Comfortable sleeping bag.The bag itself is lovely and soft. It weighs just over a kilo and compresses down remarkably well. I've read reviews claiming it is bulky; I'm not sure what bag they got, but this isn't that much bigger than my down bag, though it is twice as heavy. Though to achieve this you have to do battle with the compression bag which is a pain in the backside; the straps are really hard to adjust, and the bag is a bit too small to get the bag in easily to start with. However, once it's in, the bag does compress admirably. It has been good for me down to around 2-3'C; lower might be possible, I just haven't tried, and of course these things are individual. There is a 3/4 length zip on the left and a 1/4 zip on the right, which allows one to have both arms out without bringing your body out of the bag - which I really appreciated on a chilly wild camp on a Welsh mountain. The main zip also has a glow in the dark toggle which is handy. One note of criticism is that the right hand zip only zips from the outside, so is hard to operate from within the bag. There is a baffle at the front below your chin, and a small zipped pocket just above your left shoulder position, below the baffle. The hood is massive, but really fluffy and warm. I found I didn't need to cinch the hood up tightly to remain warm as the flouffyness of the insulation did the job well.Another option might be to put your pillow inside the hood, as it is big enough, though I tend to roll the bag with me, rather than roll around in the bag. On which note...there is PLENTY of room within the bag to move about, put your arms out etc. It's a very comfortable bag. Finally, it does not seem to attract water. It doesn't seem to have a repellent coating, but even after a night being brushed up against a dripping wet tent wall it was effectively dry when I rolled it up.

I'm 6'4", and standard sleeping bags have always been a bit on the small size for me. This Marmot sleeping bag is absolutely ideal for the taller user. It is lightweight, and folds up really small for carrying (2 storage bags are provided). It is a "Mummy" style bag, and therefore significantly cosier than a normal sleeping bag. I actually think this is ideal for all year round use. I used mine at overnight temperatures of close to 0c, and it was nice and warm. I have also tried it on a warmer night (13c) because I wondered whether I would get too hot, but it was absolutely fine. In the summer months you can leave it unzipped to allow better air circulation, or use it as a cover. It is exceptionally well made, and the nylon material is breathable. The polyester lining is nice and soft, ensuring a good nights sleep. It is also water resistant, although I wouldn't recommend exposing it to heavy rain!! The bag is suitable for people up to 6'6", although a smaller version is available for smaller users.Pricewise it is expensive, but it is a case of getting what you pay for. I think it is an excellent sleeping bag, and ideal for camping, hiking due to its lightweight qualities, great insulation, and the small amount of space it takes up. Highly recommended.

It's great to have a sleeping bag for tall people. You'll need to ensure you have something comfortable between you and the ground as you don't get much movement in this mummy-shaped bag. It oozes quality, and the designers have thought of everything. It's super light and eco-friendly is made from recycled materials - no goose down in sight The synthetic HL-Elixir Eco micro insulation is made up from three different fibres. These ensure the bag's inusulation.guarantees good insulation. This sleeping bag is suitable for three seasons (not summer). It fits the body perfectly and an extra zip provides additional ventilation. The 20D 100% nylon ripstop outer material is breathable and windproof. We haven't temperature-tested it yet, but the manufacturers claim it keeps the wearer warm in external temperatures up to -23.2°CIt comes with a cool-looking storage bag and can be compressed quite small. It's also lightweight, so great for trekking. Worth every penny of the high price tag.

Descent sleeping bag.The compression sac is rather hard to use - the straps don't move through the catches very easily, making it a two handed job for each of them. It also doesn't compress the bag as much as other bags I've had.The bag itself is comfortable and warm. I like the second zip on the other side which allows you to get your arms free without having to slide out of the bag and into the cold. However there aren't toggles on them, and they are outside only zips, making it hard to do the zips up when you're in the bag, which of course you will be. There is a baffle at the front below your chin which isn't something I've seen before, and is a good idea as it stops warm air exiting from the face hole. All in all,it's a decent bag, with some obvious ergonomic flaws but also some unique ideas. I'd be happy to take it camping down to freezing.

This is a really lovely, premium quality sleeping bag from Marmot that is ideal for use in multiple seasons. The extra-long length is perfect for taller people such as me, and the “mummy” style design makes you feel really cosy and snug, even if the weather is blowing a gale outside! The blue colour is bright and appealing, while the synthetic padding offers good insulating properties even if it gets slightly damp. All materials used are of excellent quality, and I also really appreciate the eco credentials of this particular model. The bag also comes with two bags — a storage sack as well as a stuff sack, giving you everything you need to keep it in great condition for years to come!Another quality product from Marmot that is guaranteed to become a well-used item in our camping inventory!

This is a really long sleeping bag. When opened out it is longer than my sofa including the arms so perfect for a tall person or someone who likes a lot of room. The sleeping bag comes in a large net drawstring bag so when unpacked you can see and feel the thickness of it. The sleeping bag has a hood and is `mummy` style in shape. A smaller drawstring bag comes with it and when rolled up the sleeping bag takes up no more room than a small bag. It is very lightweight so ideal for hiking or camping. The bag seems well made with good stitching although I do think it is pricey. I let my grandson test it out over the weekend and he said that it was warm and comfortable. Ideal for unexpected guests or regular campers, hikers, truckers.
