If you don't go with reusable nappies, these are the next best thing. They are well fitting, don't leak (this has improved since previous versions). They are mostly made from renewable resources which means more of the nappies are biodegradable and less oil-based. This is better for the planet.Note that they are not 100% made from renewable resources - see below quoted from the manufacturer's website:"Rather than basing so much of the nappy on oil based plastic as other brands do, Naty nappies use bio-based and plant-based plastic wherever possible. While the nappies are not made from 100% bio-based or plant-based materials yet,we are proud of the steps we have taken to provide you with an environmentally friendly nappy.Naty nappies consist of wood pulp to help with absorption, a back sheet and distribution center based on bio-based materials, as well as cellulose in the nappy. To further improve the absorption of our nappies we use a small amount of super absorbents.""We do use a small amount of super absorbents in our nappies. Super-absorbent granules are widely employed within the disposable nappy industry to enhance absorption performance and leakage protection. They have enjoyed a long, safe history of use spanning some twenty years in nappies, as well as other products such as feminine care and adult incontinence nappies. SAP technology has developed considerably over the years but has evolved around the same basic chemistry, of Sodium Polyacrylate salts together with surface cross linking agents. The super-absorbent in common use is absolutely safe and has been thoroughly tested in all aspects for allergic reaction and toxicity.Without super-absorbent, the performance of the nappy would be much less effective due to the absorbent capacity being much lower. This would have a negative impact on the dryness of the nappy with increased risk of nappy rash, as well as requiring more frequent nappy changes. However, at Naty we do use less super absorbents than many leading brands."The bottom line is that these disposable nappies are more eco-friendly than almost all the others available. So worth paying a premium for these, which will reduce your environmental impact and hopefully encourage other manufacturers follow suit.

This huge pack of 80 nappies is great value for money (if you shop around). There are some sellers who put them on here at silly high prices, and try to sell them as the ultimate eco-nappy to appeal to the Chelsea Mums, but in reality you can get them moderately inexpensively if you shop around. They're really well packed (although I do wish they'd use something other than plastic to house them in, that's the only thing which isn't eco-friendly!The nappies hold quite a lot of liquid, and stay up pretty well. Occasionally (maybe 1 in each pack of 80) the tabs rip as you try to put them on. Usually they're pretty strong, but sometimes they can be a little weak and you need to chuck the nappy out which is a shame. As long as it's survived that step, I've not had a nappy rip yet.The only times nappies have come off are in the night, when they're really full and the little one has been fussy, and pushed or twisted it off. Otherwise, they've remained on through thick and thin. These are really good nappies, well recommended.

These Naty nappies come with excellent Eco/Bio credentials. They are made from plant based materials with no plastic, gels, perfume or chemicals which might affect your baby's skin adversely. The size we are reviewing is Number 2, for babies 3 - 6 kg (6 - 13 lbs) suitable for most newborns unless they are especially tiny. The nappies look good, no cartoon characters but just a delicate plant and "LOVE" in grey on the front, and small grey sun outlines all over. The legs are well stitched for elasticity all round, and they are not at all bulky. We found work well for our youngest grandchild as long as you put them on carefully, ensuring you have a good fit and the inner side pieces are tucked around your baby.Yes,they are more expensive than many high street brands, but especially when your baby is very small it is worth taking every care to avoid nappy rash, allergic reactions etc on their sensitive skin

My child has never had rash problems with more traditional non-eco-friendly nappies, but I was still interested to try these. They are made from 100% plant-based material. Yet they look (and feel) pretty much like a normal nappy. They fit well, the sticky wait band works well, and they are just as absorbent as normal nappies. Have had no leaks after a week of use - though we never normally have issues with leaks with normal nappies either. Also have had no rash problems.Price wise, 88 nappies for over £20 is at least double the cost of Pampers, so I suspect the only people who are really going to go for them are people who are super sustainability conscious, and have a fairly substantial disposable (no pun intended)income. For those of average income, these nappies may be out of reach. However, cannot quibble with product quality, or with the eco standards.

The 100 nappies arrived in neat packs of 25, they are manufactured in Sweden and are free from toxins, dyes and perfume that could harm a baby’s delicate skin and are completely bio degradable. There is a decorative motif on the area that would normally be at the front when used. They are very slightly more bulkier that a nappy from another manufacturer widely available in the UK, but they are soft and absorbent with an inner lining that stops the moisture clinging to the baby’s skin. Size 1 is for a newborn weighing 11ilbs ( 5kg) For the discerning parent, this nappy provides comfort and protection for the baby and is environmentally friendly – will not clog landfill sites.

These Eco Premium Disposable Diapers for Sensitive Skin do their job very well. They're actually a bit thinner than nappies we've used before, but we find them to be just as absorbent as the more established brands. They are easy to put on and take off and remain on as they should without slipping or becoming unattached. So far too we have not noticed any irritation to baby's skin , which is great. So all that is good and we also have the comfort that, certainly compared with a lot of disposables on the market, they are relatively eco friendly. OK they are a tad more expensive than some, but we both feel they are worth it for the benefits we, baby and the planet all receive.

Made from plant fires these Eco by Naty Premium Disposable Diapers are a great alternative to traditional disposable nappies as they are made from sustainable materials and, when disposed off, will degrade relatively quickly and without overly damaging the environment. Most importantly for those of us using them though is that they are very absorbent, comfortable on baby and don't work loose or come undone while being worn. Nor does our grand daughter suffer from any skin irritation as a result of wearing them. Which in her case is a real benefit. Currently being sold on Amazon at less that six pounds for 100 they represent excellent value too

If you're keen on reducing the amount of harmful chemicals on baby's things, these are definitely worth using. However, if you're trying to help the environment then these may not be quite the eco option you'd think from the packaging. They still take up a lot of room and whilst the packaging is partially made from renewable sources, 40% still is none renewable. For us these are ideal for emergencies and to use along side cloth nappies for days out, keeping in the car or just for back up.They're fairly liquid absorbent, not perfect but I definitely find them to be more than acceptable and the eco, chemical free filling is a winner for me.

It's the first time we have used these nappies and they saw some heavy use with the 16 month and his two year old cousin this weekend. He has very sensitive skin and these did not irritate him in any way so that was a big plus. Even around the elasticated bits there was no redness. The packaging says that there they are '100% bio and only have plant based material against the baby's skin'He is very active and thrashes around and there was no leakage. She used them though the night and again even though they felt very heavy in the morning there was no leakage. The re-cycling credentials are pretty good as well.

I really like that this brand of nappies are apparently so eco-friendly. Made with zero dioxins, fragrance, phthalates and colourants. They are mostly made with plant based products which breathe more and so help with the reduction of nappy rash and irritants to a baby's skin. These nappies work really well and although they feel quite lightweight they hold plenty of body fluids without leakage. I find that you need to take care with fixing them on with the straps - you need to be quite firm as there isn't much elastication. The price is quite competetive and presumably they are more biodegradeable too afterwards.

We have used these nappies since my daughter was born. She’s now 1. Never has any issues with leaking (apart from the new born explosive poo from time to time) and never any nappy rash. We had to use an alternative brand once and her skin flared up terribly but as soon as we were back to these it went again. They are pricey compared to tiger nappies which is a shame as it will put others off being able to use a more environmentally friendly nappy. I’m not sure if they are fully biodegradable though? We love them though and won’t use anything else (unless we can no longer afford these).

Lovely to be able To buy something that helps the environment where possible but it doesn't always work as well as you'd like. This is one of those products where you will need to decided if being eco is worth a nappy that's not as good as others on the market. It did fit well and easily. Like all other nappies but if you don't fit them just right you will get leaks as we have. Once fitted securely it does contain everything but doesn't seem to hold as much as an everyday disposable. They aren't cheap but they are eco friendly.. Its your choice to make. Great for sensitive skins.

As someone who's especially conscious of their carbon footprint, I was keen to find a nappy that wouldn't end up festering on a landfill site until long after humanity is wiped out by a.i and dinosaurs. Well. I think I've found it. I changed my newborn last night and left her nappy on the floor in the middle of the room just like I always do, only to find this morning that it's COMPLETELY GONE! It's clearly bio degraded away. I don't care if it leaks; that's incredible. With technology like this available to us, one wonders where we'll go from here as a species.

They are expensive compared to other brands, but new design has even better absorbency than the ones 4 years ago with my first baby.Remember that some local authorities don't have composting facilities, so the fact that these are biodegradable will not make any impact when disposing of them ( our council burns all rubbish). At least the process of making them will not be as taxing for environment?Best part, apart from amazing absorbency, is no chemical smells.New baby HAS NOT ONCE developed nappy rash since birth.I love this brand.Next step, reusables!

I’ve been using Naty for both my children (1&4 though the latter is out of nappies now) & I swear by them. I (almost) never had issues with leaking except when I didn’t change them on time (every 4 hrs max or when baby slept +12hrs.It’s a known fact that nappies create hundreds of thousands of tonnes of landfill around the world every year. I don’t have to for the washing of cloth nappies so this is the next best thing I buy to lower my impact on the environment. None of the other brands can claim that...unfortunately.
