Motorola Smart Nursery Single Alert Sensor is a handy way of alerting you via your phone when your chosen door is opened. I am finding it very useful as we have a little girl who loves to open doors and away she goes, now I am automatically told she has decided to do her except artist trick and it provides me with enough time to grab her or to be able to supervise her safely. The actual sensor is easy to set up, using an app which is easily found in your friendly app store. The actual sensor is provided with a few different thickness of 3m tape which is used to stick the sensor to the door frame and the door.I found this to be very handy as I was able to use the correct tape for my door which also enabled me to close the sensor tightly which makes sure it works perfectly.Motorola Smart Nursery Single Alert Sensor is a very handy way of informing your phone that the door you have chosen has been opened, I personally like it does not enable a noisy alarm as this is the perfect sensor to keep an eye on a sleep walker as the person who is sleep walking will not be abruptly woken which can prove to be dangerous, it is also perfect for a child's bedroom or even a door which you do not want them to open. The fact it only gives a single alert is a safer and also a more discreet way of informing someone the door is opened.Motorola Smart Nursery Single Alert Sensor is a great item to have in the home and it is one sensor I am happy to recommend.

Motorola Smart Nursery Single Alert Sensor With Window And Door Open And Closed NotificationsIn the box1 x Sensor; 2 x AAA Batteries; 1 x Quick Start GuideWhat it does. This can be used to sense the opening of a door or windows and send an alarm to your phone via an app.Set up.Firstly you need to download the app for the Apple or Goole play store and install it on your phone or tablet. There are several ways to configure it. You also need to put the batteries in the unit and fix it to the place where you need it to be. It comes with 3M stickers to attach it.In use.Although it is sold for children’s nurseries it can be used to indicate the opening or closing of any door or window. This means it is useful as a security device in the home, garage or shops and probably many other uses.Overall.A useful device to indicate the opening of a window and door and alert you via an app. This is easy to use and very effective; we have it on the garage door where the postman leaves parcels etc. so we know when he comes. Also useful for kids room or old people if they open doors at night. The only problem I can see is that you need a good Wi-Fi signal to get it to work reliably. A neat idea that can solve so many problems with kids, gates and elderly people.

This is a simple means of being alerted when a toddler (or older person who needs monitoring) opens and closes a door. There is no loud audio alram that would disturb others, just an alert to your smart device. I like that it tells you how long a door or window has been opened for. The limitation is that you do need a smart monotoring device and wi-fi. The required App is free to download. As it can be mounted with sticky tab and is battery operated, it can be installed in most locations. Easy to setup and use.

Nice little device.Easy to set up.Allows me to monitor windows and doors whilst on holiday. Just use removable sticky pads rather then the perminant ones supplied.Has everything in the box you need except a thin poke that for pairing / resetting. I used a SIM card ejector tool. The only reason for not giving it 5 stars is the software could be a little better laid out and easier to look at. But still highly recommend this.
