This piano is beautiful and sounds lovely and a great deal at the discounted price. I brought it for my 2 year old but it was a huge hit with the whole family, Grandparents and Uncles included. My daughter is clearly too young to play it properly but loves to bash it. She is very tall and I dont know how great it will fit once she reaches the suggested age however, saying that I can sit reasonably comftably on the stool and play it so she will probably be fine. It was very easy to put together. The only bad point is the strip with the notes on could have been painted on because its already been ripped once and my daughter caught her fingers under it because she leant over it from behind and the lid came down under her weight. It also comes in a box with a huge picture on the front so make sure the kids are away when you receive delivery.Delivery itself was amazing, especially as it was just before Christmas it came from Edinburgh I think to Norfolk in less then 48 hours with normal amazon 3-5day delivery.

This actually looks like a piano instead of just a toy. Bought for Her third birthday. The songbook is terrific. She knows what song is on each page from the little picture and asks me to play them while she sings. Other times she just bangs on the keys which is MUCH less irritating than the last little toy keyboard. It is not too loud and the sound is not bad, just a little tinny. My only fear is that she will tear off the paper guide with the color and letter for each key. It is obviously meant to be removed when the child doesn't need it but does not lie flat. I can't wait to watch her progress!

I bought the mini grand piano for my 2 yr old grandaughter at Christmas and it was a roaring success. I was dreading having to construct it but it was really easy and is very sturdy yet light enough to move from room to room-depending on where the maestro wishes to perform. There are enough keys to enable her to play a tune yet not enough to scare her off while she learns. The song book which came with the piano is colour coded to match the keys which makes learning fun for everyone. I would recommend this item to anyone with a child who loves music.

bought this for my 3 year son. I was surprised to see how well he took on to it. All his male friends/ boy friends that visit must have several tries on this piano. Besides being an educational investment, its a good distraction and I wouldnt want to get rid of it as its a perfect minature size piano.A friend who is also a piano teacher, noted that the keys were well tuned and the color codes made it more interesting and easy for children to learn from and follow.

I bought this for my son for his second birthday and he absolutely loves it. I have to say i was a bit suprised by the noise it makes as it is quite high pitch and sounds quite tinny but my son and his three year old sister love it. The book thatcomes wth it is also colour coded as are the keys which makes playing songts fuin for the children (and adult family members!)

Lovely construction. Sturdy and robust - looks the business and comes with a music book. The sounds from the keys are still quite tinny as expected for a toy and therefore this is the only thing that lets it down - just wish it sounded a bit better, otherwise it's lovely. My son is happy to play with it and feels like he now has a proper piano of his own

Fantastic - I bought this 'piano' to follow on from the smaller version in the M&D catalogue. It is NOT a musical instrument - it's a toy. But it (sort of) plays tunes and chords, and the keys are laid out just like the real thing. For whatever reason, it is a favourite toy for both my under-4 grandchildren.

A great item for tiny tots who love to bash out a tune. So far is standing up to the strain. It's certainly well put together and looks great, but Piano it aint! More like a xylophone in a box. Worth checking around though for best price as they can retail for nearly £150. Ours was in the £80 region.

Beautiful toy piano, very sturdy and beautifully glossy.Sounds like a glockenspiel - metal or wood on metal, so a tinkly toy sound. It responds to pressure like playing a piano and I think will make an excellent 'starter' for my 3 year old, albeit a toy.

It is a good quality product and it is perfect for my 3 year old who has enjoyed playing. It is wood and the paint is high end. The sound is good it is not too loud and is really good for a toy piano.

Super piano. Bought it for my 3 yr old gson which is too young (as it does state) . Can't wait until he's 4 and understands it a lot more! Looks fabulous. Well worth the money

It is a lovely item which i like an also my 2y old son likes. I would just say that the finish is not very good but overall and for the price i would recommend it.

Great piano definately is "Great". The sound is more like a glockenspiel or xylophone but it's perfect for little finger and the music book is a great touch!

My daughter loves her piano. I think the sound could be a bit better and that there should be a few more keys- but that's being picky, she adores playing it!
