Seems comparable in performance to the manufacturer supplied Motorola GK40 battery with my Motorola Moto E4 and Moto G5 phones. I have found with the G5 phone, and otherwise noted in independent reviews, the battery drains down quickly anyway, and particularly with quite a lot of additional apps installed on that phone. This does not mean there is anything wrong with this battery but instead something to be expected. I hope this helps someone, and particularly someone who may have been put off buying as I was initially by other reviews. Brent Collins.

My old battery was not holding charge very long - so I popped in the new one and now get 2 days + usage between charges.Very easy to change my old one and the price was lower than I expected. I still have the old one - which I now keep charged in case of being caught away from a power source to re-charge mine

Very quick to charge up. Incidentally for those who have a negative view, did you charge it up before using your phone, as it is delivered with only a 30% charge. I used my phone , with this battery at full charge for a good 2 hours and it has 94% charge left in it.Excellent value for money.

I am very pleased with this battery, I have been using it for over a week now, with no issues what so ever. I did as instructed, and let the battery run right down for the first 3 times, and all seems fine, It's like having a new phone again.

Purchased this after looking online to find out what could be wrong with my phone, once the new one was fitted it still would not charge so it was'nt the battery causing the problem, it was the charger port, so everything is up and running

The real deal. A battery that won't leave you in the lurch half way through the day. My original was getting tired after 2 years...thankfully my Moto G5 has a replaceable battery and I'm good to go again.Read full review...

Bought this as a backup for our two Moto G5 phones. Can't see any difference in performance when compared to original battery. I only slipped it in to test it out and it's been in ever since. Excellent.

Great to be able to breathe new life into my Moto G5 since the charge on the replacement battery holds up so well - alas [come the day] not possible with my G5 Plus, given its 'sealed unit'.

Was only getting about 9 hours from the original battery so took a chance on this replacement. Wow, my phone is now back to normal and lasting between 3 and 4 days dependant on use.

I was purchase this battery for Motorola G4 play after searching on internet what battery Motorola G5 use i can confirm moto g4 play and moto g5 use the same battery.

Bought this for my son's phone as it stopped charging, packaged well, came early and worked perfect. Very pleased with the battery highly recommend this product.

Honestly can't praise this battery enough due to my old battery swelling and it over heating I had to get a new one and this was the perfect replacement

Battery was charged 50% and phone therefore worked. After full charge now lasts 36 hours at least. Changed batt as was down to about 12 hours.

As good as the original battery. I was pleasantly surprised that it was an original manufacturer battery for the price. Highly recommended.
