After being very disappointing by previous purchases of cheap nasty leaky Chinese water pistols, I am so glad I tried one last time.AT LAST I seem to have found a water pistol that does not leak and feels well made.We left both of them, full of water, on a tray overnight = zero sign of leaking.Even when squirting them, I did not notice any leaks from the trigger or anywhere else.These ARE of Chinese manufacture, but they are commissioned by an American company "NERF", which is part of the Hasbro group, who invented Monopoly (I looked all this up !!). Obviously they told the Chinese to make a decent product this time, and (so far) it looks as if they have succeeded.

It's just like rolling back the clock to the 50's and 60's when you try out these Super-Soaker branded squirters - these are solidly-made old-school water pistols. They don't hold gallons of water and they don't have an air reservoir for a continuous stream, but they are leak-proof, very compact and produce a decent squirt with each trigger squeeze - they're just the same as the ones that I played with as a kid. I've bought them so's I can squirt our cat, who's taken to scratching at the sofas whenever he thinks that it's time for a meal (which is every couple of hours). RECOMMENDED!!

As per the other review on here I can't confirm these don't leak when left lying on their side full of water. I've one that does and one that doesn't!!Effective range approx 10-12 feet.Trigger is nice and light for younger children say 2-3 years old+.Water capacity average. About 30 or 40 shots before a refill required.Construction = good quality.Ease of refill... My 4 year old can't however easily open them to refill, you need a nail and the cap can be a bit stiff. See the second pic.Personally using them as a cat deterrent (and also a kid's toy).

These little water pistols are great. The size is perfect and they’re super simple to use.We bought them for my 2 year old daughter and she loves them. The trigger is easy to pull and she comfortably runs around the garden squirting all visitors. The filler cap is a bit tight, but that just means that dad needs to keep topping them up. They don’t leak, which is awesome.

Was looking for a water gun for my 4 year old daughter. Something that was small and well made and didn't leak. The Nerf Super Soaker Zipfire are great she can use them fine although she isn't able to remove the filling cap but she is easily able to shoot them. The are also big enough for adults to use. Would recommend for parents with small children.

We bought these to manage the barking at feed time for the dogs. Being so compact they are just the right size and don't squirt too much water. Also they do not leak (ideal for our purpose). Aside from our use, I would recommend this as a great toy, with two pistols in one pack it would be great fun to play with outdoors.

These are very much old school water pistols, so no pumping up or any of that just point and pull the trigger a few times - i have to say pretty impressed with the power and accuracy they fire but the seal isn't absolutely so gets a bit drippy.

Bought as an anti squirrel deterrent at the birds feeding tableEasy to aim and shoot... Has a trigger and does not require any pumping up !Unsure what it would do in the hands of a younger person in terms of sturdiness

Ordered these for our kids to use in the garden, one arrived broken but a message to the seller and some replacements were on their way, fantastic little water gunsVery happy with the product and the service :)

Pretty decent for keeping the local cats off the garden leaving their toilet mess all over.Although a larger one would get better range. But larger ones are less handy to just grab and chase a cat defecating.

Bought it for a bit of fun with my daughter (toddler). It’s small so you will need to refill but it means her hands can actually pull the triggers. Reasonable value for money and seems sturdy so far!

These are a great small size and I use them to stop my naughty dog barking at other dogs . It goes on my pocket and when he’s just about to misbehave I pull it out and he now shuts straight up.

Great little water pistol I don’t have to chase my bunny from eating my flowers she just gets a little squirt... not even needed If she sees the pistol.

The white one was perfect - no leaks and good strong jet.The green one leaked. The producer needs to implement a quality control procedure.

These are excellent for small children who have small hands and can't use larger water guns, they are really easy to use and good quality.
