This review is for the Lil’ Gleemerz GCN62 Loomur Furry Friend, Purple, Interactive Talking Toy with Light Up TailThis is a fun, small interactive toy that responds to touch and sound by displaying an array of vibrant colours and different phrases. There is over 100 interactions to discover, which makes this small toy the most feature packed one I have ever come across next to furbies.Build Quality:It is made entirely from highly durable plastic, looks adorable and you can tell a lot of detail has went into the product. The tail is long, furry and quite stiff.Interaction:When you first turn the gleemur on using the switch at the back of its head,it will yawn and wake up from sleeping. It has many ways to interact with it using its 4 interactive touch points that are also very responsive, such as massaging the front and the back of its head, tapping its tail or pressing its nose. There is a sensor on the forehead and at the back of the toys head that when massaged it will either purr or get angry at you.Pinching its tail will make it laugh, snort and even fart. Something that my niece particular enjoyed listening to as she thought the farts were hilarious.Game Modes:Pressing its nose will enable you to cycle in between its three different modes; hangout mode, light party mode and game mode that provided endless fun.Hangout mode is where the gleemerz personality shines and the more you interact with it, the more you learn of its likes, dislikes and the phrases it says. In this mode it will also tell jokes and answer yes or no questions. In light party mode, the gleemerz tail will react to the beat in which it hears and synchronise its lights. If you don’t have music, you can clap or use your voice. You can also change the colour of its tail lights by holding its tail while in this mode, or change the direction of its lights by stroking its head.In game mode you can play three different games: Catch the kiss, tail tennis and stop on the spot.Battery Saving:After a while of not interacting with it, the gleemer will whistle and shout phrases in order to get your attention. Although, if you don’t interact with it for a full minute it will go back into sleep mode.In order to wake it back up, you can either touch its nose for up to three seconds or switch the power button off and on.Once the battery starts dying, the gleemer cleverly lets you know by phrasing “uh oh, please change my batteries”.It uses three AA batteries to operate which comes provided.Overall thoughts:This little toy despite its size comes feature packed with many interactions which will never leave your child bored. The quality is high and for the price it is definitely value for money. I would highly recommend this for your child.[3 images and 1 video attatched]

Absolutely amazing interactive toy.Very much remind me of one I had as a child.Gets your child involved in so much interaction. Gets them communicating too. Absolute genius.Plays beautiful random magical sounds. Can interact with the nose button, tail button at the tip or stroking the hair. You click the nose to change the mode. Whether to play or talk etc. There is a switch at the back with either I or X.I is left on and will randomly make noise, sounds or start conversations to encourage your child to interact.X is still on but will say goodnight friend. This mode doesn't randomly start talking or lighting up.Will only interact if buttons are pressed.Plays 3 different games:Catch the kiss - green lights get sent down the tail with kiss sounds to the tip where you press the button to catch it. Be careful though, sometimes your friend will send farts instead of kisses, do not catch those! The lights increasingly get faster and at the end of the game your friend will count your points and tell you how well you did.Tail tennis - bounce the tail back and fourth with your friend. When the light hits the tip of the tail send it back, your friend will fart the ball back to you. Gets increasingly faster and at the end your friend tells you how well you did.Stop on the spot - a green light is situated in the centre of the tail. A red light bounces back and fourth on the tail and you have to press the tail button when it lands on the green light. Gets increasingly faster and then at the end your friend says how well you've done.Always press the tail to start game. You can change the game by either clicking the nose a few times again or stroking the hair which will just run through each game with you to choose from. When you interact with just the tail your friend will laugh in many different ways. When stroking the head your friend will purr.Has a few random sayings and sounds.• blows kisses• has a light party• says let's hang out and play• says night friend when changing to X mode.• says all this no playing is making me sleepy• says I have a rainbow tail and I'm not afraid to use it.• says I missed you a lot, let's hang out and play• says I'm all ears• yawns• snores/fake sleepsVery gorgeous design, very eye catching.Adorable and justifiably one of the cutest toys I've seen for a while.Very fluffy tail which lights up rainbow colours.Very durable.Comes with 3 AAA batteriesalready in the toy.Would 100% recommend absolutely amazingComes with mini instructions to use.

I love this toy. It's soooo darn cute, and actually has so many features including secret reactions (apparently there are 100 to unlock!) Considering the price it's an absolute bargain when you compare it to something like Fingerlings!Pros:- It's such a cute design and the tail is really soft. Any child who loves fluffy things will love this!- Hangout mode: you can just hangout with your little Gleemer, stroke it, press the button on its' tail. It can ask you to ask it a yes no question too so it must have some sort of microphone- Light party mode: You can put music on or clap to get its' tail to light up, the louder the more colours of the rainbow you get- Game mode: The games are actually really good for hand eye coordination. An example of a game is "catching the kiss" - so the tail lights up in green and when the light gets to the end you press the tail button. If it's a whoopsie and it lights up on red you ignore it. There are also other games like tail tennis and other things. It really is feature rich- You can get it to tell jokes by putting your fingers on the back of its' head for a few seconds- You can unlock secret reactions like "Happy Birthday" (by pressing the tail button 20 times) as just one example- It feels comfortable to hold, sturdy and the tail bends and can be manipulated really easily- It genuinely offers hours of play! It reminds me of a Furby with all of the different possible reactions- Really good value for what it is. You get so much for the low price pointCons:- It says for ages 5 and above, not necessarily a con but it's a shame younger kids can't play with it! Always supervise your kid with small partsMy almost-6 year old niece absolutely loves it. Anything cute with big eyes and she's sold - and this is just the most perfect little pet that gives feedback through touch and games too. Can't recommend it highly enough as a gift for any young loved one. They will love it no questions asked.

My children all absolutely love this crazy, cheeky little creature. By pressing its nose, stroking its head and doing various actions, it lights up, says cheeky phrases and it seems to be currently endless what this Lil Gleemer can do!From what I gather from my children, pressing the creatures nose activates different modes including Game Mode, Light Show Mode, Hangout Mode and probably more. You can stroke its tail, the back of its head, you can pat its head and it activates different phrases, noises, games etc and they are having ridiculous amounts of fun discovering more each day. It's almost a bit like a Furby with the level of different things it can do,say and they style of voice etc but obviously unique in itself too.It has a hard body with fluffy hair and a fluffy soft tail which lights up, its eyes also light up and it is most spectacular when it is dark as it shows up much better and can glow like a nightlight too! There's different colours to collect, I'm not sure if they interact with eachother or if they do different things but i've noticed that some colours in the range like Black and Teal are currently £10 than this colour Orange, so it may be worth purchasing those colours first while they're cheaper to see if your children like it!Amazing fun, it has quite an irritating but cute high pitched voice which might get annoying for adults after a while but I know for sure my children think its totally adorable, its their new pet and they can't leave it alone! Hours of entertainment and I think these will really catch on! Recommended!

The one I received for review was the black one, costing £15; this is the cheapest in the range, and the most expensive (orange) costs £10 more.I have to be honest – I can’t stand this sort of toy, so I got my wife to play with it instead. She had great fun before she let our little grand-daughter near it:“The thing I like most is the variety of the phrases and noises that it produces; they are all in a vague American child's voice, but it’s totally intelligible, unlike some toys of this type. The light-up eyes and tail are fun too, and the toy really lights up a room; I’m not sure if this makes it a good bedtime toy, but it's certainly bright and colourful. There are various pressure spots over its body which, when pressed, starts a different mode, so your child won’t get bored too quickly. You can also hang it from things, as its paws are curved to enable this. A shelf or a laptop works well. You can pat its tail too to ask it questions; I couldn’t worked out how to do this, but our grand-daughter did.The box says it 'looks a lil’ like a panda', but the tail, its colour and the shape of its face make it look more like a skunk; it could be almost any small animal. My wife felt it was good value at £15, and sure to become a favourite which will keep your child happy for ages.

You should have heard the noise my little nephew made when i gave him this!! Yep, instant love. Hes still a very fluffy child (his parents words!). He loves my little pony, unicorns, rainbow colours, kittens etc, so anything that fits in these categories is perfect for him.He pressed its nose through the hole in the front of the packaging and its tail lit up with rainbow colours, then the packaging had to come off as quickly as possible! The voice has a lot of different phrases, im a bit sad its American (nothing against Americans obvs) as the kids seem to use more and more American language as most of their TV is from the USA. It would be nice if the voice was more UK based. It is an interactive toy and has a few games, the games all involve the tail and pressing the end of the tail button at the right time. The toy also farts. A popular child friendly noise (with the nephews anyway). The games arnt going to have any lasting quality but its nice that the toy has so many different facets to it. It has games, says things, farts and will produce a light show to music (nephew isnt into music yet). That said he loves the toy and it currrently has overtaken 'Bearey' (a bear) as number one toy that goes everywhere! Id recommend this to anyone who thinks their kid will like it!!

I like this bright Glorange Furry Friend Gleemerz talking toy (one of the Lil Gleemerz series) with its strange looks and long quirky tail, which is very soft and silky. The LED tail lights up like a rainbow and keeps on doing so as you go through the actions. 'Let's have a light party' is one in question, where you press the end of the tail and then it does disco dance ending in a kind of fart! Let us say rather a taut raspberry. It is fun as there are various place to press from its nose, to the back of its head, when it does all different things. In fact it is quite funny and in-your-face and has 100 reactions of discovery and also plays games with you. I listened to a lot of these and some of them were surprising. You can press the nose in three ways which give 'light party, games mode like catch the kiss, tail tennis and stop on the spot'. It has little paws that move and hang on to the things and its large eyes glow and light up. The whole product is quirky. However, 2 things I didn't like were its body hardness and its tail was difficult to press. Also I think it would have improved being more huggable. It has 2 batteries included and is meant for 5 years and upwards. 4* for this toy.

Our 5 year old daughter loves toys that light up, that are furry and that are based around cute animals. This light up Lil’ Gleemerz toy meets all these criteria. The toy arrives packaged in card and plastic. There is a hole in the packaging which enables you to test out the light up tail so if this is being bought as a present you can make sure it is working.Once out of the packet it is easy to operate and play with and our daughter loves it. She likes taking it out with her to show off to anyone who will listen and it often sleeps in her bed as she finds the light up function comforting is she wakes in the night. The interactive talking function is not overly simple to use but at 5 years old our daughter is not too bothered with the detail in this, she just enjoys that is talks in any way at all. If she were older then this might be a bit of a learning curve to operate in the best way possible but at the moment she just loves talking to it and making it light up.Although this is not the most sophisticated interactive toy it is really lovely to play with on a more simple level and at the current price of under £10 for this model is a bit of a bargain.

I received this item delivered by Royal Mail signed for , it was packaged in a envelope box .Li'l Gleemerz Glorange is just one available from this range of toys .Glorange is as expected orange in colour , it already has batteries inside so until they run out I have no idea how many or what size it takes .He's a cute little panda type bear he has huge eyes which light up as does his tail , if you press his nose he starts to speak , an Americanised voice much like a cartoon . He has over 100 different reactions and plays games with you , (which is probably one of the reasons this is recommended for children above the age of 5 ).I'm certainly he will be well played with and loved .Toys don't come cheap these days and interactive ones are often highly overpriced ,this little man is priced at £24.99 while his counterparts priced lower between £14.99 - £18.79 . If you're going to get the entire collection it may prove expensive . But then you can't put a price on stimulating a childs imagination .Yes I recommend this product as it will bring hours of interactive imaginative play .If you have found my review helpful please press the button below

Very cute and adorable interactive toy, with multi-coloured light up tail and eyes. Simply turn on by pushing the nose, which is also used to select the different modes available. The voice isn't that bad, but does have a slight Americanised accent to it - by the end of Christmas Day it could be driving you, not your child, mad. Luckily enough there is an on/off switch on the backTouching the tail, hair, etc instantiates a response and so does sound. You can change the colour of the tail, single or multi-coloured and direction the light moves: Bottom to Tip or Tip to Bottom. Loomur has a good bank of interactions, but I personally experienced all 100 yet. This definitely leans towards the younger, not older, child. At the time of writing, the pricing on these is very confusing, as there seems to be a significant variation. I can't understand why. At the lower end, I think this is actually good value, but not at the top end. I would say that "Loomur" is slightly overpriced, but does offer a reasonable amount of interaction and would make a great Christmas or Birthday present.

This Mattel Lil’ Gleemerz is super cute. This one is orange with a white furry tail and pink hair on its head and tail tip. It comes with short life batteries (it will need 3 AAA batteries) and has a demo mode so you can press its little pink nose in the box. Out of the box there’s a switch on the back to turn it on fully, by rubbing its hair, pressing its nose or tail it has lots of different noises and phrases, it’s eyes light up different colours and it likes to play games with you, it also has a terrible wind problem lol. I think any child will love it as it talks randomly and encourages you to interact. It works amazingly well with music when you press its nose and play music it’s rainbow lights tail lights up in time to the music,or even if you clap, very clever. It has different laughs too and over 100 different sounds, words and reactions. It’s front paws move up so you can hang it on something like a computer monitor or the edge of a child’s bedside table or bunk bed. I’m sure my young grandson will love this one, I do. Please see my photos and short video, thank you.

This Lil' Gleemerz interactive toy is a soft and cute little creature that has the added bonus of LED lights and interactive speech. The LED's are in the creatures fluffy tail and light up when you play games. One game is called Tennis and a light goes down the tail and when it reaches the end you have to squeeze it and the light will bounce back up towards the body. You lose if you don't squeeze it in time.Another game is where they put a light in a random spot in the tail and when your light goes down you have to pinch the tail to stop it. They are basic games, but strangely fun.The other thing it will do is put on a light show, which could be quite relaxing for children at night time.It also talks, these are random phrases and start when you push it's nose. It'll say things like "let's play a game" to get the child interacting with it.It takes batteries, which are supplied and it has movable ears as well. The body is hard, but the tail and hair on it's head is soft and nice to stroke. This looks cute and is fun to play with on quiet afternoons or car journeys.

Lil' Gleemerz are a cute, talking toy, where the games you can play with it, are based around the light up tail. The tail has a series of LED lights, which can be several colours, creating a wide spectrum of patterns. These patterns, accompanied by noises (including squeaks, bleeps, cheers and raspberry noises) allow for a series of games to put reflexes to the test. They get progressively harder, which means the toy can offer longevity.Beyond the tail games, you can ruffle it's hair (and it tells you off), adapt it's pose and tail and use several spots which are touch sensitive, each offering responses. It's full of cute - asking where you went if you stop playing and offers lots of positive reinforcement when playing. It's quite delightful, even Amiglows eyes light up.There are no sharp bits although younger children may want to suck the tail, so beware. Primary school children should adore it.As a long term watch out, the hair does get caught in the ears when they rotate, but it's only a few strands every so often.

This is a super cute toy that comes in a range of colours and styles. The tail and eyes of the animal light up and there are several different ways to interact with it.Pressing the nose, patting its head, squeezing its tail or clapping, each one illicits different responses. It plays games, music, tells jokes, farts, burps and growls, which every child will find very amusing. The body is hard but the tail is really soft and fluffy, so it’s not the sort of toy that you can cuddle but the little hands/paws are shaped so that they can hook over a laptop, lamp or similar surfaces.I think it will have limited appeal as the games can be a bit tedious and it will probably end up hooked over a photo frame collecting dust.Recommended for age 5+ which is about right in my opinion, any younger and they won’t understand the games but I don’t think it will appeal to kids once they reach 8+.It’s on offer at the moment and a good price but I think the rrp is a little on the high side for what you get.Hope you found my review helpful.

I got this for my four-year-old goddaughter, who loved it right out of the box. Straight away, she enjoyed the vocal responses her furry friend gave when she pressed its nose. She also responded immediately to the light-up tail, grooming it and bending it into different shapes. The box claims this Lil' Gleemerz furry friend has over 100 responses. I can't confirm this, as so far I've witnessed only about 20, but I have faith the others will be revealed in time. By far the best vocal response, I reckon, is the furry friend's happy sound: a bit like a cat's purr but unique. Pure joy. This toy comes with batteries already loaded (a welcome change). How long batteries will last if kids perpetually press the furry friend's nose to hear vocal responses is another question entirely. Another question is how many times parents can hear the furry friend saying, "Let's have a light party!" before being driven out of their minds. But if the kids are happy, which my goddaughter definitely is, that's the important thing.
