This dehumidifier is a large size but a benefit is a six litre capacity water tank. It is the quietest dehumidifier I have ever owned (my third in 31 years). It is effectively removing moisture from the air and I can put clothes on an airer and they are dry overnight. Please note this is a benefit of this model not a feature/program. There is however a timer program that can be used to turn the dehumidifier off after a set length of time (1hr increments).I would recommend the Meaco brand.

I bought this Meaco dehumidifier after seeing it come top in the Which? group testing they did for dehumidifiers. The unit works via using a refrigerant and uses much less electricity than the heat exchanger based dehumidifiers. It uses 255W maximum when running, but the unit will switch itself off when it reaches the humidity level that is easily set using the control panel. The tank is easy to empty and it has a HEPA filter that really improves air quality. Plus Meaco is a British company.

I have had 4 previous dehumidifiers of various makes in the past. This one is the best one to date by a considerable margin.If you have not bought a dehumidifier before you must understand most of them are noisy. You can hear this one in operation but it is far quieter than previous ones i have owned. This Meaco is also the most efficient dehumidifier i have had drawing lots of moisture out of the air in a short time and making a noticable difference to condensation on windows.

Firstly the product looks good, its control panel looks modern and is easy to operate it has a strong handle and wheels for easy manoeuvrability. The removeable water tank is well designed with a cover to avoid spillages and a carrying handle and it holds a considerable amount of water, Finally it does what it says on the tin as they say, it removes lots of water from the air, far more than we realised we had, really pleased with this purchase and would thoroughly recommend.

This item is fantastic gone is the horrible black stuff that used to grow in bedroom UPVC window frames since using this item have definitely been coughing and sneezing a lot less the features are fantastic and also the electricity usage is cheap the flat environment is a lot nicer one of the best things is the water tank is 6 litres so you are not constantly having to empty it also portability is fantastic as has a sturdy handle and castors definitely recommend meaco highly

The machine works efficiently. The water container is very difficult to get out,especially for people with limited mobility. I for example have problems getting down low and having a slot on either side of the container requires both hands.Once access is gained to the handle on top of the container everything is ok.To get the water out I have made a low platform which sits against the front castors and allows me to slide out the container without it tipping out the contents.

Excellent dehumidifier, debated for a couple of years due to the cost - “Which” changed my mind along with reviews on line.Working for a hire company tried small industrial dehumidifiers previously, this really does blast these out of the water (excuse the pun) and quieter.Has improved moisture on windows / walls considerably in the few weeks we have owned it.Would buy another due to size of home when saved up enough but moving around is easy as on wheels.

This is our second Meaco low energy dehumidifier, this first one was the smaller 12l model.That dehumidifier was so good in keeping the home free of black mould and condensation and drying the laundry that when it finally died we upgraded to this 20l Meaco model.It can dry the washing in 2 hours , has a two speed fan, a automatic motorised Louvre is energy saving.Meaco dehumidifiers are quiet and cheap to run and very efficient. Very pleased with this 20l model.

Brought this dehumidifier after reading the reviews first. We got this because we have an condensation problem not damp. This dehumidifier has solved the problem in our 3 bedroom house over night literally. We have an open plan down stairs with staircase in the middle so positioned it in the middle of the room just under the staircase, and what a surprise downstairs and upstairs was dry, no condensation at all. Problem solved excellent product.

Its great! Use it everyday and it makes our 2bed flat dry and warm. Very convenient 5litre container compare to my other dehumidifier which is only 2litre. Love that it can dry and filter your air - it was the main reason why we went for this make. Not expensive to run - although none of them are if you take into account that they save your home from damp and make it warmer.The only thing is..Its quite big - so its not easy to hide.

Excellent de-humidifier we researched many but settled on this one and so glad we did. I dont dry clothes in my home but did get a lot of window condensation. This amazing easy to conrol, move about if needed, item is truly amazing. i leave it in the hall downstairs or occasionally hall upstairs and the amount of water i emptied away had been startling., averaging 3pints a day that is on slow fan setting for about 6 hours day average.

This dehumidifier does its job very well.A few weeks after I purchased it from Argos it stopped working. I took it back and Argos replaced it with a new one, no hassle. Since then it has been working faultlessly and my wine cellar, which had 100% humidity is now at a dry 60%. The only hassle is to bring up a bucket of water every 2 days. I am considering installing a little hose and pump to take the water extracted out automatically.

This model vents warm and dry air when working which reduces the need for heating and lifts the background temperature. It filters the air it sucks in and makes your home feel inviting. If you have a damp problem you will rejoice as you tip away litres of water sucked from your bedding, furnishings, walls and the fabric of your home. Salt will flow freely again. Negatives are weight, noise levels, lack of ioniser, and the high price.

Brought this to stop Mold and condensation in my bungalow specially my lads room .The amount of water it removes is unbelievable , wish i had got this years ago.I move it from room with ease , kitchen when I'm cooking , hall when I'm running baths and usually finish in my lads room before he goes to bed .Highly recommended , although i have only had 5 weeks so fingers crossed it works well for long time

Well what can I say, it does the job, it’s one of the most expensive ones you can buy. We bought this one because we thought it would get rid of my condensation on my windows, however as it’s too noisy to have in the bedroom and on all night we’re not sure if it would solve the problem or not because we can’t sleep with it on! We could of probably bought a cheaper one and would achieve the same results.
