***edit*** after a short time this item no longer works and randomly goes off in the middle of the night. Did buy 2 of these because we initially loved it that much, but the same happened to the second. Rather enjoyable yet quickly disposable product. ****We love this little item. It does exactly what it says it does, in fact I was expecting the fountain to be a bit disappointing given that this small item is hardly going to be powerful, but it really does shoot up further than I expected it to and it isn't very noisey either....always a bonus!The nose flashes blue and overall this little starfish creates some great bathtime fun...we had lots of giggles!!

I had great difficulty opening the battery compartment. Screws came out easily enough but had to prise door off. Once opened though everything was straightforwardThe toy itself is good fun when switched on the water swoops up into the air about 6 inches and the toy roams slowly around the bath even through bubbles. That's all it does.12-month old put her hands in spray & watched it but not excited by it. Good as a novelty. Might be better in a water pool than the bath for fun

This is the best kids bath toy by far. I bought this for six of my friends children for Christmas and it didn't disappoint. I have had cute baby bath pictures galore as a result. The star is colourful, fun and is an excellent addition to bath time. I would absolutely recommend this 10/10.The only negative is you need a very small screwdriver for the reverse to put in the batteries and it can be quite diddly, especially when you are putting batteries in 6 of them!

I have this for my baby boy, it has a flashing light where the water squirts out and that lights up the water as it shoots out like a fountain, the water shoots about 4 - 5 inches high and a motor spins the star round in circles. great item. My only niggle is that the batteries did not last very long, perhaps it because i did not use a quality brand. I use this everytime my boy is in the bath and would reccomend.

I recently sent back a review on this item, saying not too happy as it broke on one use.i have today had a email back from amazon, sending me out a new one, as they are not the sellers and felt they needed to correct the matter. I therefore retract my view and although the product was lovely shame it failed on once used. But Amazon themselves have corrected the matter . Absolutley great, Thank you AMAZON>

great little addition to any bath tub, young and old alike! This cute little star fish floats gently around the tub spouting water in the air with a cool light, my 6 month old and two year old thought it were hilarious. I like that it is not a massive toy, thus goes away nicely out of site for when I wish to relax away from the toys, tho must admit I have used it in my bath too! makes a nice mood light!

i bought this in the pink version for my daughter as a fun toy for bathtime. it's a good idea, the water shoots up from it's nose but not too high as i was worried it might hit her in the face but it was ok, the toy itself does spin around a little bit, however the batteries do go down quite quickly in it, apart from that it is an entertaining toy and she loves playing with it at bathtime.

Too cute, and does exaclty what it claims. The water sprays about 6 or 7 inches high, and at a slight angle, not straight up, so the stream propels the fountain gently around the tub. My 2-year-old loves this toy. We've had no faults so far, and my husband (an electronics engineer) gave it a thorough once-over and delcared the quality and water-proofing sound.

My 11 month old daughter loves this and constantly reaches out for it to play with.It has an impressive fountain when placed in the water.The only concern is how long will the three AAA batteries last as it will stay on as long as you turn it off.Also there is a very bright blue light that comes on with the fountain which is very, very bright.

Nice toy, and nice idea. But depending on how shallow a bath, how tall the toddler etc... this can just end up squirting them in the face...I wouldn't recommend to use in a water play tray as it squirts the water quite high and spins on it's own soaking the floor.But for those water loving kids it's a brilliant addition to bath times.

Even though it says for 12 months onwards, i brought this for my 7 month old. She loves to be in the bath on her tummy and she absolutely loves this. She loves the light and follows it and when it splashes her she giggles. A top notch product i highly recommend it :)

It floats, squirts water and has flashy lights. Nice toy, my 2 year old likes holding it under and messing around with it. He gets a bit bored after a while and moves onto something else. Will try it on my baby boy soon when he can sit up in the bath and look at it.

I bought this bath toy for my baby nephew.. he is not sitting up yet so has to be positioned to make sure the water doesn't squirt him in the face, but he is mesmorised by it. His Mum, Dad, Dog & Cats are entertained by it too! Well worth the money it seems!

Everybody got mesmerised by this toy, the baby, the adults and the dog :)Soft blue light and a fountain of light makes the bath fun.The star seems to be moving round the bath, so baby can follow itwith its hands. Price very reasonable given great effect.

I bought this recently for my baby niece as my 1 year old daughter has loved it since she was given it at 6 months of age. She absolutely adores it and it has been great for getting her used to being splashed in the face- she doesn't seem to mind at all!
