These look nice and feel comfortable to wear. However, I also am going to bring up the fact that the strap to tighten it up is too long. Effectively, when you pull the straps to tighten it up, the velcro patches to secure it in place aren't aligned; so you can't really secure it as tight as you'd like.I'm a 12 and bought a 12, they feel slightly too long. a good half inch at the top where my big toes don't even reach. Perhaps order a size down.My feet also feel like they're likely to sweat easily in these like another reviewer mentioned; perhaps it's the material padding?

everyone has mentioned the size of the velcro band and that is it too long, that is true. But the strap is open, and to shorten it all you need to do is to wrap it around further on the end securing the toe then it will be short enough to wrap around the ankle strap with enough velcro to secure it in place. This may be why its considerably cheaper - and I for one am not complaining. Even if the strap was too big, it's relatively easy to either place a new strip along the show or better on the underside of the strap using glue.

Unlike some merrels th s show has one strap linking toes and rear area of foot, it works well and is not an issue.

Good sandals for walking, good grip and very comfortable. It fits as expected.
