I just received my Moab Adventure size 11s in the mail and have had them on for an hour and already got compliments! I bought these boots for my trip to Italy. I considered Danner, Timberland and Merrell. I chose Merrell for the comfort and the Adventure model because I liked the simple and non-flashy look. I am usually a 10.5 M but ordered 11 M based on another review. The boots are comfortable right out of the box. They are roomy for my toes, unlike the Danner Mountain 600s 10.5 M, which were too narrow, that I returned. My feet are pretty warm now, after walking a mile in the sun, which was to be expected. I am pleased with the comfort of Merrell and happy with this purchase.

Been wearing their Waterproof Mid Hiking Boot for at least 20 years. 6 days per week to the gym including outdoor strongman lifting. After a year they are still like new I replace them only because i am concerned of the insole losing its cushioning. I buy a new pair every year and the new ones just feel a little better but the old ones look new so i use them for creek fishing in the summer where i just wear them in the water and other activity where i am not doing a lot of walking - painting around the house, etc. These shoes are always comfortable and regardless if my lifting activity i don't even know i am wearing them.

Great job! Normal price and fast enough delivery (there was a delay - but this is in Russia and not through the fault of the store) Tracking and photo shipments are all at a good level. I had an older model that wasn't as nice but was just supposed to be a temporary replacement for some Timberland ACTs that I really liked. 5 years later I decided that even though they're soft these Merrells hold up amazingly well. So I bought this pair. I was pleasantly surprised to get a more supportive sole like I originally wanted but didn't find. So no complaints at all, got exactly what I wanted, and got the size right on the first try thanks to already owning a pair of the brand. I wear about 8.5 in running shoes and 7.5 in army boots, but need a 9 in these.

I have owned and worn Merrell hikers for longer than I can remember. These are a very nice, comfortable boot. I would however, consider this a light weight hiker. As others have pointed out, there is no gusset on the tongue. This would call in to question the overall waterproof level these hikers could sustain. For me, I wear them as an everyday boot to work and not as a hard core hiking boot. Should manage everyday rain and snow here in the Norhteast. Well worth the money and as comfortable as any Merrell I have ever owned.

Good fit, very comfortable and in my opinion they look good. Height of lacing allows ease in getting on/off. Worn in very heavy rain and shallow snow. In heavy rain, water did once get in via tongue, but then they are "mid waterproof" and it's only once in many times out in rain. I also had waterproof trousers on so rain was running off them on to my feet.2020-06-09Stitching has failed on outside of one boot at widest part of foot. They were worn often, usually in poor weather conditions.

These are good quality boots and are very light and comfortable to wear. Grip is good and the construction provides plenty of support. However, I would suggest that the boots are not proper all weather walking boots as the tongue is not the 'bellows' type and water will enter the boot halfway up. The leather nap looks very good but is easily scuffed/marked, these boots have a 'mostly competent out on the trail but are too nice looking to get dirty and scuffed' air about them.

I had to return & replace exactly 1/2 size larger and now fit as if my regular size. Toe box is large which I need for my foot and the center section of boot is slender which I also need. Easy on because there's no bellows on tongue. I guess I wouldn't where if constantly hiking through puddles or alike. Comfortable right out of the box which Merrels are sorta known for. A short break-in period might be necessary if your a hard core hiker

Overall a great boot. Very comfortable and supportive. They are tough enough for hiking but stylish enough to wear with jeans or khakis. Only negative is the lack of tongue gussets which kind of defeats the waterproof feature but would probably only be an issue in deeper water or if you spent a long time in a driving rain. If not for this, would have been a 5-star rating rather than a 4.

These boots take a beating, worn everyday for work in all kinds of conditions, after about a year they start to breakdown a bit so I usually purchase another pair for when these are no longer wearable. Very comfortable and light enough that I don"t know they are on. But don"t get me wrong, you do have to take care of them and use a good leather conditioner about every 6 weeks.

Great Boot. Took about 2 weeks of everyday wear and about 20 miles of short hikes to completely break in. They look even better when the are broke in. They are waterproof unless water gets over toe and on the lower part of the tongue. They are warm enough for cool weather and not to hot during warmer weather. They fit just like all the previous Merrell boots I have owned.

Bought these boots to replace an older pair of Merrells. These are a lighter duty boot than I have used in the past for my hiking, but I might like them better. They are so much lighter and more comfortable than my old pair. It felt like I was wearing sneakers. They were tough enough to make it through one summer of hikes so far.

I wear a 12 1/2 usually which as everyone who wears a 12 or better knows, shoe companies refuse to accommodate us. The nice thing about Merrel is they run about a half size large. The last pair I had lasted me 3 1/2 years. For me, a man who works for a living, that’s a stretch when it comes to shoes. Great fit. Great shoe.

I've been a big fan of Merrells for years, now. These Moabs are just as comfy and easy to rack up the miles in, right out of the box. A wide toe box makes for a pain-free experience. When it's a little wet underfoot on smooth surfaces or when walking on soggy ground, grip can be a little compromised, though.

Boots fit right out of box. Very comfortable. Wore in the snow and they are waterproof. A little bit on the heavy side, but worth the weight because they feel like they swaddle my feet and offer very good support. Haven’t taken them on any long hikes yet so I can’t report on their performance.
