My 5yr old daughter really enjoyed playing this game. Parts are substantially made, but the money is a too thin - can't deal very quickly. Game concept is good, and game length varies from 20 minutes - up to an hour if they are getting good! There are not enough property counters to play the extended version game in 2 player mode! You run out of counters before the game has ended by running out of money. We stick to he basic version instead. Easy reservation & collection from Argos, as always!

Kids loved they were sad both times we have played it and the game ended not long & tedious like the adult one perfect length of time no one got bored and they wanted more so means they’ll want to play it again! Played twice and no one fell out! Only down side which is minor in the adult version u get cards and plastichouses to put in the bits you buy but in this version u get little cardboard disc which easily moves around but kids didn’t mind just my point if u get enthusiastic be careful!

This was a Christmas present for two of my grandkids, and they both loved the game. I love to play regular Monopoly, and here you get to own burger bar, pet shop and even a zooThe 'Chance' cards are easy to understand Lilly Mae and J.J. are 8 & 6 respectively. They soon picked up the owner / rent partisipation and pay the bank/owner correctly. The money is all $1 bills, shame £1 ones counldn't be produced for the UK market. This is a game that teaches kids, math and strategy.

Bought it for my 7years old son, although my 5year old daughter loves it as well, so we spent hours of fun playing with it at this winter holiday. One slight negative thing: the game's been set on the way that whoever started to roll the dice that person is most likely gonna be the winner of the game. But the kids did not realize this yet! (And hope they won't for a while.) Otherwise great first table game which makes your kids thinking, and learn about the basic meaning of strategy.

I love the original Monopoly and as my 3-year-old is starting to get into board games I bought us this. It is simple enough for her to follow. All the notes are £1 which makes them easier for her to count. The rules on buying and renting are simplified too. It's a shame the didn't include a plastic tray to divide the pieces as the box can get a bit messy and this would help a younger child be the banker and set up or tidy the game away.

Bought this game for my Grandaughter aged 8, She loves it and wants to play it a lot. Each game only lasts 15 to 20 minutes and is fast moving. Keeps children interested as it's easy to understand and great fun. Much better for them than the slow moving adult game, but the quality is just as good. Money consists only of £1 notes, so easier to count and no property cards or houses and hotels, just markers to show who owns each property.

My children aged 3, 5 and 8 all loved this game. It was easy for them to understand, they loved the fun characters and locations and having only £1 notes meant they could all count their money easily. The game finishes quite quickly as well so not too long for the youngest to concentrate. My only suggestion would be a larger die for smaller hands. Would highly recommend particularly for the younger age groups.

My kids started playing this at their after-school club so we got one for home. They love the concept of counting their money and it's great for the whole family. It would be better if the money was more realistic and printed on both sides and the board layout could be better , as the chance cards tend to get scattered when people are moving their tokens. But I would still recommend it

This is a fab adaptation of a classic game. My Son who is 5 just wants to play it constantly. My daughter who is 4 also enjoys it but we tend to do teams as she can lose interest. It's much faster and the different rules makes it much more suitable. E.g. You must purchase when you land, currency is simplified. We've had lots of fun playing this as a family. Would highly recommend!

Bought this for my grandsons 9th birthday. He always wants to play the adult version but we never have enough time. I did worry that the children's version might be a bit young for him as it says age 5+ but we have plenty of fun with it. The game is much quicker than the adult one and my granddaughter who is 3 can also play with our help. All in all it has been a great success!

I bought this a few weeks into lockdown and it’s gone down a storm with both my 5 and 12 year old daughters! It’s a much simpler and shorter version of the original Monopoly and we’ve all enjoyed playing together virtually every day so far since I bought it. The length of game can range from 20 mins up to an hour maximum depending on how things go. I’m so pleased I bought it!

My 4 year old loves this. He enjoys the buying of properties and of course collecting rent! He can't read the chance cards but is beginning to recognise which is which. This game can go on for a while but he never loses interest. I'm even considering buying the original monopoly for him for Christmas as I think he would love it and would be ready for it then

Timeless classic board game, great family time well spent playing monopoly. Yes it brings out the competitive nature in all but it's healthy and I look forward to many years playing this in our home. In this edition I love the pieces and with it being child friendly it's a shorter more simplified version, great for primary school aged children.

My son bought this with his voucher, and we love this game, obviously much simpler than the adult version but great fun. We're both fairly competitive so this is great! My son is 6years old and I was worried it would be too young, but it's perfect, not too long to play a game either. Can't wait to get him in the regular monopoly!!

This junior version is brill my 5 year old loves it. We must have played it at least 24 times since Xmas day! It's really simple for children to follow they only have to deal with £20 in £1 notes and all of rent is what's displayed on the board - if u want to buy a property u pay for it and stick your token on it! Simples!
