This review is for the Marmot Unisex's Vapor 4P Lightweight 4 Person, 4 Man Trekking, Camping Tent, Absolutely Waterproof, Burnt Ochre which I received to do a review for.This igloo tent comes packed in a small bag approx. 61x23cms and weighs a little over 4kg. The poles and ground pegs are wrapped separately in their own bags, and the assembling instructions are stitched to the bag so you don’t need to worry about losing them. The tent poles are coloured in ochre and grey and some are bent at the end to allow for a more vertical wall. The poles have internal springs to allow them to snap together and there is also a small hollow tube provided that can act as an emergency repair if a pole breaks.There are two spacious apses for equipment between the inner and outer layers.The self-supporting inner space is 208x208cms by 132cms tall, has vents and has several pockets built in for small-ish items. There are two doors to help keep out the weather.Remember to clean it with warm soapy water if necessary and let it dry out after using it in any case to help prevent mould. If you’re not used to folding up tents, I would suggest paying attention to how it is packed when you unfold it for the first time as it is a lot of material to repack.EDIT: I've not used this tent in wet weather yet, but it's rating means it should be dry inside even if it's pouring rain outside.

First impressions will edit once I have used this tent a few times.Marmot is an outdoor brand you can trust for quality, however, don’t have any experience of their tent range.The Marmot Vapor 4-person tent, is a free standing (self-supported), inside up first design.The floor is made of nylon, while the canopy and fly are made of polyester. This tent also features DAC poles. Seams are taped and construction is of very high quality.Packing away, I felt this could do with some compression straps, also I prefer side open tent bags, as the top of the tent bag is narrow.Not sure I would go hiking with 3 friends and if I did, we all would mostly carry our own light weight tents. However,for camping in camp sites next to your car, this tent would be perfect. The size and the weight rules this out of what I would class as the Ultralight category of camping.Other than slightly strange the term “unisex”, are all tents not Unisex, and the fact I would not class this tent as “lightweight” first impressions of this tent is good.

This tent is ideal for my son to take on cross country events when a tent is required he also wanted it to take to vegan festivals next year.This is a 3 person tent but is spacious with plenty of room to move around and to get changed.Very easy to assemble with 2 people (which is a plus as I am not the best at setting things up) instructions are stitched onto the draw string carry bag.Easy to clean with water.There are two doors that help keep the weather out and making it cosy inside.Takes a little time to put away back in bag after use.If you take a few photos as you are assembling the tent this will make it easier when packaging away.Great quality.Really pleased with this brand \tentWouldhighly recommend and I look forward to using it again next year

For the most part this is an awesome tent. Super light and compact it is great for trekking or festivals. It's very easy to put up and down. Love the ample vents, double doors, and spacey awning. It actually feels really robust and well made, like it will last.Inside there is a decent amount of space. Like most 3 man tents, it would be a bit of a squeeze for 3 adults, but perfect for 2 with some bags/equipment.The only negative is that the bottom of the tent is the same material as the fly-sheet/covering, so although it claims to be waterproof (which it is from rain) we find some moisture comes up easily from the ground if there is ANY dew out there. So you're gonna need a ground sheet (not included)unless you're sure it's gonna be bone dry.

This is a fantastic, ultra-lightweight, high quality tent from Marmot that is the perfect companion for your trekking trips. The bold colour is really appealing (and also easy to spot on site!) The tent fits 3 people comfortably if you don’t mind being up close and personal and is ideal for the spring to summer period given it is super lightweight. The materials are really durable and great quality, as you would expect from a reputable brand like Marmot, and given it weighs just 3 kg it is the perfect backpacking tent. It does need a groundsheet though, although it comes with a bag, guy wires and pegs.A really great tent!

Have only tested in the backyard so far but it is soooo much better than the "drizzle-proof" tent we had previously.It keeps out the wind and rain.It is straight forward to set up.As with most 3 men tents this is really for 2 people comfortably 3 if you want to get up close and personal with everyone.It's a unique colour. Haven't seen any other tents this colour before.The kids love it.

Easy to assemble 3-person tent.Keeps out the wind and the rain and that is the most important thing of all.A wee bit expensive but you don't want to skimp on comfort when sleeping outside.Important to clean after use to prevent mould.Decent product of good quality.

Perfect! Best tent ever owned. And we’ve had a lot...Really strong and durable. Size inside is massive!
