I've tried various methods to stop me biting my nails and finally I have found one that works! My fingernails (see photo) have never been this long in 40 years! I gave a 1* rating for flavour because the taste is horrible and bitter - but that's what makes it so effective (hence the 5* rating). It leaves a slight gloss on the nails but that helps to show when it is wearing off and needs a re-coat, when the gloss fades away; despite hand washing etc, this stays on your nails for two or three days which is great. The small bottle will last a long time, so good value in my opinion. The photo was taken after 20 days of use. Personally I recommend this product as it worked for me.

I am so impressed with this product. My son has bad nail biting habits and I had tried everything and didnt work.As soon as this arrived I applied one coat on his nails straight away and the reaction I was very pleased by. As it tastes nasty he would put his finger near his mouth and the best part it doesnt wash off and will last 2 days. So although it seems its not much of the product but it will last as you dont have to apply daily and the effect last for 2 days.I am really pleased with it and would highly recommend it

I’ve been a bitter for over 20 years. Have tried similar products but they wear off too quickly and don’t stop me from biting. This one did the job so far. Usually I need to apply every day but it can last a couple. It doesn’t smell but the taste is strong so that’s perfect. As mentioned in other comments, it affects anything you touch (mainly food). So for cooking or eating with your hands you’d better wear some gloves

This stuff tastes horrid which is good because it definitely does its job! But the taste does transfer when you eat finger food so I had to remove it from the nails on my right hand. But due to having the polish on my left hand nails, it naturally makes me not want to bite the nails on my right hand, so I guess it depends on your willpower too

20 years of nail biting have come to a stop thanks to my determination and the incredibly disgusting taste of this stuff. I wouldn't reccomend any other product (having tried most of them). Apply every day for the first week and every other day thereafter. The taste doesnt become tolerable like other products

Brilliant product and I use it every day. I've bitten my nails for 50 years and this has been the only product to stop me plus, they've not split or broken! Tastes revolting!For the first time in 50 years I've got strong nails to be proud of! Highly recommend this product.

I have been bitting my nails for a long time and thought I would purchase this as it has come to a point we’re they hurt. Applied to the nails and half hour later forgot about it and put nails in month and leaves a nasty after taste

Absolutely vile taste, but works brilliantly, I have bitten my nails for 50 years and now I have stopped finally due to this product, I have tried several other products over the years but they have never worked

Very very goodIt stopped my 8 year old biting and his nails grew property.I used it every day nit as advised because I didnt want him biting after it washed off in the shower and washing hands.

This is only answer to my nail biting habit. It tastes vile and therefore stops me nibbling. I apply it regularly for first week or more and maybe twice a week thereafter. Nails are looking fab?

My 3 year old repeatedly vomitted after biting his nail and now almost forgotten the bad habit. Definitely worth trying! Absolutely horrible taste, even after several washing. So worth it!

Been meaning to buy this for such a long time for my 10 year old. It’s such an amazing product, taste disgusting and extremely bitter which does the job. Highly recommend.
