This item is awesome. It is so quick and powerful.Very easy to use, it comes with valves for car, bikes ( for both types of inner tube- presta and schreider) , a needle type for sports balls.It has a forward facing led to illuminate the area you need to inflate when natural light is low.There is an illuminated digital display where you can set your required psi, once it reaches the target pressure it automatically stops.So far I've used this on a car, van, motorbike, football, various bicycles and even an inflatable unicorn ( this does take a bit of time due to volume).The inflator has a 5 minute on 5 minutes off cycle.,considering it takes a few seconds to get to 110psi on a road bike,

Usual Makita quality materials and build. Pumped my car tyre from flat to 30 lbs psi in 2 minutes.Pumped up my Motorhome tyre to 50 lbs psi in 4 minutes. Note that the pump should be used for 5 minute periods at a time to allow for cooling of motor. Has all the usual adaptors usefully clipped into a recess on the machine. Quite quiet in operation and light to carry around. Perfect for putting in the car/motorhome: if stored in a vehicle or at home remember to separate the battery from the pump. Nice piece of kit. Recommended.

Having faffed around with an airline from a compressor in my garage to a cheap and chearful plastic inflator I saw Makita had this in the pipeline - as I already had the correct battery it was not tooooo expensive.The unit is well up to Makita quality, feeling reassuringly good to handle, the air connector is quite easy to attach to a variety of valves, not always in the most accesible places, and the pump makes short work of inflating tyrfes - a top up takes seconds.

Purchased this as I already have a couple makita 18v Batteries.The inflator is very compact and comes with a number of adaptors for different valves.It's very easy to use, just clip the battery in, switch it on, set the pressure you require and then hold the switch down whilst it inflates to the preset pressure.Works effortlessly inflating van tyres, expansion vessels and footballs.Yes I would recommend.

Finally,Makita made a compressor with 18 v battery.Quick,reliable and mobile.Now I can take all my belongings to the beach and pump it in the summer.Probably only one conc is need to buy 1 more extra battery and keep it in the boot.But in general,highly recommended tool for the garage.

I’m a plumber and bought this for expansion vessels but it so much more useful than that.Great for bikes etc and more than capable of topping up the van tyres.Not a replacement for a compressor but it’s not trying to be.Another really useful addition to the Makita 18v family.

fast pump, great if you have other 18V Makita power tools which can share the same battery, digital display ,set desired PSI and automatically stop. Would have been nice if it came with a case but still definitely would recommend.

It is easy to use and well made, set the pressure and away it goes, all my tools are Makita so the cost of a battery was not a problem, just be aware it is not for blowing up air beds etc it is a high pressure low volume pump.

Fully portable, lightweight and reasonably quick at inflations.Purchased a 3.0ah rechargeable battery to go with this inflator and is more than adequate. Pumps up Landrover tyres from flat with ease in 5 minutes

Had a few small tyre compressors 12volt, but hey this little compact 18 volt model blows them out of the water, this is a great bit of kit just like we have come to expect from Makita 5 stars from me!!!!

Works well on car types, built-in pressure gauge is very useful and seems accurate, battery life very good when using 18V 5.0Ah (pumped up several tyres and battery indicator is still on maximum level!)

Tested it as soon as it arrived . Does exactly what it says. Pumped up two tyres to 30psi in minutes. Build quality looks like normal Makita, time will tell. But so far Very happy with my purchase.

Fantastic product large tyres and high pressure are not a problem for this light weight compact tool, I own many 18v Makita products and the quality and performance is what you expect from Makita.

Had cheaper item to inflate items but it broke so already had various Makita tools and batteries so brought item.Inflates quickly easy to use great add to Makita kit.

Brilliant little machine. It you have the 18v range it's very handy. Saves lugging the compressor out the garage to top up tyres. Weighs less than a bag of sugar
