I bought this product after reading many great reviews. They do not lie: it is simply amazing.Benefits:- I have tried 3 baby carriers and this is by far the best for the person who carries the baby. It was the easiest for the back, could be easily adjusted to the height and shape of the person and fitted everybody (we had a few persons trying it).- Some days my daughter had problems falling asleep, especially when I was out with a group of people. My daughter fouind it too exciting to sleep and then got overtired and just could not fall asleep. in such situations, we used the Moby wrap and it worked every time. We started calling it Moby effect. It was simply unbelievable.- It fits the growing baby perfectly.I started using it when my baby was just 2 weeks and got an "ok" from the health nurse. She was 4,5 kg then.I continued using it until my daughter reached 11 kg. Unfortunately she did that quite early and even though Moby was the best for the back, I simply had to much pain after carrying her for too long.- It helped with breastfeeding. My little one could only be fed in a calm room with no other people in it. She would get too distracted otherwise. That meant many breatfeeding sessions in public bathrooms... However, there were some times where I suceeded feeding her in the Moby wrap. If I timed it correctly, she would breastfeed in there and only after i would take her out, noticed that the area wew were in was not at all calm and isolated. Did not work every time though...To be considered:While this is a great product, it has some - well, not the downsides, but things to consider...- It is not very straightforward to put on. That takes practice and a few tries. Even after learning it well, you still may have some times where you need to take the baby out and put the wrap all over again...- It is very long and the ends may get dirty when putting it on in a public place. Probably not a good idea to take it out when you are stading in a pile of dirt or water poodles..

This wrap is extremely useful for when your baby won't settle anywhere else and you need to get on and do a few things - my baby is only 4 weeks old and a little under the weather with a cough at the moment and very grisly. This wrap is brilliant for settling her though she is less keen in the evening - in the day she will sleep for hours in it. I also have a carrier which is less flexible to use and frankly harder to put on. Also the carrier is bulky and you can only really walk around with it - my baby's head wobbles a lot when I walk in it and can sometimes give her reflux from the jiggling. The wrap is far more comfy and the baby feels more stable in it (when she's asleep with her head against my chest)as her body is wrapped around my contours - I have a big bust which makes the carrier a tight fit as it's an inflexible structure. I've even managed a pub lunch with the baby in the wrap - with a carefully placed napkin, I managed a couple of hours without her stirring. It is a very long piece of material which makes it awkward to wrap but once you get the hang of it it's not difficult to tie, I just needed practice with the tension - either having it too tight to get the baby in or too loose so she sagged in it - looking at yourself putting it on in a mirror really helps get it right. For me this is a must have piece of equipment.

Both my 3 month old and myself love this wrap. We have already tried a 'crotch dangler' type structured baby carrier which she absolutely hated. We wish we found it sooner! She is so content in it and settles in it when nothing else works! She even stays asleep when I remove her from it. The baby's weight is really evenly distributed across my back and shoulders. It is really the best type of baby carrier for a new born and once they are in the hug hold it holds their legs in the frog position which is the best way for babies. I also loved the colour and the closeness that you experience with your baby. The price is also very reasonable and it was delivered very promptly.I will definately be using this with my next baby from day 1!The only reason that I didn't give it 5 stars was simply a personal thing. Because the wrap is so long it is impossible to put it on without it trailing on the ground. I just put it on at home and left it on while out and about, but that's just the nature of wrap baby carriers. Love it

I cannot recommend this enough. It was worth every penny I have used it so much. I bought it when my son was 5 months old but wish I'd bought it when he was a new born as I think he'd have loved it from the beginning.I use it to walk my dogs on rugged land, but I Also use it when I don't want the hassle of the pushchair and I use it for breast feeding and in supporting his weight. He loves it and snuggles down and almost always has a nice sleep. It makes him feel much lighter than he actually is. He weights over 20 lb now and I'm still happily carrying him in it. It holds him really close to my body, it's so intimate and close.Love this so much. It doesn't look worn at all and still works perfectly. The beauty is that one size fits all. My husband wears it, I do. And once you know how it works it's so easy to put on. Moby have videos to show you how to put it on and send you a fab booklet too.

I bought this wrap to wear my 3-month old baby, weighing around 6 kgs and it is very comfortable, holds well, and baby loves it, too. He falls asleep in it within minutes if he is close to his naptime, otherwise he is happy riding in it and looking around. I usually support his neck with my hand when he's asleep and I'm walking with a good pace. Otherwise hands free. Excellent quality fabric, very comfortable to wear and baby loves it as well. The length is good enough for larger sizes as well. I have tried different wraps before, which were mostly 95% cotton and 5% spandex, but this 100% cotton fabric seems to be the right material for the purpose. I probably wouldn't use it in a very hot climate, but it is quite suitable for the 20-25 degrees we're having now.

I am in love with the Moby wrap! It is so easy to use once you have the hang of it and my six month old son, who always wants to be carried, loves it too as I can wear him facing out to the world satisfying his curiosity, at least for a while. I did not think much to the instructions that came with the product however a quick search on youtube came up with many helpful mums sharing their tips on using it. My son seems comfy and so am I, his weight is spread evenly over my back and I have found that I am quite comfortable even after over an hour of walking with him in the wrap. I have also managed to have him facing towards me whilst asleep and gone shopping, he didn't wake so he must have been quite happy.I highly recommend the Moby Wrap.

I really like this carrier/wrap. It is soft and comfortable to wear. I use it indoors as well as out and can do lots of things around the house hands-free as the baby is wrapped close to my body with no head-swinging . This is the fourth type of carrier i have tried (including baby bjorn and the ring type slings) and I find this much the best. You can even put the baby in a cradle hold and his head is held securely - perfect for newborns and my back is still okay! There are various different holds described in the full colour booklet that comes with the wrap and mine is a lovely soft lilac colour that goes with all my clothes! As a mother of six,I just wish I'd found this wrap when I'd had my first baby!

Tricky to get the hang of this (YouTube has some good instructional videos or go to a local baby wearing meeting) but when you do it's fab. My little one would grumble each time I'd pop her in but as soon as I started moving she'd be fast asleep and seemed so snug and cosy. Don't forget to tailor what clothes they are wearing to the weather as they'll have an additional double layer of jersey fabric around them with this. This will be a godsend if I have another baby so I can still be hands free with my toddler. It's washed really well and hasn't lost any elasticity either. It's on loan to a friend with a newborn at the moment, just wish my little one hadn't out grown it!

This is a brilliant wrap, I had the close one with my last child, and i've currently got two baby bjorn ones (original and comfort). My baby was too heavy in the original from 1 month!! it hurt my shoulders, but he was too young for the comfort, so I purchased this and to my amazement its better than the baby bjorns. My baby has reflux so really helps and he sleeps in it for hours. It is so easy to put on and my baby is now 15 weeks gets excited when he sees me put it on. He feels much lighter in this as the weight is distrubused evenly. The higher up he is the more secure and lighter he feels too. I only wish i had this for my daughter rather than the close one

I got this when my baby daughter was 3 weeks old and would cry constantly unless held. It was a godsend. I would strap her in and be able to do a few things handsfree as she would be gently rocked to sleep. I was apprehensive about how easy it would be to use but after a couple of attempts it was abs. fine. You can leave it on and take baby in and out which is useful. Also, you can't use some of the firmer baby carriers unless the baby is a certain weight-my daughter was 6lb 1oz at birth so a cloth based sling was the only option.Dont know how it compares to other wraps but certainly did the job for me....

I used this wrap all the time when my baby was younger- the holds are not at all complicated- you just need to check what you're doing in front of a mirror the first few times - then you can do it with your eyes closed! I still use it now - even though my baby is 11kgs+ ....it's the only baby carrier to not give me backache afterwards, because the weight of the child is evenly distributed over your shoulders and back. I love the colour, too - same as the picture. It washes well and dries fairly quickly. I would definitely recommend it.

I chose this wrap from Moby because out of all of the wraps available out there, this one looked the most comfortable for BOTH mom and baby. The fabric is lovely and soft and the color is fabulous. It just feels more natural than the baby carriers out there with loads of straps and buckles on them. It's hard to wrap following the paper instructions included with the wrap, but go online to Moby's website where they have videos that show you exactly how to wrap it up. Very pleased with mine and I can't wait to use it - 3 weeks to go!!

I adore this wrap. I wish i had bought it when i had my first child. It is such a better fit than the regular baby slings on the market. It doesnt cut into your shoulders, its so comfortable it can be worn for hours. It hold your baby so close it doesnt really feel as though you are carrying extra weight. The only downside is that the material is a bit long. I am only 5ft 1 so a smaller size would be good.I still love it and have told friends about it

7.3.2013

I used a few times. I liked to put my newborn in a laydown position and this one is allow to do that. but later I find it a bit fiddly to put on quickly and it is surpisingly heavy material. I only use this if I have to go on for a difficult places like lots of stairs, it is for me is not replace a good push chair.if you want a sling this is a good one but if you think about use this instead of a pushchair ( like some internet site suggests) don't.

This wrap is the ideal way for me to keep my baby close. It really helps me care for my baby while having my hands available for other things. Much more importantly, my baby loves it. She sleeps well in it, it helps her digestion &, when she's crying, it's the very best way to comfort and calm her. With a bit of help from the instruction leaflet that comes with it, it's very straightforward to use, very portable and just all round lovely.
