My husband bought this for my four year old to play with.It is quite handy the way it packs down etc and is a really good idea in order to make it truly portable.The ball is foam and the rackets aren't too heavy or likely to injure anyone!...The ball is somewhat light in order to to swing properly. To get a proper game of swingball going on this set you really would have to really hit it fairly hard and 'properly'. Which obviously a four year old is unlikely to do. However - it has been absolutely brilliant for gently tapping backwards and forwards and teaching my little girl how to hit a ball and teaching her further hand-eye coordination.

I bought this product for my 4yr old son, he absolutely loves it. The plastic case can simply be filled with sand or water before play to stop the swingball from tipping over (initially had doubts about the swingball staying upright). All parts pack away into the plastic case which makes the product perfect for taking to Nanna and Grandad's house or on trips out. The height of the swingball is perfect for my son and is already helping to improve his hand-eye coordination. Overall, an excellent product which will provide hours of entertainment!

We bought this for our 3 + 4 year old grand daughters and they love it. Although it is for this age group, the adults even ha a go at it ,with lots of laughs. Simple to set up and easily store away. Not taking up much room at all. I would recommend this to anyone with children under 5. The only problem we had was with the bats as the plastic is very rigid with no give and if caught on the body with it as it is swung around it can be quite painful but we got over this by using softer bats which we already had. All in all a good buy.

While this is the kids version - and it probably is safer for little ones with the foam ball - it can be played by adults no problem - and it is just as much fun! I'd forgotten just how much fun this game can be... The ball is still pretty heavy and you can give it a good 'whack' - unless you are especially big/strong it should be fine to satisfy...If you can only get one model but have small kids that you want to 'share with' I'd say this one is best.

This was a gift for a 4 year old grand-daughter and in her thank you letter she (her mom !) wrote ....."if you'll pardon the pun, the swingball was the biggest hit of the day !"Really practical with the integral stand. Easy to store and move in the case. Great fun and as it's adjustable, it grows with the child.Completely separately, the way it's designed, it's really easy to wrap ! taking just over 1 sheet of standard wrapping paper.

Rather than buy him Easter eggs I got this for my 5 year old grandson and it turned out to be a great success. We had great family fun on Easter Day with everyone taking turns to play with him. The soft ball meant that no-one got hurt if they accidentally got in the way of the ball. His little sister (16 months) was even trying to play. I just hope that it will prove robust enough to stand up to all the fun.

Having been disappointed with a "swingball" where the ball didn't go round the pole, I ordered this one with my fingers crossed. It's great, easy to put up & collapse down, the "case" arragement is easy to store and the ball goes round the pole really easily. My 4-year old loves it and so do his school age friends. I'd definitely recommend this.

This is a brilliant bit of fun for young children. A smaller version of the popular game of swingball, this is suited to those children who aren't yet able to reach the adult version. Brightly coloured and comes in a storage box for easy packing away. Great quality product and really good price. Would definitely recommend.

Looks like a fantastic toy. Very easy to assemble. Arrived incredibly fast. Ordered yesterday late afternoon and arrived very early this morning. Thank you. It was absolutely brilliant. Out little two year old grandson and his parents had a brilliant time playing with this. So easy to build up and use inside the house too.

My 5 year old and (almost) 2 year old have played with this in the garden. Last week we took it to a beach party and it was a great hit with the children aged between 3 and 6ish. My little one did put his teeth into the ball so I may have to replace it at some point but I believe they can be bought separately.

I bought this for my 9 year old and 3 year old to play with. Both of them love it. The ball doesn't always travel downward as it should, but they don't care. We fill the base with water and it is sturdy enough for my girls. You may need sand if you have strong hitters. I have now bought two more as presents.

Very easy to build, the ball is soft enough and the base once filled with water is quite sturdy. I think it's perfect to help the little ones to improve their coordination, plus it's a nice game to do together without loosing the ball around the garden (or outside!!) any 2 minutes.

bought for grandchildren, I liked the idea that it could be used inside and out and the ball was a lot softer, so no getting whacked in the face by a high speed tennis ball, it is aimed at younger children an really helps with co ordination. children seem to love it.

It arrived quickly and was easy to set up.My 2 year old loves it and I love that he doesn't get knocked out when it hits him in the head!The pole seems rather flimsy though, as it bends rather alarmingly when the ball is pulled.Good overall product though.

This is a good thing to buy for summer and if you do camping.we always take this with us and the kids have hours of fun. I always had one when I was younger. This is designed for the younger children so as the get older progress to the bigger version.
