We played this for Halloween 2012 and it was absolutely fantastic. All but one of the attendees were Asian girls but we didn't have any shortage of volunteers for the male roles! Was so much fun dressing up and the suggestions for the music were spot on. The menu suggestions were great but we halloween finger fooded it. Really a great game, wonderfully written and not difficult to follow. Only one person accused the actual murderer which is always a bonus! Definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a fun unusual evening. You can dress it up or down!

This was purchased for my niece's 21st birthday party for 12 people. They played it over dinner in the banqueting hall of a Scottish Castle which had been rented for her birthday treat - which meant they had a fabulous setting in which to play the game. The Group dressed up for the occasion and had an excellent time. 10 - 12 people can play it but the extra 2 characters (if playing with a total of 12) do not have huge speaking parts. Highly recommended though, and good value.

This game was perfect for our dinner party with 11 guests aged from 14 to 75. We all needed quite a bit of time to absorb our character notes, so you need to allow time (and enough light!) for reading. But we did have a lot of laughter and sufficient clues to keep people interested and guessing right up to the end. The recipes ideas were excellent and the quantities perfect. A brilliant evening, and I thoroughly recomend this game.

Recommended ! we played it with 12 players and everyone really enjoyed it!That said, I must add that for some reason the extra characters have a title "optional character" and "rules for extra guests" in their booklets, which I think is a bit of a shame. Also, they have very very little to add to the conversationPro tip - if the girls are outnumbered by the boys - think of giving the role of Cherie Boot to one of the guys

Good fun on a holiday abroad with friends, everyone forgetting character traits and accents the more alcohol was consumed, making it funnier still. Would be better if the killer could be random each time so that it could be played again. The more dressing up and silly accents by participants, the better.

We had our dinner party at the weekend with eleven of us and had a good laugh!! It was one of the best we have done - didn't have to go to too much trouble to find something to dress up in. I stuck to the suggested menu which was great because I was able to make it the day before. Brilliant!

Loved this - we set the scene with posters, french cafe music and friends and family turned up in great disguises, so hard to keep the accents up, too be honest we were having such a laugh the storyline and who did it went by the way a bit, we did eventually get there but what fun.

Was good, very enjoyable evening and played it out with a buffet instead of a 3 / 4 course dinner (can't remember which one is recommended) also, best to complete before get too tipsy as quite complicated and some guests lost focus and messed it up at certain points.

Held a murder mystery dinner party for 11 colleagues as a leaving do for one of them. Had a scream! Everyone dressed up and we just went for it. Explains how to play and for the modest price of this game - it made for a brilliant evening.

Had so much fun with this game. All of my guests enjoyed the night. Had to put some real thought into who the murders were as it isn't obvious like some other games like this. Overall was a great game would highly recommend to everyone.

We got so into the characters of this game and had lots of fun with costumes and accents. The drink flowed and we didn't make it past the first round. We have passed the box on to the next set of hosts and the plot will continue....

We played this new year's eve. So started about 8.30pm and didn't finish until gone 1am Great fun was had by all and everybody dressed up and took part. Would recommend it if you just want a great fun dinner party with a twist.

Very funny characters and names. We got confused with some of the plot so I'd recommend the person organising reads through the instructions before the game starts. Everyone had a good time, the plot was outrageously silly!!

We had a family party whilst on holiday in Spain. There were 12 adults who dressed for their role. Once we got into it went well. Early instructions are a bit confusing but after that it was perfect for the occasion.

We decided to have a murder mystery party for a 65th birthday celebration and it this game proved a great success with lots of laughter and everyone making a big effort with the clothes and accents.
