haven't used the reel yet but feels robust enough for the job. its made in china, but isn't everything these days so can't be compared to my beloved mitchell 410's, but for corrosive sea water should do the job brilliantly for the price.The spool is pre-loaded with line which i hate as nylon does deteriorate, but the big positive which isn't mentioned in the description is the spare spool, great when you consider the price of the reel.So very satisfied

The fishing reel was brilliant and everything it was supposed to be. A bit disappointed with the packaging as it was squashed into the box which was very tatty and, as it was a gift, looked as if it could have been picked up from a car boot sale. Delivery was prompt and arrived sooner than expected so on balance I was pleased with the item.

Why do reel manufacturers (this is not the first) assume you know all about reels and don't need operating instructions?I have just guessed how to use it, and it seems to be working OK, but I do not know how to change the spool!

Delivered as expexted Good value for money. Leisure fishing. No hard core fishing. I doubt it would up to hardcore wear and tear. I guess time will tell.

lovely smooth action great reel have just started sea fishing again after 35 years Mitchell I was told were good reels so I bought this one glad I did

Big hefty beach casting reeel/pier reel. I have 2, which have put up with me, friends and the kids using and abusing, great rod, cheap but lasts.

I have not yet used the product but it seems fine and very good value for the price paid !!!!
