The most powerful console of the current gen, but the horrendous UI and relatively poor reliability let it down. The boxes aren't returns / opened. Instead the console is manufactured as standalone in the normal green box. To add a game bundle the box is opened, and the key(s) are added to a special sleeve right at the top. A sleeve is then added around the box and the stickers re-applied.As a games console the Xbox One X is the best if you need 4K and VRR. But if you're not so fussed about the best graphics a PS4 / PS4 Pro is a better option. The hardware and build quality of the Xbox is definitely better, Microsoft's engineers have done a fantastic job and it's silent too. However,the software and 'addons' let the side down. The controllers don't have a battery built-in, so you need to either buy the Play and Charge kit or go aftermarket. You'll also want an external hard drive since every game forces an install of some kind, you're looking at an average of 50-60GB or so per game.Software-wise you're looking at hefty downloads and installs. Bear this in mind if you're playing at a peak time (black Friday / Christmas) since speeds will be severely reduced and you won't be playing for 4+ hours. MS have taken the worst aspects of PC gaming and made them 10x worse, it's actively hostile to letting you play the game disc you just bought. The install / update process is also somewhat error prone and can stop or fail randomly without you knowing. The store is equally user hostile by blaring game trailers prior to even seeing the game listing, the audio is at least 2x as loud as all other sounds so you'll be deafened while waiting for the UI to load up to even show the price... Fortunately you can turn the auto-play off, but it resets with each update because why not?Additionally, the UI is generally awful to use, difficult to find anything and obtuse. Games can fail to launch and then just end up in a weird frozen state. General crashes happen from time to time, and so on. It's not good enough given the fixed hardware should make things much easier.However, all of that said as a games console it's still good. It's silent when playing games and there's a built-in UHD Blu-Ray drive. Newer additions such as VRR support substantially improve the gaming experience by smoothing out frame delivery resulting in even low framerates appearing extremely smooth. As the most powerful console it comes closest to 4K resolutions in game, and usually has the best framerates. This is further improved with exceptional backwards compatibility. You can play most of your old games at higher resolutions (often real 4K!) with smoother framerates. Being able to play your entire backlog with improvements like you can with PC is fantastic and shouldn't be underestimated. The fact that the next Xbox will continue this means you have a very solid upgrade path. With Sony you never know if you'll get it, and if/when they'll remove the functionality.In short fantastic hardware, let down by questionable software but possibly made up for with backwards compatibility.

I've owned one since Black Friday 2018, where I got the console, plus Red Dead Redemption 2, Forza Horizon 4 and Forza Motorsport 7 for £340 from a competing retailer. It was an incredible deal, for a great upgrade on my ageing Day One Xbox console. It's been a solid purchase, and the hardware is quiet and compact. The controllers are a nice upgrade from Day One 'creaky' efforts too, with a nice build quality.The main driver for the sale for me was the upgrades for most games, including the back catalogue of XB 360 games. I went all in with a 4K HDR TV too, which really makes the upgrade stand out with HDR processing, making darks darker and whites whiter. However,a 4K TV isn't necessary to get the best out of the console, because it provides upgrades regardless of the type of TV you have, via either performance 60hz or 4K fidelity modes for most new games.I suppose the main reason for writing this review now is for people who are coming in at the tail end of this generation, who may look at the prices and balk at the idea of paying more than I did, two years down the line. I get it - it should be cheaper, but the fact is that Microsoft have discontinued the entire range of Xbox One consoles and they are now disappearing from stock, yet are still in high demand because of the pandemic.Another reason they are more expensive is because Microsoft announced that they would be releasing all of their upcoming games from the next two years (until 2022) on the previous consoles, which a lot of fanboys on either side of the fence have decried because it appears to have somewhat devalued the proposition of the next generation console, the Xbox Series X when it releases in November 2020. However, this is great news for people who aren't fussed about the latest and greatest hardware and just want to play games, because there will be new blockbuster titles still available to buy a fair bit down the line.

Mine came with a dent in the box and all the stickers where sliced open. Nothing was taken from the inside but I have a friend who works for an online retailer and he says they do this on limited edition items so the buyer can't profit from it on ebay by selling it as new and sealed. Not sure how true this is but I wouldn't put it past them. Just makes me more likely to go to a store and pick up any future console myself. That was if the seals are broken I will request a sealed one before I even leave the store. The console itself though is the best xbox console I've ever seen. The detail is amazing, and the fact that it comes with the game is a bonus. I'm very happy with this bundle.These companies need to get a grip though with the cutting seals. Not all of us a profiting and some people may want to collect and keep the system sealed. When I but a new console, if it has been sealed by the manufacturer then I expect to receive it sealed. Just to note though, I bought my console from Argos not Amazon. But it seems like the same issues where happening at Amazon too looking at the reviews.

1st review , 1star : Amazon.co.uk retailer during official release of this limited editionWhen the console was release on Amazon.co.uk, it was priced £309 instead of £259, in opposite to all others Amazon platforms (France, Germany, Spain, Italy) shown the official price €299.I reached Amazon.co.uk CS, and it was their usual answers "We provided a feedback to the related team, and it has been escalated" (not my 1st time with this answer, so translation : Nothing will happen).Also the delay was extremely long ! I cancelled my order and take one at Gamestop at £259 and receive it during the week (so 10days earlier than Amazon)2nd review : Xbox One X Cyberpunk Punk limited editionVery well made,good quality, and the design is just awesome ! Probably one of my favourite limited edition console.I expected something in kind of "very plastic", but it looks better in real than the photos! The texture, shape, every details was well thinking ! I don't say it everyday, but this time Microsoft did a great job.

Arrived in original box with seals unbroken. Upgraded from my original xbox one to the X and was blown away by the difference in both graphics and performance. I have gone from having lacklustre connection in multiplayer to ridiculous levels of connection speed. I was getting anywhere from 15mbps-80mbps with the original xbox one. Now with the X I'm getting upwards of 215mbps, I hit 405mbps last night. The improvement in graphic capability is significant too, seeing things in modern warfare that were not there with the one. Textures and small hairline cracks in walls to name just one. Things look like you could just grab them off the screen. Is it with buying in 2020, absolutely in my opinion.The series X will be expensive at launch, and games will take a while to fully utilise the new tech in the series X. Also the X is super quiet when running, even when loading a disc up.

Another beautiful Limited Edition and the last Xbox one X consoles in production.Awesome design, nice start up and shut down sounds very sci fi.When you open the box please dont worry when you do not find your cyberpunk game code.There isnt one. When you boot your console it just knows and allows you to claim the game on set up :) a great way to stop thefts out of the box of game codes :)xWhisper silent console.The control pad design is wonderful a real send off to a great console.The xbox one x will be supported for a few years yet as it will be able to play all xbox games coming out.This sold out so fast and mine came with a dented ripped box,so no way of replacing it so amazon was awesome and compensated for that.Cyberpunk 2077 game will be out in september and will auto download to your console for free.This was awesome. Well done to the designers.

The main reason for writing this review is to explain the seals being broken. I do have this bundle, purchased from elsewhere which had the seals broken and when purchasing the original Xbox One Titanfall bundle, I had the same issue and assumed it was a returned item until doing a bit of digging.When creating the bundles they take a standard Xbox, open it up, add the codes and put the bundle sleeve over the original box and then add new seals. This is a really poor way of doing it as most people understandably assume these are now customer returns which of course they still could be but most likely it's just because they have created the bundle.This should be explained somewhere.The One X is a worthy upgrade over the original Xbox One.

I purchased this XBOX when it was on an amazing offer, at £310 (when it's all worth £500). The package included a limited-edition Xbox One X Cyberpunk Edition, with a Cyberpunk themed Xbox One controller and a digital copy of Cyberpunk 2077 which has been pre-downloaded onto my Xbox. Upon it's release date, the game will be automatically installed onto the console, ready to play. Other than it being limited edition and looking much cooler than any other Xbox One X out there, it performs the same (though it does make a different noise when you turn it on/off). You also get a nice mint/turquoise coloured HDMI cable with it which doesn't change anything, but the colour is cool.

The console is great it looks amazing, so glad I managed to find one before they sold out. I've got it for displaying on a shelf along with the controller and stand from controller gear. The only problem I have is that I got mine from argos for £260 but im seeing it on here between £300 or £400 and on ebay upto £500. I hate that there's people out there who buy these consolles not to have them cos they like hem but so they can sell them on at a ridiculous price. So I guess there will be some people out there who wanted one but can't cos some idiot with no actual interest wanted to make a quick buck. I hope no one buys it at this price cos its ridiculous.

I"ve always preferred the Sony PS controller... so its was with some reluctance that I made the switch to xbox.... but its a nice console...great graphics...decent frame rates and great game library BECAUSE YOU CAN PLAY BACKWARD COMPATIBLE XBOX 360 GAMES...( the list is ever growing ). so dig out your classics or fire up the new stuff... with simple screen capture mode. if you prefer the SONY controller you can use the BROOKS GAME CONTROLLER SUPER CONVERTER ( get the correct one X1-RD ) think RD stands for red... mine's red... ps3/ps4 xbox one controller adapter... never had mapping issue new or classics... just been a plug and play experience for me.

I bought this as an upgrade from the original Xbox One so I could start gaming in 4K and I do not regret it, it's a fantastic console. It's much faster than the orignal, allowing quicker transitions between different aspects of the Xbox software and it significantly improves the graphics of games. It is also incredibly quiet. Apart from a slightly louder whirring when running certain games, generally you forget that you've turned it on. All in all I would recommend buying an Xbox One X if you want to upgrade from an older version or if it's your first time playing Xbox, especially in these times of lockdown.

As above I’m happy with it but I brought mine second had very good conndition for a good price as to be honest I think £450 new is a bit much. One thing I don’t like about it is you need to buy an extra add on so you can use your connetics. Even though I never really used mine on Xbox one I think the extra add on should be included with the machine - robbing gitts ! Anyway I’m only happy as I brought mine for just over £300 & it came with one game wireless controller boxed & was the 1tb version so yes well happy but I would not have paid full price as I think it’s too much

It connected to my Virgin superhub without any issues.It's quiet on full speed ahead, and Starwars looks fantastic and runs super smooth as does Forza Horizon.Great price atm and I'm not disappointed.

Not much to say about this really. First new console I've had in a while and admittedly it was a lockdown purchase as I was bored. The strange thing about this listing though is that the box had previously been bought by someone else who had seemingly got it just for the game code and then returned it. I'm guessing that they sold it on for profit or that they saw it as a way to get a "free" game (a lot of effort for one game though).Anyway, apart from that everything was in great condition and I have had no problems with the console itself.

Pros's. Great graphics. best ive ever had.. fast and quiet, every feature is better than ever or all previous consoles ..Con's. Heat. The units do put some heat out , quite a lot after about 6 hours of continuous use it was hot enough to turn its self off a couple time Do DO get a fan for the rear of the console. I put one on and since then ive had no further issues its a powerful unit and will make heat ... especially use ing 4G
