You'll be enjoying smooth gameplay here no lagging. I didn't experience any problems/bugs during installation or gameplay. The mission objectives are, for the most part, well thought out and fun to execute. Being able to choose from three difficulty levels makes this a fun game for beginners as well as advanced players.I've read a few of the harsh negative reviews about the level gameplay being off. For example, someone commented on being stuck for 10 Minutes waiting for something to happen because they were in the wrong spot. Even if that were to happen, and the chances are really low. Only an idiot would stand around wasting (not 1,not 2,not even 3 Minutes, but 10 Minutes)waiting for something to happen when you have Dynamic HUD to direct you further, and a brain that's supposed to click in and tell you that you missed something. At that point,it wouldn't take a genious to figure it out or restart, which would take a maximum of a couple of minutes. Here's the kicker. I went back to the game just to replay that level to see if I'd get stuck too. I tried 20 times and the answer is no. I asked everyone that I know on- and offline about this and that's quite a few people. Not a single one had that problem either. There are definitely some minor flaws(as with all games), but most of these negative reviews are exaggerated. I grant you that this isn't COD video quality, and it's short, but it's still entertaining and fun.The graphics are better now than in previous medal of honor games, but they could have been better.I have an Intel i7 940 with 16 GB RAMapprox. 2.5 GB HD Video-RAM. So, I definitely expected more as far as graphics go.They were paying attention to some of the details on the screen, but clearly not to all of them. Some areas in my humble opinion were lacking quite a bit.You can adjust the graphics. However, the options were far too few, and don't help much.Although, as far as sound goes, I did like being able to turn the music down some. So, I could hear the objectives better. The story and the objectives were okay. I'd say typical war scenarios. Rescue left behind soldiers. Take out enemy positions by destroying their heavy armor, hold a critical position until back up arrives and so on. I do think they could have used a little more oomph in the soldier's acting/voice lines. This is a solid FPS, but you won't experience too much, if anything new here. There were some things that bugged me during gameplay . 1st, the larger guns. In the beginning of the game they blocked my view when hunting enemies and during combat. They decided to use a camouflage style this time, which created a blind side to my (lower and middle) right viewing area. It blocked my view of enemies even more when I lifted the gun upwards, for example, when I was exchanging fire in the mountains. I got used to it and worked around it after a while.2nd, and above mentioned lack of cutting edge video and settings.so, what bugged me the most? The single player mode was way too short about 1/2 the length that it should have been. That is unusual for a MOH game. I like using the single player to prepare for multiplaying in case the controls are new, and to get a feel for the storylines and gameplay. This time I used Tier 1 as a single player intro to the multiplayer combat. Although there's nothing different in it. You're basically playing the singleplayer with a time limit to beat, no checkpoints, etc. All in all, the good outweighs the bad and makes this game worth playing. However, because of the shortness and lack of ground breaking gameplay. If I had to buy it again, I would have liked to have paid a little less.

I'm a huge fan of FPS's and MOH is a welcome addition to the large collection I already own. The Campaign is long compared to alot of shooters on the market atm and the graphics are fantastic. There are a few glitches but these are easily drowned out in what has to be one of the best looking games of 2010 and even currently. The gameplay is varied and exciting and the sound realistic and crisp. This combination provides an excellent platform with some truly exhilarating moments. As another reviewer has mentioned the scene where you are under siege by waves of Taliban sprinting from the surrounding mountains is thrilling and the level after while manning the weapons of the awesome AH-64 Apache is fantastic fun. There are a number of highlight moments that make this game stick out alongside other greats in the genre. It also has replayability with additional difficulties unlocked upon completion and a cool time attack version of the entire campaign on offer. This envolves starting a level with say 30 seconds on the clock, the only goal being to complete it before it ticks down to zero. Ofcourse the levels are generally very lengthy so to stop that timer ever reaching zero additional time is added for every kill with bonuses on offer for performing headshots and multikills with grenades etc. Getting 10 minutes into a particularly difficult section of the game and hovering around 5-20 seconds while desperatly running to look for that next headshot can really get your adrenaline pumping. The multiplayer is also fairly good and Dice have carried over some of the best and worst bits from their battlefield titles. The weaponry and sounds of battle are second to none. The maps are normally breathtaking, beautifully made and like battlefield, huge! This type of large map however, does seem to attract an awful lot of 1 shot 1 kill snipers who can really become boring. There are some smaller maps which can provide the same sort of running and gunning that Cod titles offer but these maps can have incredibly obvious choke points that whole teams tend to sit and watch through their sights. The amount of this style of 'tactic' quickly becomes tedious for those that prefer to speed round guns blazing. Unfortunately, opening fire like that on this game generally invites a bullet to the head from a sniper on the other side of the map whose legs have gone to sleep and on quite a few occasions entire teams have become trapped in a tiny spawn point on the map with the only exit or exits blocked by the opposing team of snipers. The ranking system and other MP treats such as killstreak rewards aren't quite as good as the likes of MW2 but when a strafing jet or artillery strike does get called in the resulting explosions are a real delight to sit back and watch. The multiplayer definitely requires a gamer with a certain amount of skill and on occasion alot of patience but overall, the mix of gameplay from the campaign and multiplayer, realism, and beautiful graphics make any shortcomings a small problem in an otherwise entertaining offering. Definitely worth a look for the current pricetag and a must for all fans of FPS's. Happy gaming!

I am guessing that people who review this game have not been playing online . because online is superb . probably not as good as Call of duty 4 and MW2 but on a par or better than than black ops which was a let down . I am glad i rented blackops and this but i went out and bought this . The single player feels added on just for people who dont have xbox live but it shines online . Be it a sector control , team deathmatches that are really cool , or missions which are basiclly battlefield bad company missions exploding the other teams [which consists of online players not Ai] area and moving to the next untill all 5 sections have been destroyed and you have pushed all the way ,then its time to defend and hold them off . GREAT FUN . I dont understand how everyone loves battlefield but slates this when it basicly is battlefield but more shooting and less running around looking for the action . Just buy it if u love battlefield and enjoy call of dutys and other fps . And the sniping is good fun and the feeling of being under supressive fire and keeping behind cover works well . u feel like your there and u can not say that about call of duty . I challenge any true FPS fan who enjoys battlefield and who can do more than just run and gun to take on this game . You will see how good it is .And if you still think its bad then for the price its at now just trade it in to your local game shop . I bet you will make your money back. the xbox live community needs to get behind this game more so it can live for a long time because Its a PROPER ONLINE SHOOTER THATS NOT FOR KIDDIESI think theres a conspiracy to slam other great shooters so call of duty dominates the market even when it doesnt deserve too . But as for EA . Well the havent helped themselves .1 they are EA :( 2 VIP passes suck 3 good games are suffering from EA being greedy :(PS ........... when i rented I still got to play most of the game online with out VIP code . After using a VIP code I was actually disapointed at how little extra I got so if YOU SEE IT DIRT CHEAP SECOND HAND THEN ITS STILL WORTH IT :) And whats with Ea making us all pay for VIP codes but then still charging for download content . EA NEED TO SORT THEMSELVES OUT . MAY BE THEY SHOULD NOT MAKE SO MANY BAD GAMES AND EARN CASH THE PROPER WAY THROUGH GOOD SALES OF GOOD GAMES . I MEAN WHO TEST PLAYS THERE GAMES eg Need for speed undercover OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!

I played this because I've only recently got an Xbox 360 and I'm working my way through what all my friends have going on about for the last half decade or so, so dont consider me an expert on Xbox 360 games as up till recently I was more ps2/PC gamer. FPS wise I've played Halo 3/reach, Bulletstorm and Ghost Recon : Future soldier and finished the campaigns but I must say this one, however brief had some of my favorite experiences of xbox 360 FPS's so far.Pros :*Good Graphics, not amazing, but good enough to be immersible.*Gameplay feels solid, probably the best FPS I've played for pure game play on the Xbox.*Characters seem acceptably real, no oscars given out but you can enjoy it,if only because the Delta remind you of will smiths Ex-delta mates from towards the end of Bad Boys 2, and the SEALS all are trying to be like Eric Banas Delta force character from Black hawk down.*some genuinly tense moments of combat (although this was on a HD tv with 5.1 surround sound very loud)*Diversity of playing styles (from stealthy search & destroy missions with the SEALS or Delta, to a more general infantry role as a ranger, which actually is actually really well placed because it brings you back from thinking your indestructible.*the sort of campaign where linearity can be excused because of explainable plot.Cons :*Music is annoying when its trying to capture the moment, although It can be turned off thank god.*If your required to pull back towards a chopper with your team dont think you can help your mates hold the evil lads back, the other team members just nag you.*some very late explanations of controls*Very short campaign, maybe 4 or 5 hours at most (very disappointing for someone like me whose used to 3 week PS1 Final Fantasy binges)Summary this game as some really intense moments (particularly as the rangers, you really feel like your in the meat grinder) that I believe lift it out of the run of the mill shooter category, it was just a shame it ended so abruptly, A real experience could of been crafted from this if it was a few days long to complete, it seems single player is just a gimmick, given way to multiplayer and its a shame as I believe I'd rather be taken on a journey with my character than get called a noob, or later on just a general (any swear word) by some 14 year old.

I was sad to see so many negative comments about this game. I like it!1. Yes. It's relatively short. I'm only an average player. It kept me happy for a few hours.2. The graphics are not as cinematic as Call of Duty. However, they are very good and ran like silk on my mid spec machine.3. The story is better that Modern Warfare 2 (which got a bit surreal towards the end) It feels realistic. I like he characters. Mind you, why is the player character the only one that gets knocked senseless (in CoD too)?!4. It's easier than Call of Duty. On medium difficulty I began to think I was immortal in the early stages. However, it got tougher as the game progressed.5. It doesn't introduce any gaming innovations.Who cares? It uses innovations from earlier shooters that we all enjoyed. However, I'm surprised DICE didn't give us the chance to blow up every building, as in their excellent Bad Company.6. The sound is magnificent. The gunfire sounds fantastic. I normally turn off the music if I can. I left the sound track on for this one.7. There are relatively few weapons. However, they all look, feel and sound solid. The shotgun is more effective than usual. There are a few very long range sniper sections. It's heart stopping waiting to see where your bullet will strike.9. The icons to show you where to go are a bit hit and miss. This (accidentally, perhaps) enhances the feeling of realism and forces you to find your own way at times or search for a distant target.10. I have no comment on multiplay. I am strictly a single player.I love playing it. Any CoD player will feel at home. It's addictive. There is always an urge to reach the next checkpoint. The gameplay is intense. The battles are excellent. Hence the five stars. It can be argued that it's too expensive but it's still a lot cheaper than the much anticipated black Ops. I expect we'll all end up playing both!Edit:I note that all positive reviews for this game get "thumbs down", presumably from die hard CoD fans.I have now played it twice. I found it even better the second time and set it on the hardest difficulty. The story is believable and it feels realistic. The sniping sequences are sublime. I went back to CoD Wodern Warfare 2 after playing this and (apart from the graphics) it wasn't a patch on MoH.

Having heard that the Medal of Honor games were generally regarded as being the poor relations to COD & Battlefield, I thought I would try one out for myself and I'm glad I chose this one as I really loved the campaign for this game. What sets it apart from the more recent modern day COD's & Battlefields is that it is set in Afghanistan and the Taliban are the enemy rather than the usual Russian or Chinese separatists/terrorists that are normally used, so it gives the game a much more topical & realistic feel. You play as different US Special Forces throughout the campaign, and there is more of a stealth & sniper style of gameplay when playing as the Navy Seal & Delta Force Operatives, however, when playing as an Army Ranger there are some pretty intense large scale gunfights in there as well. Enemy AI is pretty good too and they are fairly accurate with their shots, so if you try and stand there taking on all comers Rambo style you probably won't last very long. The gameplay is very tight & intuitive and its obvious Dice have learnt a lot, not only from their own Battlefield: Bad Company games but also from rival Call of Duty also. The only downside, as with all FPS campaigns, is that it is very short lived but it is an immensely enjoyable ride while it lasts.NB: Not sure if this is standard for this title or if it was just from the company I ordered the game from through Amazon, but the game itself came with a German/French cover and instruction booklet, however, the game itself was all in English so there was no issue there - just something to be aware of if you order & receive it like this. FREEBIE - Also to note, there is a HD copy of PS2 era WWII game 'Medal of Honor: Frontline' included free on the disc too, although it looks very dated now and the gameplay is extremely clunky compared to most FPS these days, although it does highlight just how far these games have progressed/improved in the last 10 years or so I guess.

I bought this game for multiplayer only and so far had a lot of fun. It is good to finally see a well balanced game. Even though some weapons are more suitable for certain maps and game modes, they are all very effective. I no longer feel like I'm giving an advantage to other players by picking a less powerful weapon. Explosives do their job well and are not overpowered. You can effectively scoop out those camper snipers from their hiding spots using an RPG however you will find it counter-productive using it during normal combat. You get kill streaks which give you an incentive to stay alive and complete objectives however you won't be able to abuse these as you can't really dominate a game with them.Tanks are also pretty fun but considering it only takes two RPGs to destroy one, they don't have a major impact on the game.I'm giving this game 4 stars for two main reasons. First of all the movement could have been made smoother. I would often find myself trying to climb obstacles that are not accessible or my way blocked by a little pebble I have to jump over. You will need to watch the landscape and familiarize yourself with the maps so that you know which points are accessible and which are not. It can be frustrating being shot because you are stuck between two rocks or while attempting to fit through the window. Secondly, I can't see myself playing this game for too long because after the limited number of weapons is unlocked and I've experienced all the kill streaks, there won't be anything left to play for.
too many buildings and cover its not properly structured like most games go as soon as the game starts snipers camp and that`s it, you wont see where they are because there is no kill cam plus if you try to cross the map to hunt them down you wont even go half way before you dead
So it pretty much paints the real feel of what it is like on the battlefield then?.Grow a pair soldier and stop being so negative.I was open minded of the multi player side with hearing so much of this negativity?although it is not all that bad.I feel the map`s give you a good urban of street to street fighting and the open map`s give you a good feel of having to keep your head down and use cover.Peoplenowa day`s are COD brain washed,if you can not get a camera to tell you were your enemy was or is?then it`s a poor game?.What nonsense.I found this game to be really fun to play on and off line.OK the story is short although what you get is none stop action all the way,the part were you are cut off and the tali ban are swarming you from the hills was pure adrenaline pleasure. The only negative for me is I find the AI to be a little slow on reaction time to your movements.Even on the hard setting the AI were to easy.

Loaded up the game to find it spluttering everywhere, freezing, jerking. The game was literally unplayable. Also played around with the video settings and they didn't even seem to effect the graphics i.e. i turned anti alias on and off and there was no change, same with detail set to medium and high. Even on the highest settings i thought the graphics were appalling for such a new game.So I played the game for 10 minutes and literally had to give up as it was jerk city. I went back to Modern Warfare 2 just to check if my PC (6 months old) was acting up and MW2 played silky smooth. If they can release a patch then hopefully i can give a proper review on the actual gameplay.---Now the game is patched and played the game through to completion i've upped the rating to 4.Overall its a fun game but very short, about 4-5 hours only which is pretty bad. COD MW 2 was 8 hours and Black Ops 9, so overall very short but sweet.Would still recommend purchasing the game but so far the best shooter of this type is battlefield bad company 2. Great graphics, realism and fun to play.

I really do like this game.Picked it up on Amazon for £15 before Christmas and although delayed by the Royal Mail, customer service was helpful despite a 2 week wait due to the bad weather. The game story itself isn't much, a fight, a rescue, another rescue and a end of credit animation which reveals there could be a sequel. The in game animation starts of in the same vein of COD, driving into Taliban country and then by the end of the game the graphics (characters) have become cartoony...what was all that about? When you play the first mission and then the last there is a significant drop in quality or style. Weird. The sounds of gunfire, grenades, bullets whizzing past and explosions are very realistic.I don't know what some people are complaining about - my speakers are 7 year old philips with a subwoofer, but the sounds are clear, crisp and meaty. Very good. The weakest parts of the game are the silly SP hours to complete - i took 5 hours and did not hurry. The storyline isn't much, but overall I think is a better game than COD Black Ops.

I have just finished the single player campaign (8 hours in total at hard difficulty, including reloading and cutscenes).I'm really satisfied. The atmosphere and gameplay is great. The missions are various and allied and enemy AI is good. Maybe sometimes enemies are quite static (such in BiA Hell's Highway) but I'm replaying twice the campaign and I'm still enjoying it.The single player engine (Unreal) is great and I'm playing at max 1280x720 with stable frame rate (over 40 fps).Multiplayer is a bit tactical and it reminds BF Bad Company 2 (DICE is the developer !).The Multiplayer engine is Frostbite (developed by DICE) and I like it. The terrain, colors, sound and voices are rendered well and stable. All in all,I like this game ! so five stars on five.In these period I also liked Dragon Rising, ArmA, Ghost Recon. This game (MEdal of Honor 2010) is more scripted than these games, but the experience and the feeling of being on the Afghan mountains is great !

Single Player - I switched to the most difficult setting very early on - which I never do normally - as the game play appeared too easy. Not that easy on the hardest setting and I have played games which are more difficult but you can still finish each section fairly quickly. The characters, story line, graphics and sound are easily up to EA's usual standard but they appear to have invested a lot of time and money on the cinema type films between sections which are entertaining but the investment could have been spent more on gameplay, The Apache section is particularly well done over the mountains of Afghanistan both on gameplay and graphics. The only criticism may be that you are confined to very narrow corridors all the way through which, having played open world games, seems to be a bit dated now. However, well worth buying especially at this price. Can't comment on the mufti player game..

Using Top-of-the-Range Graphics, all at High Settings, and From a Single Person Shooter Operating aspect,'The Game' demands respect. When "Contact' is shouted, if you fail to move/function as would a Real Combatant, You Can Be Dead Before You Blink, and, probably not immediately know from whence the hit came.It calls for total concentration and skills learned, either from being ex-Military or having played 100's of hours as a First Person Shooter/Multiplayer.For the first five hours of play, I lost count of the times I died, but then I'm an old, ex-RAF Pilot, so what do I know about Ground Pounding.Having played: CoD World at War; CoD Modern Warfare; Battlefield Bad Co.2,this is a challenge and a truly Great Game.A good intro to close-in street fighting tactics - Try 'First to Fight Marines in Beirut' it may be an old one but it really teaches one how to control a basic Squad of Marines.

I'm not going to sit and compare this game to others that are similar and I will also keep this review short as most of the other reviews have already provided detailed descriptions of the game. This game is great and I thoroughly enjoyed playing it and was sad when I completed it! It kept you interested by there being different weapons and ways of taking people out (e.g. setting target for air attacks) so that you weren't just aiming and shooting the same way for the entire game. The graphics were very good as well and I got into the storyline. Was especially pleased that the Amazon price was good. It's ridiculous what some people pay for games these days.An excellent game in it's own right. Why does everything have to be compared to Call of Duty or Halo these days!? There are still other good games out there!
