The 3 arm rotary drier is sturdily made and goes together quite easily. It's just a case of putting the two halves of the pole together. In this case it is a plastic insert, between the two halves that holds it all together. It remains to be seen just how sturdy this "plug" will be and how long it will last in my garden, which always seems to be buffeted by the wind. The "rotary" action on mine seems to be quite sluggish and stiff - the drier doesn't rotate as much or, as fast as my old drier. However, with a good load of washing on the drier, in quite strong winds, I am pleased to report that initially, my drier has proven itself to be really quite strong. It has remained upright and not bent with the strain.I've given four stars only because the rotary action on my drier is stiff. If it rotated more freely, I would have given a full five stars.Overall though, I consider this product to be well made and reasonably priced - a value for money purchase.

Well, I'm glad i ignored some of the reviews as it's an excellent product and so easy to assemble.I also purchased the ground spike (£7.99) - the 32mm one, to knock into the ground as didn't want to dig the lawn up and add concrete. (It only comes with the plastic tube that has to be set in concrete) -Once knocked into the ground, it provides more than enough support for the washing line. -you'll need a big hammer though - and you'll need to put some wood on top of the spike and hit that with the hammer! Takes quite a few hits which is good as it means it's nice and secure. Excellent price too.

I downsized from a four arm, heavy duty rotary to this three and wasn't looking forward to it However, this line went up so easily; the tension on the cord is controllable, so far, win win.It easily holds three loads of washing, turns in a breeze smoothly and lifts out of the hole for storage. The only thing that I wasn't happy about was the push lever that closes the line. It needs a firm grip and push which I was unable to do and needed assistance with. Overall, I'm very happy with it.

The description claims easy, one handed operation to put up. This is absolutely untrue! In fact, I find it a struggle, having to hold the pole in place in the socket with my knees, while wrestling with both hands to get it to clip in place. This is after making sure the lines are not tangled, and will open smoothly. I can only hope the mechanism will become easier with use. Otherwise, this is the perfect size line. I didn't use the silly plastic socket included, but bought a decent metal one.

I’ve never had to assemble a rotary airer before. I followed the instructions but found I wasn’t strong enough to insert the lower pole! Luckily my neighbour had a chap visiting and after trying to insert it like me, he turned the top upside down and the lower pole slid down into the top easily. Relieved! It is easy to erect. Taller than my previous one, in the same sturdy base.

Got this line to replace a 13 year old one with a hook type catch that was always a bit awkward to put up and eventually impossible.I liked the look of the described easy to use mechanism on this and so far am not disappointed, seems to work well. The claimed 3 load capacity is pushing it though,. 2 would be more realistic. On the whole it's well enough made and I'm happy with it.

This washing line is perfect for me, I can reach all the 'outside' lines, as being only 5'2" some are too high. The line folds up, and folds down with ease, with no tangling of the lines. The only downside is the included 'ground-spike' which is only a short piece of plastic tubing. I bought a Minky ground-spike, and that supports the line perfectly.

My washing line broke and I needed a new one quickly. Did click and collect for following day which was excellent. A lot of the washing lines I looked at had a much larger turning circle which I didn’t want. This one despite being smaller so taking up less space has lots of line length to hang plenty of clothes. Easy to put up and down too.

If you are looking for a well designed rotary airer that is easy to instal and simple to use, this is the item for you. The pole comes in two halves making it easy to store the too half without constantly removing the whole pole which leaves the ground spike open to fill up with water or dirt. Nice design and handy for confined spaces.

Very pleased with this Outdoor Washing Line. It is strong and well made. Has been tested in strong winds recently. Opens and closes easily - unlike some. Put away in shed after use and not heavy but weighty enough i.e. it has substance. Single middle pole i.e. not in 2 halves as some are. Just what we needed in our small garden.

Good line unit, easy assemble, takes a lot of washing, stores clipped in and with cover over is neat & tidy.Easy to push up with sturdy locking sleeve with push button release for lowering. Arrived as promised, well packed, recommend. Purchased with ground spear which I have already reviewed, both go very well together

Don't forget to buy a spike if you do not want to concrete this into the ground as there is not one supplied with the product. The lift mechanism was a little stiff to start with making it very difficult to erect the line but has become easier with use. It is very sturdy and perfect for my needs (a household of 2)

It's good quality, good height. The string/plastic is a bit stretchy but I that's pretty normal. I found the pole bit a bit awkward to assemble (as others have commented), I just ended up removing one of the plastic bits to make it slot together. Seems to work ok, I just have to be careful when I push it up.

It is good value for money but not as sturdy as I would have liked. It looks good but the line is a bit slack which leads me to believe it won’t be long before I have to replace it again. Three people in our household-I wouldn’t recommend it for a family larger than that.

Great quality for the price, delivery was quick. The only thing I struggled with is when you push the lever up to open it ....you have to give it a good push for it to catch and stay open. I’m sure this is because it’s new and will get easier the more it’s used.
