First things first, I am a genuine purchaser of this phone and have not been sent this product to write a glowing review.I had always had Motorola phones all the way back to the G5 series but made the big mistake of switching to the Samsung M30 series. They first of all lied about the spec and the phone just did not perform and didn't work properly. For my next phone I decided to go back to Motorola as their system set up is my favorite and I am familiar with it.When I saw they had just released a new model with a stylus, a big memory of 128gb and fantastic spec, I jumped at the chance to purchase this and they were selling out fast.I was really intrigued to see how the stylus performed and I can honestly say that after a week of using it,I would be lost without it, I design a lot of graphics on my phone and usually had the frustrating job of trying to move texts, make images bigger and small, cut things out etc, it's always difficult doing this with your fingers and I can say the stylus takes all these problems away, it's performance during these tasks is a 10 out of 10!The stylus slots into it's little compartment on the bottom right side of the phone and is really easy to take out and put in, the phone vibrates once you remove it and it gives you the option to write memos if needed, it also reminds you to put the stylus back in the phone if it has been out for a certain amount of time. It stays in the phone when it is inserted back in and never falls out by itself.I was surprised as I thought I would just use the stylus only for designing graphics and more for novelty purposes from time to time, I was wrong, I use it all the time, for writing texts, scrolling through social media, everything that involves using the phone, it is just so handy and really responsive and every phone should have one!I was also taken aback by the quality of the sound on the phone, having previously had an Samsung M30 where the speaker was located on the bottom of the phone, every time I put the phone on a surface the sound would instantly muffle and you would not be able to hear it properly. The speaker on this phone is located on the top of the phone in the centre and is the perfect place for it, I have to say out of all the phones I have ever purchased this has the best sound quality, it is so crisp and doesn't sound like it should be coming from a phone!I have had no issues with the battery and I use my phone a lot of the time for videos and social media etc.The Samsung M30 was supposed be a 6000mah but I was charging it daily often twice, this phone with me constantly on social media through work, requires one charge a day, or a day and a half if not used heavily for social media and YouTube purposes and I am more than happy with that.Watching videos on the likes of YouTube and other various platforms again blew me away, the screen was so clear and bright, with the combination of the sound, this was just amazing and I really felt that this phone was such good value for money. I can not comment on the quality of the camera yet unfortunately as I have not gotten around to using it but from what I have seen from other people who have the phone from comments online it has a good quality front and back camera. The system of the phone is better than ever, it's faster than ever and I have had absolutely no issues at all with it.Overall this is an absolutely amazing phone and it's description doesn't do it justice, I am happy with the price I paid for it, at the time of writing it cost £288 in July 2020. This phone ticks all boxes and I am just so glad it suits all of my needs.Thank you Motorola for providing me with an outstanding phone!

This is not just a 'poor man's Galaxy Note'. It is a serious stylus phone which delivers real performance at a quarter of the cost of the foolishly overpriced Samsung.I've been using it for a couple of months now and am very satisfied. The battery really does last for two days of quite hard use. That means that it has to be big and this phone is quite chunky compared to others with the same screen size, but it's not really heavy. The processor is quick and the internet connection strong. Storage is a generous 128 GB and you can extend it with an SD card (I think up to 256 GB but can't confirm as mine is smaller). The screen is bright and sharp. The sound is loud and quite good by smartphone standards. The stylus works well, though it doesn't offer 'palm rejection' like the S Pen of the Galaxy Note, so you have to keep your fingers from touching the screen. The screen itself is very precise and I have no difficulty in writing with bare hands on my preferred 'Hacker's Keyboard', a miniature version of a proper computer keyboard where the keys are considerably smaller than those of the standard keyboard. The phone supports OTG, so for example if you have a card reader you can copy pictures off the memory cards of people's cameras, something I often need to do. Note, though, that its connection socket is a USB C one, so if you have been using OTG on an older phone you will need a new connection cable. The OTG cable also lets you connect to a USB memory stick. And of course you can connect the phone directly to a computer -- you need to use a pull-down menu on the phone to set up the connection but it's easy. The camera has three lenses and offers various picture modes including 8x zoom and macro. Here I am still a bit in the dark. I bought the phone when it was brand new and there wasn't a manual. Now a manual has appeared online but it is utterly feeble and only has a link to a web page to cover the operation of the camera, and this page is out of date and only describes previous models. This may improve later. Anyway, the camera is described at '48 MP quad pixel' but you don't get a 48 MP pcture. You get 4000 x 3000 -- 12 MP, comparable to the last generation of bridge cameras, which is adequate but not fantastic. However, if you use your fingers to zoom out to 8x, the picture remains at 4000 x 3000 in size and is still pretty sharp. I suppose this is done by using all the 48 million pixels and applying an acceptable 2x digital zoom. But in the absence of a decent manual that's just a guess. Anyway you will get good pictures. The camera also offers 10x slow motion, beating an iPhone which only does 8x. Suck it up, Apple. When I bought this brand new phone there were no cases offered specifically for it on Amazon UK. But it's exactly the same externally as the previous G8 Stylus, and cases and screen protectors for that will fit.

Love this phone.I have installed over 250+ apps and it still runs great. 128gb internally and I've added another 128gb. Action cam mode is very clever to get wide video while still shooting in vertical orientation. Portait and lowlight mode are fairly advanced and get the best out of the camera's hardware.Nice speakers, stock Android is brilliant they do not push bloatware at all. The stylus pen is a lovely touch to have in a Covid-19 world.Only downside was that it kept on beeping for notifications that weren't notifications you have to manually disable this in the system tasking menu by long (hold down the pop up notification menu for a few seconds)pressing and disabling it one by one for certain apps like whatsapp.

A very decent moto G phone running android one. It is also tough, has an aluminium frame. The stylus is a bonus, but not very useful on a phone, in my opinion.
