I love the way cosmetics companies invent words for their products. This is described as mattifying powder! It is a compressed powder in a very pale shade (I have the Nude Beige) which looks darker in the palette than on the face. I was disappointed to find that there was no applicator with the product. I normally buy Max Factor Creme Puff which does come with a circular sponge applicator. Having said that the Maybelline product is cheaper and some people prefer to use a soft powder puff of their own.Other than that I am perfectly happy with the product but suspect the shade might be too light in the summer months when my face tends to acquire a slight tan. The other shade looks even lighter,

After some initial packaging rage am very happy with the product. It blends in to give a subtle coverage of my far from flawless skin giving a matte finish which I much prefer to a glossier more 'make-uppy' look! The initial problem that the lid was very tightly fixed on and it took 3 people trying it to dislodge and open it up - was thinking I was going to have to smash into it to try it. This is a pale natural colour (nude) and thus gives a very natural look. I have mature skin that is slightly oily in the t-zone and it went on smoothly, not powdery, and provide a good cover of my nose and cheeks although around the nose it did clog the larger pores a little bit.

I usually use Rimmel stay matte that I but here, this was on offer for a ridiculous price and had great reviews so I thought I’d give it a go. It’s really good, stats all day over my foundation with a spritz of setting spray. It give a nice matte finish, you don’t need a lot either, I just do a light dusting to fix my foundation. Colours are great, I bought both the beige ones, the natural and nude, one is a pinky tone the other a more yellow beige. I bought 5 altogether as for this price o stocked up.

I really hate it when they make products so difficult to see how to open or need excess strength to twist open you have to ask a man, especially when its a product made specifically for women. Moving on. This is a great colour. Pale and almost translucent with a matt finish, ideal over a good foundation, or brushed lightly over naked skin to take away shine and hide minor blemishes or blotches. My usual choice is Corn Silk or Max Factor. This is a very acceptable alternative.

The makeup arrived the day after ordering, posted by Royal Mail and arrived intact.It comes in a round screw-top container, of which you need to remove the small bit of tape keeping it secure.There is no applicator, but this is not a problem as a small makeup brush is better.When applied it works well and covers small imperfections.It doesn't leave your skin clogged up and looks natural.I would recommend this product and the price is excellent for a well-known brand.

This is the powder I use every day to set my foundation and concealer in place. I find that it gives me a boost with the amount of time that my foundation last on my skin. I have oily skin, and find that this powder helps keep the oil at bay. Very finely milled, easy to use + a good selection of shades. My only gripe is the packaging - I don't like the screw top & a mirror would have been handy. Over all a good day to day powder!

I am slightly oily but not excessively so. I ordered this based on reviews here. I haven't tried very many powders but in comparison to the ones I've tried this makes my face look very smooth. It goes on matte but not chalky. After awhile I get the appearance of quite a healthy glow. I can imagine that people with oiler skin might not like this. To me this glow is not greasy or even dewy just a healthy skin glow.

You get great coverage with this make -up. The finish truly is flawless. Plus your skin doesn't feel that it is heavily covered.With such a neutral palette you can accessorize with a more colourful eye shadow and accentuate with a bronzer or blusher. The sky is the limit.Maybelline is a brand name that you can trust and you get a high quality, high value product with this make-up.Very impressed

Nude BeigeUnfortunately the actual power layer was loose and fell out when I opened it as it wasn't glued inside properly. Luckily it didn't break up. This is no powder puff so you need your own sponge or brush to use this.This is a nice light, translucent powder. It stays nice and matte and fresh, which is great for my oily skin and bears no heaviness at all. Good for touch-ups, too.

bought this as i have very oily skin which causes an unsightly shine, even wit normal powder over the top so i thought id give this a go and i adore this product!! does EXACTLY what it says!! beautiful matte finish!! only thing id say is get a shade lighter than your skin colour just because most maybelline products are a little darker than they appear! but other than that, its awesome!!

My wife was very impressed with this Maybelline New York Matte Powder Number 20. Obviously she has provided me with the relevant information for this review. The powder is nice and easy to apply and adds a nice colour to her face. In fact the only slight down side is the powder does not come with a sponge. But all in all thumbs up.

Personally, I love this as my setting powder, I use it over Maybelline Fit Me Matte and Poreless, but it isn't as mattifying as some other powders. For me, I like this, it gives good coverage and doesnt make me too cakey, but if you want to be super matte or super long, I would recommend the classic Rimmel one instead.

I bought this for the first time as a cheap replacement that I could carry in my handbag. When it first arrived I thought it might be too pale but actually is a fabulous colour for me. Feels great on and leaves the face matt without looking cakey. A great product suitable for all.

This is a very good value powder in a nice neutral shade to complete your look after foundation rather than to give colour. It prevents shine and can be used for touching up during the day. I use a large brush to apply it as that works best for me. Very good value

I like this powder but can't rave about it. Goes on well and does stay matte for a while but after 2-3 hours my face is shiny so needs to be reapplied. Can't put too much on as then goes "cakey" find it works best if you use primer and fixing spray
