I'd not really heard of Miller Harris previously, other than that for reasons I can't fathom, I know that Samantha Cameron presented a bottle of their perfume to Michelle Obama on a presidential visit to the UK. My vague notion that Miller Harris are a 'posh' perfume brand was reinforced when my wife saw the bottle, and said "Miller Harris? That's very posh". The price is also a giveaway!Fortunately, my wife also likes the perfume. It's well-presented with a subtle floral design on the bottom, and the scent itself is very pleasant; I don't know about the claims in the product description that it evokes the seashore, but it's quite citrusy, and the scent seems to last a while.

I would usually be very cynical about the type of language used in the text for this perfume, but I find I have to agree with them on this occasion! This is a delightful fragrance that smells nice on me, but utterly delicious on my wife. It really does smell very different on each of us. On me, the citrus notes are more noticeable, whereas on my wife's skin, the bergamot is the uppermost scent.My wife has three or four perfumes that she loves and is very choosey about scent, but she has added this to her collection with pleasure. She finds the scent quite subtle but very calming, with a clean, slightly floral, feminine note above a more earthy underlying herbal note.Yes this is pricey,

I normally prefer a stronger scent to this, particularly in the Winter months when I use something heavier than the fruity/citrus fragrances that I use in the Spring/Summer. I've seen other people compare it to CK One and I can see why that is, it's certainly not overpowering but provides enough of a background aroma that it can be worn pretty much for any kind of formal/informal occasion, as it's not going to be a dominating assault on anyone's senses. I could imagine that both men or woman could use this, but I think it will probably be favoured by anyone who might want something to wear that doesn't clash with other products they might be wearing on themselves at the time.

Top notes are distinctly citrus and bergamot, which gives it an immediate liveliness. It settles to a middle and lasting base note that is predominantly vanilla, but retains hints of lemon. I don’t fully get the marine vibe that the brand claims from this scent, but there’s a definite freshness overall, so I guess it’s not beyond imagination. The fruitiness of the blend makes it something of a younger choice.Being a parfum it does have very good longevity. I’ve detected the scent in the evening, having applied just a few sprays in the early morning. It achieves this staying power without ever being overpowering in the first instance, which is a rare, valuable attribute.

I'd not heard of Miller Harris and neither had my wife. She tends to have three or four favorites that I tend to get her on her birthday, Christmas and our wedding anniversary.She was eager to try this particulaly when she saw the price. Makes a nice change to rhose perfumes from Savers, she tells me!As for the perfume itself - and this my, a middle aged man's view - it is presented nicely in it's box and the fragrance is very pleasant and very...English, I would say. The smell lasts a good while and is very fresh and crisp. Flowery in a way but not too overpowering.A gentle, long lasting fragrance. Worth the money? That's up to you.

A light and refreshing fragrance in a well designed easy to use spray bottle. See product description for the list of different fragrances, but I reckoned it smelt of forest and citrus.I don't pretend to understand the difference between value and expensive perfumes, but this one smells very nice. Miller Harris is a new name to me - I hadn't heard of them before. The fragrance is fresh and modern, it is gentle and doesn't overpower. I love it. Edit... Have since bought 3 more bottles of this delicious fragrance. Edit 2 - and now a fourth!

I have to be frank, £95 for a fragrance is absolute daylight robbery. I had not heard of the Miller Harris brand before and the fragrance is not what I would normally choose, but it is growing on me. At first spray I am taken back to the days when the world and his wife was spraying themselves with CK One; it's light and citrusy but after an hour or so the bourbon vanilla, tobacco and tonka bean base notes come to the nose. This 100ml bottle will last a long time, and I have high hopes that the eau de parfum will last the day on me too.

Beautifully packaged as you would expect from an expensive scent. At first use the scent is crisp and citrussy, just my kind of smell. After a while, however, the scent changes and deepens from the warmth of your body and a more musky scent comes through. I was driving and, therefore, in a small enclosed space and I found it a bit much and cloying.Reviewing a perfume is difficult as we all have different tastes and anither person might love this perfume, and probably will. Sadly, not for me which is a shame

A classy, long lasting fragrance with a citrus scent that isn't too overpowering. The price is a little steep for what you're getting, but sometimes it's nice to say "to hell with the expense", and I think this bottle qualifies. Suitable for men as well as women, this perfume is topped off with elegant packaging that helps make this a beautiful gift for a loved one.

This is a light wearable scent, suitable for men and women. It has light, fresh and citrus high notes, with—like other Miller Harris scents—an earthy undertone. It has a surprising but strangely familiar feel. Definitely recommended for everyday use, and a safe bet as a fine gift.
