I love these walking shoes. It is my third pair which says something. They are so comfortable and durable for everyday long dog walks about 8kms a day. Worth pointing out is that Merrell do come up slightly small but as there are half sizes available I always order half size bigger. The width of the shoes is generous and plenty of room for slightly thicker walking socks. The Gore Tex protection really does make a difference no more soggy socks in long grass or when caught in rain. Highly recommend.

They are so, so comfortable , I could wear them all day. Perfect for dog walking. I’ve worn them on beaches and on rocky hills and they’ve supported my feet adequately without the strain that walking boots put on my ankles. The sizes are on the small side, I take a 4 and so ordered 4.5 but had to return them for a 5 which are spot on. I think I’ll have to put them away soon as I wouldn’t want to wear them in winter sludge and heavy rain.

I bought these shoes for Nordic walking as my walking boots were too stiff for this activity. I have wide feet (EEE) and they’re a very comfortable fit. They have a reasonable arch support but as they have removable insoles I can use my own orthotics in them. I have walked through woods and on wet grass and they have kept my feet dry so far. A good walking shoe.

I love these, they are very comfortable with no break in period required. I found one a little snug, but that’s down to one of my feet being a larger than the other. I ordered another pair one size up to give the toes on my bigger foot more wiggle room, but that’s no reflection on the product, just down to my weird feet.

I've had exact same pair before - the half sizes are best fit for me and these are best fit I've found for my particular feet! Do a lot of urban walking as well as out in peaks and these work well for both scenarios and are hard wearing - though I still wear them out it takes 2 years of pretty much daily wear.

Only just received my walking shoes, look slightly different to what I've seen in a retail outlet. Only worn a couple of times for a short time , so far so good. If they turn out to be as comfortable as my last pair of Merrells I will be very pleased.

I've just ordered a second pair of these as they are the most comfortable walking shoes I've ever had and I've been so pleased with them! Really designed for the way women walk so my dog walks have definitely got longer!

These shoes fitted perfectly and were comfortable from the first wearing. They have been bought for a holiday in The Lake District which is when they will be put to the test. Great colour too - not too bright or gaudy.

V light and comfortable shoe. UK size 7 was 40.5 and not 41 which I found unusual. I am usually 6.5 and even the 7 is this brand was too tight for me so had to return

Nice shoes, comfortable and sturdy. Walked 80 miles and no blisters. Not as much arch support as I'd expected but with an extra gel insole they were spot on.

Love these....no rubbing...Wide enough for my feet...light...cool and very comfortable...shall only buy Merrell from now on!!!

I have had these boots now for a few months. They now let in water at the top of the boot. Very unhappy!!!

I love theses shoes,but the size is so small unexpectedly,so I have had to return them, I should order 6UK
