I am very impressed by these! We've been playing with magnatiles for the last year, but as my son has been getting more and more into building I realised we needed more tiles.I went on here and saw these. I really liked the bright colors and the half price sale so I decided to buy and try. These magnets are pretty strong. Much stronger than the magnatiles. You can actually carry your creation around and turn it in circles etc if you wanted and it wouldn't fall apart. I can see how these would be a massive be hit for little kids in that aspect. My son loves building super tall vehicles with these (I also snapped up a vehicle set)and was balling when we had to put them away for bed time.I want to buy more sets but that'll have to wait for later as they are pretty pricey! All in all a fantastic toy I know we will get years of play from.

Bought this for my son that has special needs. He loves MegaBlocks, but I wanted him to try something a little harder to work with. He had lots of frustrations at first, as he didn’t understand what was happening (why are they sticking together?). But now he loves them! He doesn’t build things with them yet, but he explores how the magnets react. Very sturdy, which is excellent, as my son likes to throw things and let them fall on the ground. For kids with fine motor skills problems, this is perfect, as they have a little challenge to separate the shapes when they’re attached. What we do is stick them all one over the other and my son has to separate them. He’s getting better at it!Thought of buying a generic name, but this one’s worth the price.

I bought this set for my 5 year old son for Christmas and he has played with them almost every day since. Easy to use and solid quality there are so many different things to make. A little booklet is included that shows you lots of different designs you can build. This is a good amount of squares and triangles for a starter kit then if you have a real enthusiast you can always buy more.I have seen other brands versions of these and they were not as good quality, flimsier and not as good a product to build with so I would recommend getting the Magformers as they are excellent. They also pack away into the box really nicely and easily.

I think these things are decently built to last a fair amount of time, but not under constant punishment from kids. If they learn to behave and respect the pieces they should last pretty much forever. There is so much you can do with these and it's tons of fun while working their 3d brain a lot. The way they built the casing for the individual magnets is brilliant: they have enough space inside the plastic to shift around themselves which lets them polarize the right way together all the time. It's a neat trick to fight against repulsion of similar magnet games. Kudos

Brought for child aged 5 who enjoys playing with them. The product is well made and allows for creative play, however they are expensive for what you get inside the box as you need two boxes to be able to really enjoy them. There has been much disappointment when after taking the time to build a structure, you have to break it down to build another.I would buy again, and would recommend them... you just have to be prepared to take out a mortgage for this toy!!

Magformers are a firm favourite in our house. You cannot beat them! Yes they are a little on the pricey side but they are super durable and I know that we will still be playing with them for many years to come! My nieces (who are 11 and 9) also loved playing with these when they visited. They are so versatile and easy to transport so they make great "on-the-go" toys for long journeys. All you need is imagination....

These are great fun even for a younger child than recommended. I got them for my one year old and sure he doesn't build with them yet but I build small things and he smashes them and thinks it's hilarious. We also stick them to the fridge and he pulls them off and stacks them up. He will learn to build as he gets older and they are sturdy construction to last a long time.

I bought this for my 6 year old for his birthday and he absolutely loves it! He has made various shapes following the very clear instructions from the booklet which was included. My eldest son who’s 7 is also enjoying playing with it. Although I think it is expensive it’s a good quality toy which is proving very popular. I now have to order another set!

A really good toy , our grandson spent all day playing with these making things in the booklet and using his imagination. They should last for years so really good value for money. He needed some help to fold some of the more complex shapes together but all part of the learning process. When he is not using them, I'm quite happy using them myself!!

My grandchildren both loved this set, which is sturdy and safe for small children. They used the shapes to construct various items and were fascinated by the way the magnets went together. This was a basic set but, now they’re hooked, I shall be buying add on components to increase the number of things they can build with Magformers.

The children love using these but the one is that I was very disappointed about the size of them as they are small. I looked at the dimensions listed and they turned out to be the dimensions of the box the things are in! So they are very good but much smaller than expected.

Excellent for creative play and such a clever idea. However, very expensive and the 38pc is just not enough especially if 2 kids (or adults - they are very addictive!) are playing with them. Am told much cheaper if bought in USA if you know of any friends visiting!

You get a good selection of shapes to start building. The box also comes with some ideas for building however for many of them you need additional packs. You don't get quite enough to build anything elaborate. They are good for building hand eye coordination.

These are quite pricey for how many you get but it is a good construction toy! My kids always ask me to make the ball. It's amazing how they all come together. My children have hours of fun with these and there aged between 3 and 8. Great for all ages

This was a present for my 3 year old nephew and I have been told that he loves playing with this building set. He's had this for a good 6 months now but it's still one of his go-to toys and great for using his imagination. Would definitely recommend.
