For all intents and purposes, buying this controller was a serious risk, and to be honest, I only really did it on the basis that I didn't mind losing the £90 or so that it cost. The thoroughly mixed reviews, with blanket statements like "it doesn't work" and "it's a waste of money" were a worry, as was the general 'high end' gaming controller market - I've heard more complaints about Scuf support and hardware quality than I can shake a stick at.As someone that isn't really much of a 'hardcore FPS player', this purchase was about getting something comfortable that had all the buttons configured in such a way along the grips, as well as certain other things that drove me mad about the stock PS4 controllers such as requiring charging every bloody seven seconds. They're flimsy too, and I feel like Lou Ferrigno while holding them. This thing is meaty (it's roughly the same proportions and shape as the Xbox One controllers, which are perfect for me), and you can further augment this density by adding small fit-for-purpose weights to the controller grips. This has far more of a noticeable benefit than it might seem. It's also wired, with a robust braided cable that is beginning to fray a little bit in certain areas but has held up remarkably well otherwise. The custom buttons are superb, they have faced up to heavy use on games like Destiny 2 and Fallout 4. The accompanying app, which requires 2-minute setup on your PC, is a bit untidy and a bit garish but this is essentially too minor to worry about. The Nacon website hosts user-submitted 'profiles' for most games, and other users vote the best ones to the top. I haven't actually needed to configure one myself, the top-rated Destiny 2 one was perfect.Every single button is configurable, down to extreme micro-management of the buttons and sticks (sensitivity, which you can override with most games, and things like stick dead zone - Google it). Even the backlight colour on the thumbstick. If there is absolutely any latency at all, it isn't noticeable. The buttons respond identically to how they did on the first day, after what's estimated is hundreds of hours of use.I'm going to wear this into the ground and buy a new one. Nacon has a steady customer in me for now, I am not prepared to even consider an alternative at this point in time.Pros:- Durability, lifespan- Shape, profile and weight- Good quality of support- Extensive button mapping profile library- Extreme micro-management of the button and stick mapping- Wired- Customisation options- Overall value for money- Packaging (neat little carry pouch, if that's your thing)Cons:- The controller can't turn on the PS4 on its own (this is such a minor issue, all things considered)- The stick 'stalks' being steel make the controller a bit 'noisy' (again, a trade-off for improved durability and such a minor thing)- The level of detail involved in the app potentially risks creating a confusing UI for usersThanks for reading folks.

I wouldn't usually write a review on a controller that I have been using for a month now, but I just have to put it out there that this is an exceptionally good controller.I have been a loyal Scuf consumer, but within 2 years had to purchase 2 Scuf Impact (PS4) controllers as the first one broke within 5 months and the second broke within 2 months with major thumb-stick problems such as drift movement. Even after sending it back to Scuf for a repair it didn't resolved the problem. So I took a huge risk on this controller, it took some time getting use to the left thumb-stick approx 2 weeks of gameplay (mainly playing Destiny 2, Fortnite and COD),but since getting use to the left thumb-stick location I could never return to a standard ps4 controller thumb-stick locations, its amazing just how comfortable it is once you get use to it.The Nacon Pro 2 controller is out of this world regards what you can do with it's button mapping customisation options and the userface of the software (for me on Mac) was exceptionally good and easy to use.The overall feel and build quality of the controller is solid, very robust and feels very comfortable in your hands with (plus I have very large hands) with a soft touch finish for very good grip. The underneath buttons are very comfortable and take very little finger muscle memory to use them, they are so neatly positioned directly where your fingers sit.Only gripe would be that it is wired and in some ways it would be better it was a fixed wire instead of a detachable wire, or better a wireless version of the controller, but that being said it is plenty long and you know your controller is always switched on.Overall a very good quality controller which I hope will bring me a solid 12 months of good use, if not longer, at half the price of scuf which their build quality in comparing is nothing compared to this Pro 2 Controller, if this controller lives up to it's use so far I will now be a loyal Nacon consumer.Highly Recommend to all PVP gamers out there, once you train yourself to get use to it, you won't look back!Additional comments: Thank you to Staraxe UK for providing stock and a great price of this controller and for Amazon with their superb purchasing experience - as always.

Almost perfect! I prefer the feel and layout of XBox controllers, and the flexibility of paddles that replicate the action buttons. I play mostly Destiny 2 (who am I kidding, I’ve not played anything else for years…), so being able to jump or slide without taking thumbs off the thumbsticks is really useful.Only thing is that I find it really difficult to reach the paddles underneath the controller. I don’t think my fingers are particularly stubby - I can use the XBox Pro controller without any problem - but they don’t sit comfortably under my fingers on the Nacom, which means I have to adjust my grip to use them. Sometimes that means the controller slips slightly as a result. There are only two paddles, which respond to both a pull and a push with your middle fingers, and I’m finding it easy to miss a push in the heat of the moment. The software to programme the controller - I downloaded the Mac version, which needed me to authenticate as the app isn’t certificated by Apple - isn’t very intuitive, and I couldn’t find instructions to swap between the four profiles you’re able to save, while using it.The USB-C connector seems reasonably secure - I’ve been using the controller for a few weeks without any issues. There is a warning not to wrap the cable around the controller for storage, while it’s plugged in - I guess this puts additional stress on the connector, which could lead to it gradually working loose. That was always the weak point of the XBox Pro controller - the micro-USB connector consistently worked its way loose over time on the three I’ve worked my way through, rendering it unusable.I haven’t used the additional weights to adjust the feel in the hand, but it’s nice to know I have that as a option if I ever do weights, and the controller starts feeling like a teeny tiny toy in my hands as a result.Overall, while there are some irritating shortcomings, it’s not bad. It’s a step up for the standard PS4 controller, but if they could sort out the paddle placement, or diameter of the grips, and the confusing app, it’d be pretty much perfect.

If you're looking for a pro controller that doesn't burn a hole in your pocket and provides tonnes of customization options, look no further.Been using this for over 6 months now.Like all other pro controllers it will take some getting used to, but you'll be a force to reckon with once you get the hang of it.You can setup and save upto 9 different game profiles with 3 modes:Mode 1: PS4 only (Blue light)This mode allows you to map additional buttons right from the controller, no PC required. Just press and hold the Profile button and start mapping the face buttons.Mode 2: PS4 only (Red light)Now this mode requies PC and gives you option to setup 4 different game profiles, which can be toggled by pressing Profile button.PC (Purple light): As the name suggests, in this mode you can setup 4 different profile for PC games, which can be toggled by pressing Profile button.Though keep in mind that the controller is wired and you cannot use this to turn on your PS4. However, wired devices gives you minimal input lag which means highly responsive gaming. And with long analog sticks it gives you better precision and movement in those close counter moments. You can do all sort of customization from analog stick deadzone to trigger response curve. Everything in this controller is customizable using the software. And if you're a fan of the good old rumble of Dual motors from DS4, I bet you won't be disappointed.Hope you all find this helpful. Happy Gaming.PS4 gamertag - rexnareshFortnite PC - narexhApex legends PC - NU-KYNG.

I had an Xbox for over ten years and decided to get a PS4 due to friends playing on that console, biggest issues I found where I’m the PS4 controller as it’s not designed for FPS games and the controller was very small, I had searched for a long time to find a way and was using adapters but these would not work all the time so when this was first announced I bought the controller and it made all the difference, so when the Pro controller 2 came out it was a must with the added PC support, you can load 4 different profiles , have four customisation buttons on the rear that are not as flimsy as the scuff ones, hair trigger firing and feels much better than the OG PS4 controller,it is also a first party product so fully supported by PlayStation, when you are playing on PC I hope you know the Xbox controller button layout before you play as it will think it’s an Xbox controller but perfect in every way

This review is based on 100+ hours of gameplay on this controller. So far, i have no complains from the pro 2. The placement of the sticks and the concave convex shapes is one of the best things and easy to adjust to. The l2 r2 is a bit disappointing. The weights are very useful to get that optimal grip.! The m1 and m2 will need some time to get used to as it is not very user accessible. Will update more.So guys, have had about more than 100 hours of gameplay out of the pro 2 and i have to say, the performance is great.! The response time totally changes your game.! And once you get used to it's dynamics, there is no going back to dualshocks.! I would recommend this. Also the wire is long enough to give you ample space to maneuver.Ps: you probably should order from cloutail if available (read the bad reviews).

This controller can be a problem for alot of people as it has a very weird shapeBut for me its very nice!It has a good grip to it , the joysticks are very responsive , the mounts are good but a lil weirdly placed and the L1 and R1 has no proper grip to itYou cannot use them with a slight tough , you'll have to press at the center of the button for it to perform and this has been there ever since i got the controllerOverall , i think its a better improvement compared to a stock DS4With it being under 8000rs for a ps certified controller with mountsNote :- alot of people might face alot of issues getting used to it as its a xbox designed controller for ps4.Happy grinding

Basically premium product with all little things must be. Good build. Soft touch anti slip surface. Cary bag and even cleaning pad.Grate is then You can adjust weight as all other parameters and buttons.App interface is good but I found some not user friendly profile downloading. What can I say its good to have if You want to upgrade Your skills....Only one thing for star off is braided cable. You must put Your attention when store it. Be careful an pull it out before You put controller in bag to prevent controller and cable damage.

So I decided to take the plunge and buy this, I like the DS4 but the joysticks just aren't great in my opinion.Pros:- really comfortable feel- love the joysticks, left concaved is massive for me- triggers and buttons all feel good- customisation via the PC is excellent dead zones and trigger pointsCons:- may take some getting used to if you're a PS person- price is a little high- wired- two back buttons take some getting used to.Overall worth the purchase and the cons are very minor to me.

The negative review here make little sense, if it's faulty then send it back to Amazon. The controller is outstanding compared to the standard PS4 controller. The buttons and triggers are a nice smooth press and the thumb sticks are incredibly smooth in comparison to the horrible PS4 controller thumb sticks. The Nacon controller is highly customisable right down to minute details and button configuration. It's comfortable, comes with weights if you need those things, and screams of high end quality.

I am a huge fan of the Nacon Revolution, both V1 and V2.Since I am a mac user I couldn’t fiddle much with the first version (need a PC to change the settings, so I used the one at work :< ) but the V2 included support for Mac.PLUS I really like the fact it is using USB-C now instead of their previous proprietary cables (it means it’s easier to replace the cable if it fails).Good buy, I am happy with it.

A Quality product, only you can't switch the PS4 on with its ps button and the D-Pad needs little getting used to.. A must have if you damage your original Dualshock 4 like me... After 2 months of regular use no complaint. I got dualshock 4 earlier from Flipkart, it lasted for barely a month Rs. 4k down the drain... In terms of build quality its even surpass Original dualshock 4..

Lets go straight into pros and cons.Pros:1. very comfortable in hand2. extra buttons as well as modes are perfect. I never knew i needed those until i did.3. analogue sticks are super responsive.4. great color scheme.cons:1. L1 and R1 buttons are in awkward position. I struggle to press them.2. Wired. I am not a fan of wired controllers. I wish it was wireless.

12.5.2019

The usb type c cable is not a charger. It's a wired controller so you still have to plug it into the playstation. Doesn't turn playstation on. Apart from that love the build quality. It feels like an Xbox one controller which I like. It feels very good in the hands. If you don't mind a wired controller I would defently recommend.

First of all the dilivery is soo fast that i get it in only 2-3 days. The product is very amazing and i only use this controller as my main controller. Its joystick is longer than the dual shock 4 controller soo it has a great advantage at shooting games. All other features are also great.
