Replaces an older Motorolla unit who's parent unit got knocked off the side and broken. The picture and sound quality of the newer unit is much improved and the ability to remotely control the camera tilt/pan has so far been useful. The camera doesn't lend itself to wall-mounting so I've made a bracket to enable this. Also when at minimum zoom the image is zoomed in a bit too much still which isn't great for being able to see both of our twins in the same image, perfect for one child though.

We have worked our way through several Motorola monitors. This one is very sturdy, easy and intuitive to use (even without looking at instructions), good screen clarity, good range when moving the monitor away from baby's room, good battery life and charges quickly. Disadvantages for me are very bright lights when on charge overnight when you are trying to sleep, unnecessarily bright green light on camera (but I cover this so doesn't disturb the baby), no clock on monitor, annoying camera mount.

Our little one was going into her own room so I wanted a video monitor to keep an eye on her easily. Video quality is good sometimes jumpy but I'm not looking for perfection at that price. The camera needs to sit up high (1m along x 1m high) we can see the whole of our LO but not much else - you can pan tho. This affects the sounds can be picked up - took me a while to get used to not hearing her breath - great for during the night as her rolling &turning doesn't wake me but cries can be heard

After weeks of searching I have decided to buy this baby monitor for my special needs son since his bedroom is downstairs and I need to check him all the night , the sound is very clear that you can hear him breathing , the screen size is great and the quality of the picture is good ( just put on your mind not to compare your mobile phone screen with it ) the battery can last hours more if you switched the screen bottom off ,overall I’m happy with my purchase especially that it was under offer.

My last monitor was dreadful - the picture was fuzzy, the battery went, it made the most annoying noise as the battery died. This product, however, is amazing! Clear, focused picture, the ability to move the camera is a Godsend! Being able to talk to the baby if he stirs is so helpful and reassuring. Plus the sound is so good, if it’s turned to full, I can hear his breathing. The battery lasts for ages, through a full evening, it only drops one battery level. I wish I’d bought this months ago!

Great monitor. Clear picture and sound and no issues with signal. Feels well built However there must have been a design change since some of the earlier reviews. To wall mount the camera, you need to have a separate wall mounting which isn't included. There are no longer screw slots on the reverse, but a threaded hole which takes a standard tripod or a security camera wall mounting. Motorola suggested I purchase theirs for £20 but found something cheaper. Still an excellent monitor though.

When it comes to that time of finding a routine i was so worried about leaving baby unattended upstairs without anyone with him. Having this baby monitor has been a lifesaver and such a mind ease, being able to see him sleeping peacefully helps so much and added bonus of being able to control the camera from downstairs if baby moves you can follow them without waking them up. You can also talk to them through the handheld screen play lullabies, white noise and bird noises. Would reccomend.

100% positive feedback. I can use it every time and everywhere. Night vision is really clear. I can listen to my baby and I can tolktoher as well. I can take my display everywhere I go and always I can see everything on the screen in perfect quality. I can move camera and setup in every position. I can put it on the table or hang on the wall. Display works without charge more than 8 hours. I am just really happy for my purchase because its cheap and really good quality. Thank you Argos :)

We bought this when we moved our daughter into her own room to give us extra peace of mind and we definitely don't regret it. Her room is very small but the camera gives us a clear view of her cot and allows us to keep an eye on her. The fact the camera can be controlled and moved from the parent unit is a real plus point. The only negative for me is that the battery doesn't seem to last very long but I just keep it plugged in overnight to make sure it's always charged up.

This is really good and off the many cameras I've had over the years this is the best. The camera has a really good field of view and with its wide angles of rotation there are few blind spots. When the volume is up on max it doesnt have a humming noise that I have experienced with all my other cameras. The night vision is also really good. BUT ......The camera is not wall mountable which limits options of where to place it

The monitor is great for keeping an eye on baby. With the large monitor screen you can comfortably see what’s going on from distance. My only gripe and why I only gave 4 stars is the Hubble connectivity. This product cannot be viewed remotely via the Hubble app, which after seeing the Hubble logo on the box was the sole reason for choosing it as I work away from home and wanted to be able to check in from afar.

Having previously bought another branded camera that kept going off, I am very pleased with this camera. The camera is sleek and stylish and has an amazing picture quality and I wish I had bought this camera in the first place! Thank you Motorola for making a camera that is versatile, modern and actually works (unlike some of its rivals)!! One happy first time mummy!

Very good quality product, good day and night vision. Monitor nice and clear and has a premium feel. There is a timer which makes screen blank to save battery however I thought it would reactivate based on sound or movement but doesn't.. perhaps I need to look at instructions again! Otherwise very good bit of kit especially at the reduced price

Baby monitors seem over priced across the board so was happy to get a second hand mbp50. I'm happy with this one so far. It replaces a BT 6000 which crops the image rather than physical angling left to right. The recorded lullabies on the Motorola are way better than the digital one BT seem to have borrowed from a low budget 80's video game.

We purchased this monitor to watch our 6 month old. The product was easy to set up although you do have to charge the handset for 16 hours prior to use. All the functions are easy to use, the two-way talk facility is clear and the quality of the video is good too, we can even see him breathing which is fab! Definitely worth the price tag.
