The simplicity of this product is evident right from the second you open the box. No leads or instruction books flying everywhere... all you see is the headphones perfectly molded to the case with a very elegant looking leather box containing two leads, a USB charger and a connection lead (should you wish to use the headphones without bluetooth). I got them working with my iPhone via bluetooth in a matter of seconds. Connection is seamless and there are no issues (some headphones with bluetooth give an audible buzzing when connected which can be annoying... these do not do that).Material wise they are lightweight and it is very clear they are made from the highest quality components. The headband can be adjusted to the size of your head if needed. An equally as elegant looking pouch is included made of a really strong fabric with a magnetic close. There is even a smaller compartment to keep the leads separate. They are very comfortable over the ears. I've worn them for around two hours at a time and not found them uncomfortable in the slightest. I've worn them to the gym and got on ok with them but they did fall off at times if for example, I was doing moves involving bending down to the floor. I don't think they are meant for gym use but they can be used with caution. The left ear has a sliding button to navigate the headphones between off and on or make them discoverable via bluetooth. The right ear has three buttons. The outer buttons control the volume and the middle button pauses/plays the music. If you hold down the volume buttons this skips to the next track/previous track. I really liked the way this feature was simplified. I've had the headphones about a week now and not had to recharge. I've used them for 1-3 hours per day and the iPhone actually tells you how much battery power is left. Ideal really and thumbs up for the battery life.Soundwise I tried the headphones with as many different kinds of music as I could. Some of the highlights were as follows:Ariana Grande - Into You. Bass line distinctive. Vocals, crisp and clear sitting perfectly over the track. Bass slightly lost in the chorus (likely down to mix, not the headphones).Britney Spears - Toxic. The clarity was really obvious with this track. Every element of the track... lead vocal, backing vocals, hook, bass could be distinguished between perfectly. Gorgeous.Muse - Time is Running Out. Distinctive bass without being overbearing. Clarity between different parts of the recording; perfect again. Especially the bridge where the guitar kicks in.Elvis Presley - Stuck on You. Crisp and clear. as previous tracks despite coming from a much earlier recording period.Michael Jackson - Billie Jean. Ever so slightly tinny to begin with but very immersive as the other tracks were. In the bridges I could hear backing vocals I'd never really noticed before.Pavarotti - Nessun Dorma. This was a live recording. The clarity was so good you can hear the audience and I found myself getting quite lost in it as if I was there listening in person. All in all, I thought the highs, mids and lows were combined down to a tea with these headphones. The sound was gorgeous and I felt I was getting a real "studio" experience from them. At times the bass was perhaps less distinctive than some may like but I would argue this was more down to the way the track is mixed rather than the headphones. What we don't always realise with cheaper headphones and bass heavy ones is that you lose a lot of clarity from the tracks and different elements from the mix get lost. This was particularly evident when listening to Michael Jackson.I think the major question with these headphones is, do I want to spend £400 when there are cheaper "high quality" ones on the market? My personal feelings are that there are perhaps cheaper ones that give you just as high quality sound. Depending on your relationship with music, the differences between "premium" headphones and more affordable ones can be very subtle unless your ears are trained well. As someone who has worked in recording studios, the clarity and difference was evident to me straight away. However, I couldn't help but think for the casual music fan they will be uncertain if it was worth spending the £400, particularly with well known brands like "Beats by Dre" being considerably cheaper. Having said that I've tried other bluetooth headphones and these are by far my favourite.

OK first off you need to warm these drivers up first. Like all good quality speakers and headphone drivers they start to perform better over time. Certainly these take 5 to 10 minutes to warm but OMG once they are up and running what a sound. I am comparing them to B&O and B&W and included a picture of these. The only headset better than these would be GRADO RS1’s but they are 3 times the price. However lets talk about the sound ... the detail is incredible. Use a decent source and you can hear finger tips running up guitar frets. You’d hear detail in songs you’re missed. These were such a joy. Just amazing. Try Acoustic Soul from India Arie. You’ll see what i mean. You can hear her breathing and every nuance in her songs. You can even hear her shuffle around on the seat before she starts to sing. Not your cup of tea? How about DMX - “X gonna give it to you” or AC/DC? The bass punch here is brutal, And perhaps the only criticism is bass is a tad fuzzy at max volume but at this point the drivers are trying to destroy your eardrums. However through the rest of the range the detail is just incredible.I’ve been very lucky in my life to have listen to some of the best Hi-Fi and speakers and headphones in the world, and these? These are right up there but for goodness sake give them time to warm up and then listen.Build Quality is excellent. In fact this is the opposite of most things. The metal fixtures look cheap chrome plastic ... but it’s not. It’s solid aluminium and as such they are weighty. However you won’t care.. you’ll be blown away with the sound ... but yes another tiny point is they are heavy. Quality on ear cups and over ear cups continue with super soft lamb leather and so comfy and delicate. It was a worry as I though the cups are so soft they’ll be blown in a year or so of regular use but good news... you can buy new cups etc. for a reasonable price. Connecting via Blue tooth is simple. No additional app for them is supplied but really not needed to be honest.Switches are simple and battery etc. is simple. No super complex multi push controls on one button etc.Final Word. For the money this is the best set of headphones i’ve had the pleasure of using. I wish I could keep them but the wife spent 5 minutes with them and her top end Dr Beats have been relegated to her draw and she has now adopted these.... they are the nuts.If you have the money and are shopping around at this price point then do yourself a favour ... avoid branding and ‘names’ and buy these. You won’t regret it.

You are reading a review for a pair of Master and Dynamic MW50+ . Firstly I had to say that when I first saw these headphones on Amazon's pages . I was a little sceptical of these at the price they cost . So I decided to read the reviews seeing as they had a high rating . So I decided to gamble , and bought a pair of them .I have now been listening to them for a couple of hours now , And I have to say I'm impressed with the sound of these . I also own a pair of B&O H4's . The big difference between both these headphones is quite obvious really . With the B&O's , when you buy them . The sound is very flat , and you need to download the app onto your phone , ipad etc etc to get the sound balance adjusted to your taste .With the Master's , you don't need an app for sound adjustment (there isn't an app anyways) . The sound is pre set for you . And I have to say that the sound is most impressive indeed . Bright and clear highs and mids are superb . The bass is punchy without being overpowering to the other settings . Of course the sound quality is dependant on the bitrate quality of the download or stream you have ? .These "phones do need a period of burning in . But once that's done ? . They should sound even better .I do highly recommend these to anyone who likes their headphones made of a high standard set of materials . See the other reviews for these ? . Are they worth the money ? . I would say yes they are , but after a long think !!!! 8-)

These were out of stock when I ordered, and the seller kindly offered (without request) to upgrade to the higher spec MW60 over ear headphones (wireless) in their place. They are superb (and stylish), sound is excellent and build quality very good indeed. In addition to which, I was kept in the loop as to how my order was progressing via email. I suggest checking your Junk folder as emails occasionally end up there - no reflection of the seller, I assure you. Well worth the wait. I shall order from this seller again without hesitation.

I really like the "on-ear" pads over the over-ear pads.Sound is very good but not the best in my opinion over my Sony WH 1000XM3 onesThe headband adjustment is limited and could cause some un comfort, not all head sizes are the same, they are ok with me 'JUST'Overall great headphones for looks and build quality.

Excellent sound quality. Clear but rich, slightly warm sounding. I only use these at home so sound isolation is not a big thing for me.Very soft ear cups but little padding on the headband - could do with a fraction more.Very well build - solid but not too heavy.

Good quality sound perfect for gym use. Not as good to use whilst talking on the phone but generally a good product

Everything great except Bluetooth - not a very good connection, keeps ' dropping' in and out as I walk.
