So we bought this after getting the Miele Blizzard CX1 with the standard head attachment. Whilst the vaccume was on full power it was almost impossible to use properly due to sticking to the carpet, it also failed to pull up any significant amount of pet hair from rugs or the carpet.After switching to this turbo attachment it's made vaccuming the house light work. We have the company of a husky / collie cross and a tabby cat both of which shed ungodly amounts of hair in the springtime. After using this attachment for the first time it was surprising just how dirty our carpets really were, multiple loads full to the bin and we've got lovely looking carpets again.

This is the second turbo head I have for my Miele vacuum cleaners. One upstairs, one down. This is a later model than my first purchase. I would say the suction is marginally better and from the look of the thing, one can see it is ‘updated’ in appearance and hopefully in technology! As other Reviewers have mentioned, it is not the easiest head to clean but as Miele is a very ‘high end’ company one has to assume this is the best they can do, probably because the drive belt has to be attached around the roller. Personally, I did not find it any more difficult to clean than its predecessor, contrary to one Reviewer. I have very long hair and a long coated German Shepherd Dog. Yes,

I have long hair blonde hair that forms an impenetrable spider web across the carpet. My husband has long, dark, curly hair that also forms an impenetrable spider web on the carpet. He also creates a lot of black sock fluff. Oh, I forgot to mention, we have a long haired cat and a short haired cat. Our carpet is HARD to hoover, and we have the pet hair miele.I should have bought this attachment years ago, it's amazing. Rather than knock yourself out going over the same patch of carpet over and over and over and over again and then over again some more - just to try to shift some sock fluff and cat hair. Just buy this. Buy this immediately. Yes, you have to use scissors to clean it up after use,

Why this doesn’t come as standard with all Miele vacuum cleaners I don’t know, oh I do know, cost!!This isn’t cheap but wow it makes such a difference when using the vacuum. It actually cleans the carpet and picks up all those bits of black fluff/lint that comes off socks these days, you know the stuff little black bits of cotton that stick like glue to the damn carpet.Makes vacuuming a much more pleasurable experience and you can see where it’s been. My landing carpet has “lawn style” stripes on it after vacuuming with this.Very happy.

What difference this turbo brush head makes to my Miele Compact C1 vacuum cleaner! Why does Miele insist on you having to buy this as an accessory??? The standard head simply does a terrible job on carpets, pushing in the dirt. The turbo brush makes a massive difference in the pile - you can feel it has been raised. Picks up my wife’s hair (!) and flush. Only problem with that, is that you have to physically remove the hair and fluff wound around the axle. But that is a minor irritation. Very pleased with my vacuum now!

this turbo tool is a must for anyone who has carpet in their homes. just when I thought my carpets looked clean with the straight suction heard, this turbo tool showed just how much was actually left in the carpet. it left my carpets looking nice and groomed. also I found that this turbo tool is much more improved than the previous turbo tool from Miele. this one constantly keeps spinning. and doesn't slow down, even when on thick pile carpet, like some other turbo tools. would definitely recommend!

It makes a hell of a difference.Tackles pet hair with ease. Even on the max setting you can still feel the powerful suction but it is still easy to push.I don't have any problem with my cats' hair being wrapped in the brush roll but I suppose it all depends on kind of hair. It's true, you cannot easily clean it so if you have some long hair to clean up it just might not be right for you.For my two cats' hair it works great.

I bought a Miele vacuum cleaner after reading a Which report. I was initially very disappointed as it struggled to remove dog hairs from the carpet. This attachment though made a massive difference making the vacuum cleaner the best we have ever owned. For information; if the spinning mechanism stops check to see if the bag is full. You can still feel real suction through the nozzle but the brushes stop spinning.

Great for picking up pet hair. Unfortunately, the hairs just get stuck on the roller which then entails cleaning the roller. This is a dirty procedure. The areas of the house that the dog does not go in the product works as it should. The search for a pet hair cleaning head that can get the hair into the receptacle and not just wound around the roller will be a godsend.

Really pleased with this excellent brush head. Clears hairs and dust easily from all kinds of surfaces. The changeable airflow control is a useful added feature of the redesigned model.As always with Miele products it is very well made and robust, however, somewhat debatable whether the price offers ‘good value’.

We nearly ditched our Complete C3 Silence Ecoline after 2 weeks because it was so hard to use on a carpet. This is 100% compatible and is the head that this cleaner should come with. The kids have just lost the only excuse they had to not do the hoovering!

Four stars because it is much harder to clean hairs and threads from. In the original head you can disassemble the head to clean it: this one can’t be disassembled. Otherwise really excellent, significantly better than the standard attachment.

I wanted this attachment for years but the high price put me off, I swear by miele vacuums so decided to bite the bullet and I'm glad I did its brilliant on carpets and rugs, just keep your bags and filters clean to improve the performance

This is exactly what I was looking for. As a cleaner I want and need products that are going to make my job easier while still giving 100% when it comes to the overall clean. This is great on carpets in homes with pets. Highly recommend

Makes a huge difference.Suction is really strong as it sticks to carpets but it is still easy to push. Removes cat hair with ease.It is not really good on hard floors but it is not what its designed for so no surprise.
