I looked around the site at all available as we all do, there were a lot of dearer, possibly better made ones but I didn't want to spend too much, this for me is a puppy monitor, so I took a chance on a reasonably priced one, this has great sound, its solidly made,and has a wide volume range, its simple to use, you just plug in the listening plug to the mains in the room you are monitoring, press and hold the button to switch on, you then plug in the speaker plug to the mains in the room you will be listening in and press and hold to switch on, I get an intermittent one seconds silence now and then but it is really just one second and does not detract from its usefulness,

The monitors were purchased because my husband suffers with epilepsey, and other problems. The O.T recommended to purchase them as we do not share a bedroom. Sometimes my husband has attacks in his sleep,and in the past i havent heard him or been able to rush to his aid. The monitors are excellent,you can hear every sound, and also the night light that is on the childs unit ( my husbands room) fills the room with light, so a sleeping child if woke up wouldnt be scared. My husband loves the night light on it,because he is up and down in the night. In my room (parents unit) the sound can be ajusted to how you want it. Im so pleased with the monitors and would recommend them to any parent with a child.

I had trouble at first in one of my plug sockets getting sound on my monitor, i think due to other devices close by such as internet and freesat box, it states in the instructions that these may effect the montor but i plugged it into an extension and it works perfect. Have had no other trouble anywhere in the house. The monitors are easy to use and a really good product.

So far so good. We had ordered a different monitor from another supplier that just wasn't up to the job as we couldn't hear anything even though it was only just downstairs. This Motorola monitor is far better, can hear things loud and clear which is a great relief and worth that little bit extra.

Been using for over a week perfect feel relaxed I will hear baby somtimes it switches to saver mode but soon as it hears a noise straight with no delay much cheaper than the shops and perfect and loud to hear baby 5*****

I reckon it is a nice everyday (everynight) item, when you already dont need a video monitor as the baby is older than 6 months! Simple in use, no wires all over:)Nice and cheap!

I purchased these for my daughters age 2 and 7 months. The sound is very clear on little noises and doesn't have any backround disturbance. Would recommend, good value for money.

The fitting is straight forward as is switching them on, The range is very good and sound from the parent unit very clear, you don't miss a thing. Very pleased with them.

Bought for protecting our shed, which is 30metres away. Works well and can hear when I go in. Volume control and light on the baby one. May buy another to use elsewhere.

Just good but I couldn't get the parent monitor to work to reply to baby but that's just me ,I had it for my elderly mom so I could here her cause she was ill.

It works great as my mom is currently bed ridden and I can now go to my bed upstairs rather than worrying sleeping in the lounge. Thank you so much.

Let's my daughter keep an ear open for her baby in a house that is pretty well soundproof from upstairs to downstairs. Works really well.

Am using it as a dog monitor as occasionally dogs have a snap at each other when one is fast asleep and the other one startles her.
