Honestly the worst item I have ever purchased! The child unit makes a continuous humming noise and the parent unit struggles to pick up any sound at all. Parent unit also crackles like you're listening to an out of range radio station and the music feature plays a song once then stops- no where near long enough for a child to fall asleep! I filled in the returns form the same day I received them and decided using no monitor was better than his g these. A terrible item, please don't waste your money
