Wow this really is a bold lip colour with a real glossy shine and is not for the shy or retiring. Put this on and your lips shout out to be noticed! Personally, I am not bold enough to wear this during the daytime, but as a high impact evening lip colour - definitely. Imagine a deep, rich, vibrant red that you would imagine for the 1920s and you might have an idea - indeed, if you are trying a 1920's look for your makeup (bold lips and smoky eyes etc) then this would fit the bill perfectly. Bold colour and high shine. In terms of application - it has a pointed wand, which allows you to apply a good amount of colour at once. As it is such a bold colour, you do need to have a steady hand to get a good line on your lips - or you could use a lip liner if you prefer to create a crisp edge. The colour stays wells on the lips, even as it inevitably comes off on glasses, but the glossy finish does diminish as this happens, so it does require some maintenance over an evening. I think that it is also better avoided if you are planning to eat (as the colour is likely to move unless you are using an additional product to set it, as I found to my dismay when I had some rather unwieldy canapé which left my with a smudge at the corner of my mouth). This lip colour set off a LBD perfectly for a cocktail party and made me feel really glamorous without too much effort - it was rather more than an item of make-up, it was more an accessory to my outfit, as much as my necklace!

This is exactly the kind of lip product the 14 year old goth-witchy girl inside me does a little happy-dance over, the grown up mummy in me cringes a little at whether she's too old to carry such a colour but the reality is it's a strong look but actually surprisingly wearable, and can be blotted down in stages if necessary. The formulation is a semi sheer sticky molasses like product it's not an opaque cream or a watery transparent gloss but it does take a little more product that I think necessary to get an even finish due to the thickness and tackiness of the gloss. However it is much longer lasting than I thought at first.I wore this for test purposes on a very hot afternoon and it lasted through drinks and a little snack and whilst it was more muted over time I removed it properly with the rest of my make up in the evening. Which isn't bad.I was a little self conscious at first wearing this colour but I've been surprisingly complimented although i feel it's more of a Autumn-winter colour than height of summer! I would definitely try other colours in this range.

L'Oréal======They are the largest cosmetics company in the world. They have loads of brands from Garnier, L'Oréal and have huge research facilities in respect of cosmetics. Just because they're the biggest doesn't mean they're the best. Equally, just because they're the biggest doesn't mean they're evil. I've tested loads of L'Oréal stuff ranging from WOW this should be on the NHS to Oh my golly gosh-this is dreadful.OK? Let's go..WHAT IS IT=========A nice deep lipstick. The listing has various colours and mine was a nice deep even colour.PROS=====Modern colourGood Brandlong lastingNot expensivehas a nice moisturising qualityno bleednot garishCONS=====The applicator can get some getting used to.The listing says color. As it's a French company it would be fine to say couleur or the English colour. But. Not. Color. (sorry for the rant.)OVERALL=======If you need a nice, moisturising lipstick that'll last, this is one to consider.

I was asked if I’d like to review Maybelline Colour Sensational Vivid Hot Lacquer Liquid Lipstick, Number 66, Too Cute. I said yes as I’d just finished the Rimmel gloss I bought at the end of February. With having long blond hair, blue eyes and a very fair complexion, I can’t wear dark colours as they make me look ill, so I was hoping that this colour would be the same as shown on the product page, (it’s very close to the photo it shows).I was pleased when it arrived; it’s a very nice colour. The liquid lipstick goes on easily and evenly. Like all other liquid lipstick I’ve used, it does fade over time but still leave leaves colour on your lips. When I wore this I didn’t eat or drink anything and it still looked good after being on for two hours.Besides it being kind to my lips, (it didn’t make them go dry), it also has a lovely shine. I also found it to be non-sticky and non-greasy.I really like this product so I can highly recommend it.

Review of Number 66, Too Cute. This is a very pleasant and wearable peachy-pink shade, ideal for summer, that will suit a wide age range. It has one of those foam applicators that needs a steady hand - and as you can hopefully see from the photo which should be attached I didn't quite succeed! I wasn't going out when I applied it though, it was just to see how it felt for the purposes of this review. As you might guess from a product with lacquer in its name, it's quite a sticky substance going on, though I've felt much worse. It still felt moist and slightly sticky a good hour after application. If you don't eat or drink its got staying power but it did come off on a cup of coffee.I'd cover this with a lip coat if you want it to stay on.On me the shade wasn't quite as in the bottle - it had some peachy tones, it may look different on you

Since I'm not the makeup wearer, what follows comes from the lady of the manor! The task, colour and smell of this lip gloss is divine. Overall the feel of if on the lips, not so much. The colour of thd bottle is ghe colour of the gloss so it's easy to see which colour to choose. The wand has a larger oval spongy sort of applicator that makes it difficult to apply with precision but it is easy to clean off with a wipe. The colour stayed true and defined throughout the day and is identical to the colour on the wand. So didn't need reapplying. The only negative is it is easy to apply a little too much leaving it feeling heavy and greasy. That said,if you want to make a statement this is the lip gloss for you.Practice applying before going out.

This is somewhere between lipstick and lip gloss, giving intense colour, good coverage and high gloss. It’s a liquid so goes on with an applicator. It goes on unevenly, and needs a bit of work to get an even finish. Once you’ve got the hang of it, it’s a decent gloss. While not exactly the same kind of thing, we preferred Revlon’s Ultra Licolor (which we tested last week for Amazon), which has less gloss but is a lot easier to use and is a lot less expensive. This one from Maybelline is not our favourite in the range but, if you’re a Mabelline fan and you like liquid glosses, then this one is likely a must-have for an eye-catching look.

This is a fruity tasting lip colour. On first glance, you would think this is a dark purple, but it isn't. It's more like a rose-purple, or a more mauve version of cerise - very flattering and bold. It stays on well, lasting several hours with strong colour. The brush applicator is well defined, and helps to ensure the application accurately follows the line of the lips - easier than with a lip stick.Really like this - recommended

Maybelline do make lovely make up products at a great price and this is another example. This Color sensational vivid lip lacquer is a stunningly deep colour (only for the brave) and stays looking good for a few hours before a retouch is needed. Came off well when I went to bed as well. Lovely lovely product.

I thought I would finally give this deep red a try, but I really didn't get on with it. The colour was just a bit too deep and the applicator isn't the best to use either. However the texture felt nice enough on my lips though and I would certainly use the same product but in a different shade perhaps.

I have the 'Too Cute' shade which is a pale-ish salmon-pink. It suits my complexion, and I love pinks. It is almost glossy and the pointed wand helps accurate application.Having been more used to standard roll-up lipstick, this is a novelty for me.I like it!

A beautiful colour that is pretty bold and luscious. It gives you a brilliant set of shiny lips. It is rather sticky and gloopy when on your lips so you may not want to wear it when eating. But you can apply it in small bits at a time to get the desired effect.

Perfect nude for my complexion. Would recommend for anyone in the fenty 330-350 ish range looking for a nice nude. Even better when paired with a lip liner. I use a mauve/grey one and they marry beautifully. Lasts long also.

I really liked this lipstick. It was glossy without being slippery and the colour is super intense. It's long lasting and didn't bleed for me. I've recommended this to friends who have bought in other colours and loved it.

I’m pleased with these lipsticks I have both colours and there so pigmented but like a gloss but not Too wet but full of colour, just really like these liquid lipsticks as there not matte and they stay for hours!
