Manfrotto products are usually well made and this was no exception. It feels to be of solid metal construction with a smooth sliding action and the leg clips have a very positive lock, although the cap over the screw seems a bit of a gimmick. A good compromise between providing a reasonable height and an overall compact size when closed. Sold as used by Amazon Warehouse, with damage to packaging which was so slight it could have been missed, the monopod itself was perfect. Pink may not usually have be my first preference for photographic accessories, but at £6 instead of £20 I'll man up to it, no problem.

Excellent tripod for a beginner in photography. Works with the Nikon P900 camera as well as many others. It’s easy to set up and adjusting the height is very simple. I wouldn’t recommend this tripod for those that wish to shoot professional video as its quite bumpy when moving the camera in different directions. Amateur photographers, this is definitely for you. Excellent price and the tripod is very sturdy. Perfect if all you want to do is take pictures of things that don’t move quickly,

I purchased this tripod for a Nikon DSLR camera to take landscape pictures and slow shutter shots at night.I was recommended to purchase one by Manfrotto as they do a lot of "high end" camera products. This is not the cheapest tripod on the market but as one of their entry level lines provides great value for money. It is well constructed, comes with a bag and has attachments for other camera makes. It extends to a good height (useful for shooting over fences etc) & provides excellent stability.

This ia a lightweight Monopod that packs away to a very small size. What is it good for:- You can use it to raise your camera above the crowds or hang your camera upside down to get a very low angle. You can use it to help pan a moving object. It is most suitable when used with a lightweight camera. Does it provide a steady platform? I am not too sure about that. I could not get any better results when using the Monopod than just using the image stabalisation built into my various lenses.

The Manfrotto tripod stands tall but has 4 telescopic leg segments, so it collapses into a short length. It has smooth panning and tilting; movement can be fixed to horizontal (panning) only, if needed. The ball gimbal has a lock which is effective and progressive enough. Build quality is good, although mouldings are slightly rough on some corners. There is no spirit level. Not a biggie though - they're available for £1-2. Overall: a good solid product and really deserves 4.5 stars.

I bought this Manfrotto tripod to go with my Nikon D3300 simply by the great reviews it had & I can see why..Not only is it very well made, but extremely sturdy & adjustable for any ground surface. It's light & compact too, it comes with a good quality waterproof padded bag that attaches nicely to my Cristal DSLR Backpack. The handle for aiming your camera feels great & the adjustable lock is so easy to use.. When finished, it folds up in seconds so you can go on to your next shot.

I needed to mount my old DV camera to act as a live feed to show the keyboard and stops of a church organ during a music recital. It performed the task perfectly, although there were two issues compared to one I borrowed previously. The shaft is elliptical, so you have to take care that it doesn't shift when you secure it in place. Also the mount was fixed, so the camera shot perpendicular to the pole: I was used to one where the camera could be tilted. Nevertheless it did the job.

Bought this budget lightweight tripod a few days ago. The locking takes a bit of getting used to as it's not like a normal tripod when it comes to locking down but once used a few times it's fine. If you've never had a tripod before you won't have that problem. I have a heavier tripod which is required for windy days in the countryside and with heavier cameras but this is fine for everything else very reasonably priced. It also reduces into a very small carrying case.

This is a smart looking, light tripod with a good quality bag.The method of attaching it to the camera is ingenious. Dead simple and the small attachment ‘button’ can easily be left on the camera for quick fixing to the tripod later. It is a lightweight tripod, and the legs go quite thin at the bottom. So far, so good, with no problems, but I would keep in mind that this is a lightweight tripod not really designd for cameras that are too heavy.

The reserve online/pick-up at store service worked perfectly. So easy.My Manfrotto monopod is great to use. Quick and easy. And so light to carry (so much less bulky than a tripod). It doubles as a walking stick too (which they don't mention in the description). With or without a camera attached to the top of it!I attach a photo I took with the Manfrotto monopod in Amsterdam (in the rain AND after dark). Not bad eh?

Manfrotto is a well known brand in the camera world. Known for its excellent construction and durabilityThis is a small and compact tripod when closed down and a good working height when fully extended, ideal for holiday or days out when you want to traipse and not carry a bulky tripodThe camera quick release system is very handy and holds the camera securely once on the tripod

I was going to Iceland to see the Northern Lights and didn't want to take my big tripod so thought might be a good replacement. From other reviews I was a bit concerned that my camera would be too heavy, I needn't of worried. Thanks to this little guy, that took up hardly any room in my suitcase, I ended up with some awesome photo's and brilliant memories of a once in a lifetime trip.

Seriously lightweight with a genius quick release attachment, feels secure when fully extended, beautiful design, great features & smart carry case. Was recommened this by a family member whose manfrotto tripod cost three times as much & they look identical side by side. Great value for a Manfrotto & definitely worth spending that bit extra compared to cheaper alternatives.

Lightweight and a bit flimsy looking, but don’t be deceived by appearances. It’s a well engineered piece of equipment and it’s as smooth as silk in operation. Particularly fond of the mount - it’s left in place on the camera permanently. Once it’s extended and set it’s a cracking bit of kit and holds my Nikon DSLR perfectly still for those long exposure shots.

Even though this isnt rated for a dslr weight i needed it in a hurry so took a chance , i have been remarkably impressed with this little monopod . It is very small and light so easy to carry and enabled my camera to be held steady , i will replace with another manfrotto monopod rated for the greater weight of my dslr but this will be great to keep to hand .
