I used to have a carry case for my He-Man figures shaped like Castle Greyskull. Not only did it look cool, you could also play with it. The 'Disney Pixar Cars Ultimate Launcher' does the same thing. You can store all your Cars toys, but also play with it as once laid flat you can use it to launch the cars. This is a simple button press that launches the cars. It is a fun way of starting a race for your cars.The entire thing is made from light plastic which makes it great for carrying, but a little on the weaker side. I certainly would not want to drop it too often. The front flap clicks into space so that you can store cars and carry them. It comes with Lightening McQueen so you will want to fill it with other cars.

For a toy that doesn’t require batteries it works quite well and doubles as a storage case for other Cars in the range. I do like that this uses the normal sized Cars rather than the mini ones but only 1 Lightning McQueen is supplied so it can be a little boring as he doesn’t have anyone to race against. The idea is you unclip the compartment, pull back the orange levers and push the buttons to push the cars out. On a rug they don’t go far but do work better on a wooden or tiled floor although we find they tend to turn so if there were a lot more cars I think there would be a lot of crashes. There is some assembly required but this just involves putting up the billboards and attaching the ramp

Ever since I was a child I always liked playing with cars. My parents were not rich so only had limited toys. The craze never diminished and I started buying toys for my grandson as I had three beautiful daughters and they were into dolls and stuff.My grandson is three years old and he lives everything I buy as he enjoys my company and get to play with toys again without people noticing. LolThis Disney Pixar launcher set is very well made as all Mattel brand toys are expected to be. One car is included in the set. Launcher is spring loaded type and it sends car rolling down about 6 to 10 feet. I had other non-Disney cars so I tried those just to check if cheaper cars can be launched too.

This review is for the Disney Pixar Cars Ultimate Launcher.This Disney Pixar launcher set is very well made, light and sturdy as all Mattel brand toys are. One car is included in the set - The lightning mc’queen character.The launcher is spring loaded and when pressed, it unlocks the barriers and sends car rolling. It has 8 lanes which can fit up to 8 different disney pixar cars.There are over 100 disney cars available for purchase if you wish, although I tried testing other non-Disney cars to ensure that they can be launched as well and it works. Therefore, if you would rather opt out and buy cheaper cars they work just as good.It doubles as a very light-weight,

On it's own and with the one supplied car it's pretty boring and could soon be shelved.Add a couple more cars or if you already have more cars then it's not too bad but still limited play functionality.NOW...add some more children to the equation, all with cars to race and this could be the centre piece for some fun and imaginative racing.I could see this being well played with in an environment like a nursery, bringing the children together to battle and race each other. It's great that you can fold it up and carry it but where too? Why? Only if you're visiting friends or family with more children to get involved.On it's own, one car, one child not worth the money. Our grandson loves this Disney Pixar Cars Ultimate Launcher because he can load it with his favourite Cars cars and set them all off in a race together. His parents love it because when his finished playing he stores all his cars in it and puts the whole lot away tidily, without leaving them spread out over the floor. We love it because its lovely to see the enthusiasm and joy on his face while his playing with it. It really does spark his imagination. Its one of those toys where everyone's a winner, even one of the cars. Perhaps a little on the pricey side at a tad under £30. It feels more like a £20-£25 toy, but I guess that's the price of a movie tie in license.

This is a great launcher which doubles up as a storage case for up to 8 of your favourite Cars. It comes almost fully assembled and only needs a plastic ramp and decorative flags to be slotted in place whick takes seconds. The box itself feels well made and sturdy. Simply undo the main flap, pull back the two triggers, load 8 of your fastes cars, and push down on the two buttons to watch them shoot out of the front and see who wins! My daughter absolutely loved it. It comes with a Lightning McQueen. Loses a star because the other Cars are quite expensive so it'll cost a lot more for a full set of 8 cars.

My kids love this Disney Pixar Cars Ultimate Launcher 8-lane race set and have great fun.It is made nicely and tidy,sturdy and looks stylish,easy to use.My kids found it very interesting because two people can play at same time if you want organise race,or just use it as a garage or storage box for favourite model cars.We use smaller model cars,so they are not from this set and I realised that they weren't stable.I would reccomend to buy additional Ultimate Launcher cars instead of using any .

A good toy that shoots the cars from Cars across the floor or across the table - and that's all it does. I have to say the pictures make this toy look mega exciting and to a 4 year old it is - providing it's FULL of cars. However, you only get one car and have to purchase the other 7 if you want it full of fun. The toy feels durable and has had some good use by my children. It just feels a tad disappointing that once the cars have shot out from the blocks, you have to start pushing them.

My grandson loved this, placing his cars in the slots and then sending them so of together, racing dvd seeing which car gets to the target first. Love this why hasnt this been invented before, however many children love playing with cars and racing them with only two hands normally only two cars car race, but this allows me cars to go off at the same time. This was such a hit at Christmas.

Overall I think this is worth a £20/£25 value. I think it’s a great toy for any cars fan, my one year old loves it.However, the right leaver on mine is broke so I am getting a replacement sent. The lightening mqueen toy is also plastic and nothing in comparison to the Disney metal ones.Overall I think it’s worth it.

Great speed launcher. Some reviews mention cars don't go very far, this is true on carpeted areas but on a laminated floor they can go 4-6 ft! My son loves it and it's brilliant to carry his cars around in too! I would certainly recommend if you have a laminated floor.

Our boy loves this and plays with it every day, it's cost us a fortune in buying Disney branded cars, but it's worth it for the smiles. It can launch cars about 3ft so he loves that too and really enjoys role-playing the scenes out of the movies.

Bought it to add to my son's ever growing collection of cars obsession but it only shoots the cars out nothing else other than a good place to store the growing cars collection

My son loves this and hasn't stopped playing with it since he got it. Although the cars don't travel very far on carpet, on a hard floor it launches the cars several metres.
