This is an outstanding product and I would highly recommend Marumi filters over Hoya, Tiffen, B+W, etc, mainly because I’ve found that the quality is indistinguishable but the price is lower because Marumi is not as well known.If you research the company, you’ll find that Marumi has a rich tradition of designing and manufacturing world class filters all inside Nagano, Japan since 1952.My experience with Hoya is positive but you’ll note that some of their non “pro” filters are not made in Japan to the same exacting standards as Marumi. The pro stuff is but that’s priced accordingly.In my experience,

I find myself shooting at mid day a fair bit so I picked up a marumi ND8 and some step rings for my fuji lenses after hearing good things about them an a forum. I've been super happy with the results and I'll probably pick up a couple more in the future. Optically the ND8 is very good. I can't speak to the rest of the range but I have no doubt they're just as good. In any case it's far it's better than the hoya pro digital one I used with my cannon. I think these are a really good product at a good price.
