I'm by no means an expert on fins but I noticed two things about these particular fins. First, they are probably less than half the weight of my original fins (may actually need to compensate weight for descending if you're right on the mark). Second, I used to get cramps due to having to work so hard with other fins, but not so with these. They are a little pricey but for me, it was worth it.

These fins have plenty of giddyup if you're a regular diver; others post complaints of leg cramps. I find them easy to transfer energy from your legs to propulsion. Lightweight, which is great for travel. Unstrapping mechanism is great for doffing in waves. Would recommend.

Very nice fins! I bought an XL (I wear a size 11) and they are a bit large but they fit fine with my boots. I probably could have gotten by with a large. Just used them on 5 days of diving in Cozumel and they worked great. Love the quick release!

Fantastic fins that take a little getting used to. The hinges feel like you are gently bumping into something, until you get used to them. The buckle system is excellent, and it helps that these fins actually float.

Excellent fin. Will cause cramps if legs are out of shape. Good thrust. Straps are ok buckles are tempermental and not tolerant of sand. Replaced mine with spring straps and havent looked back.

Effortless with great power and less fatigue ... these are my second set of SCUBA fins and I will continue to use this style/brand
