually read the instruction manual it's a excellent quality product.

This truly was more than I expected for the price you can't beat it. I have never used night vision before so I can't compare it to other nvd's but I love this item it says 3-6x but mine only zzoms to 2x other than that great

I bought this to replace my first night vision scope from Night Owl that was stolen. Just like the other one it takes a while to figure out the controls and to get the hang of focusing as you view at different distances.

Much better than I thought it would be. I could see clearly up to 75 yards, further when I used an I.R. spotlight. I would recomend this night vision device to anyone looking for a good low price viewer.

The night vision monocular worked great. best if no light is on at all. Took a little while to scope in and adjust , but once you get used to adjusting focus it works great. infra-red well pass 30 yards.

It definitely sees in the dark for a very long distance. The picture is rather clear. It's just a toy for me as I have no practical use for it, aside from looking at the creatures of the night.

It is what it is. This NV monocular works well for the price! The view is somewhat small and the lcd is little too bright, but it is useable and fun for night time viewing

This is a great I/R night vision monocle, and is priced just right. Definitely buy this is you are in the market for inexpensive night vision.

Works very well for a small investment.Images are clear and bright.I would recomend it for anyone interested in night time property security.
