I have used two non-Microsoft pens on my surface pro. This is without a doubt far more comfortable and superior than either of those. I am a teacher working online during covid-19 lockdown and I have to mark onto pdfs of my students work. The other pens were tricky, I kept accidentally pressing the buttons on the side. This has one button on the side but I have not had that problem. I love the rubber at the end of this like a normal pencil, I don’t have to switch to eraser, just flick over the pen and use the other end, so much quicker. The weight of the pen is so much better too, I usually use a fountain pen and it is a similar weight so feels more natural.

Really disappointed that this isn't included with the surface book 2 but oh well.Pairs really fast and the battery seems to last forever (the level can be seen in the settings menu).The accuracy and latency are slightly worse than the apple pencil but you can't code on an iPad so this was my only option as a computer science student.Also when using OneNote with the pen, you cant use the pressure sensitivity at the smallest pen size in the software so you have to use the next size up which then makes you use a more spaced outlined background (this took me forever to figure out what was going on).Microsoft please include this in future surface computers and please drop the price £~100 is crazy

If I'm honest, the Bluetooth functionality of this pen saves little time, especially when all the features are available after a short tap on the taskbar, but it's a nice feature. The pen function itself is extremely accurate, arguably comparable to writing with a real pen. It goes without saying that this pen works best with the Surface series of products, but I do believe it will work with other computers that support Pen input. You may, however, be better looking into a pen that is slightly cheaper. With this device, you are truly paying for the reliability of Surface.

I wondered why this was cheaper than the other surface pens sold. The product code is different EYV-00010 instead of EYU-00010. It's sold by Amazon, so I doubt it's fake. The package states model No: 1776. Haven't been able to find out much online regarding different product codes. I just got it today and so far it seems to work OK, tilt shading works on my surface pro 6. I will report back once I have had it for a week. Until then, I will leave a rating of 1 star.* Update, is the original thing and a bargain at £60. Works well.

Bought this product so I can use it with my Surface Pro 6 and it has been great. Allows me to write my uni notes really easily. However the bib of the pen has seemed to bend and it is not straight. Considering it has only been a few months old I am disappointed with this. I can buy a new pack of nibs from Microsoft however I shouldn’t need to spend extra when I have spend £60 in the first place. Apart from this the product is good for uni students looking to take notes on their surface pro product.

Accurate and pressure sensitive pen which works perfectly on my Surface Pro 3 (minus the shading capability when you lean the pen which isn't supported).It feels solid in the hand and not too heavy to write with. The soft rubber tip makes it feel more natural than I was expecting; not quite like paper but maybe halfway there.It's a little pricey for what it is and sadly doesn't have a erase button along the edge so you have to flip the pen to erase which, although intuitive, is annoying.

It took literally a couple of seconds to pair, did not have to connect to any port, only put the tip of the pen to the screen, and after a couple of seconds it was ready to use. I use it on a Surface Go, it is fast and responsive enough. Compared to the 2018 iPad, I think this combo is much better, feels more premium and natural to use than the iPad and Apple Pencil. Also sticks excellently to my Surface Go and does not feel loose.

Coupled with my newly purchased SP6, the Surface Pen provides the full Surface experience. I used this pen daily for 2-4 hours, and it provides the best note taking experience that is right up there with the iPad (with more functionality). Only down point is mine stopped functioning out of the blue. Microsoft have exchanged for a brand new pen with no quarrels within 7 days even with Christmas and New Year right in the middle!

The Surface Pen has great build quality and functions well as expected. All its promised functions works well. I find to like the bluetooth functions with the eraser button, one thing my Hp Pen didn't have. At first I thought buying the Surface Pen at around £75 is at least a slightly better price than its usual £100 tag, but I think the investment was worth it for my experience so far.

I thought i dropped my pen in the car in a stop in austria and only realised after, i thought i lost it and was sad, 3 days later in north of italy i found it stuck to the outer body of the car thanks to the magnet.This pen survived from austria going to the highway crossing the border to italy and climbing 2000m from sea level and still managed to hol itself to the car an work

This is my second pen and I don't know why but it is lighter and made with a slightly different coating to my other pen. This one is platinum and my other one is burgundy. This one is lighter and with the coating it is so easy to hold and to use, an absolute delight. While the burgundy one is heavier and is super gloss which means it keeps sliding in your hand.

I knew what I was getting from the start: A very well made bit of kit that complements my Surface Book 2 perfectly. VFM; it's going to be expensive, however, cheaper than the high street and way less expensive than from Microsoft. As for delivery time; I ordered late and receive it next day, and that was without Prime. All-in-all a very happy customer.

The pen didn't automatically pair with my Surface 6, as the notice said it should, but there was no problem pairing using the "Add Bluetooth Device" in Settings.The Sketch app works well for drawing, and the handwriting is pretty fast. I'm handwriting this review.l don't know why this pen is cheaper than the others - but I'm not complaining

Works really well, I use for taking notes at school on a surface go and don’t have any complaints after 4 months. I read that some people had issues with it not being accurate enough but I haven’t noticed that at all! Would recommend getting the pack of multiple bibs as it’s nice to find the one that suits you best!

Lost my pen for my Microsoft laptop pro and had to replace it. This was great, it came quickly and was so easy to install (didn't really need to just pressed the button while I was at the laptop). This is great for illustrations and did everything my other pen did (looks the same aswell) and they last for ages.
