Scout is amazing, if you have mostly hard floors, you're able to keep floors clear and willing to properly clean him out between floors... Then he's priceless.We have three floors, mostly laminate wood. Dust accumulates on these within a day if you get down level and look across it, leave it two you'll see some small bundles of dust, three or more and you're talking dust tumbleweeds... Scout gobbles these up no problem. And we're clean tidy people. We have a little carpet, landings and toilets, it does a good job on these too and transitions well over small bumps.We send him around every two days and thoroughly clean him between runs. Couldn't live without it.

I have owned my Scout for a week, when i first set it going I was disappointed with the results on the carpets but had done a great job on all the hard floors. A week on, with using scout daily the carpets are clean, so glad I gave it a chance (the build up of not having vacuum for a week took some tackling). Pros... quiet, easy to empty, picks up pet hair, doesn't bash furniture, easy to use. Cons... doesn't fit between chair legs (under kitchen table), doesn't fit between wc and wall, needed to rearrange furniture in lounge to allow it get in all areas, sticks out from wall quite far when on base.Overall i'm very pleased, the pro's far out way the cons.

The place looks a lot better after it has run and it picks up a lot of fluff and stuff. It is very quiet compared to another robot I had and standard Dyson/Hoover etc noise. It has a very idiosyncratic movement pattern, taking a long time going round and round in short movements.Loads to question but it does have good battery life, quiet operation and carpets and floors look a lot better then before with minimal effort.Not at all perfect and very expensive, but it is quiet, fun and does the regular well enough.

Great product. Got my parents one and it is fantastic so I bought one for myself as well. We have a dog and it is so handy to run every other day so now here is never fluff around the house. Does a great job on different surfaces and it ists pretty quiet. I really like it!

I like it but don't understand how it works. It works but then decides to stop without having finished. Will have to go to the Miele centre to find out more
