When this headset arrived in the mail I was excited to open it as the packaging and phones looked awesome! The headset comes in a hard plastic crystal box that looks very cool. When I opened the box the phones were very neatly presented and held by the casing with a box beneath the headset that included instructions, a very nice cloth bag to hold the fold-able phones, mad catz stickers and leads.This headset is the best make I have ever worn and would love to get some of mad catz other products. I am so impressed by their design and presentation.The headset is very comfortable and fits very nicely on my head and over my ears. It feels solid, slightly weighty but not uncomfortably so.

They're designed specifically for gaming which is why the musical reproduction through these headphones is not as good as a dedicated set. However, gamers won't be buying them so that they can listen to the Top 40 - they just want to enjoy the immersive sound that this set delivers. The headphones have decent sized 40mm drivers, up to 24 hours of battery life on Bluetooth and two connecting leads - one for using the set wired, and the other is a micro USB lead for charging the set. I've mostly used them via Bluetooth and have found them easy to pair up, and have good range.They feel solid enough to be decent quality, but aren't so heavy that they risk moving as you move your head.

Sadly, I'm no longer a gamer, so can't vouch for them being comfortable for 12 hour+ weekend sessions. I've personally only used them for around 3 hours at a time, though I did find them very comfortable.For listening to music though, these are pretty great; the Bluetooth support means no need for cables and the battery life is as claimed.I've not extensively tested the microphone, but it seems fairly capable during Skype calls and sometimes picks up a little too much background noise for my liking.This may seem silly, but I was almost as impressed by the packaging as the product. Most headsets seem to come in a cardboard box with a bit of plastic around them and it doesn't seem like they would withstand a few knocks or drops in the post.

These are pretty expensive, so I'd buy with caution. So far I've been using it for my PC.They can be plugged in using USB, a jack or Bluetooth. All are straightforward enough (although I did have some driver problems with my Bluetooth adaptor, which were easy enough to sort).Physically, they are well made and solid but, and this is a biggish but. they're quite small, to the point I struggle to fit them over my head, even when fully extended.As far as general performance goes, they seem like a decent set of gaming headphones; they're kind of bass heavy, for sure, but that suits explosions and so forth. It works fine for listening to audio plays and the like, but don't expect great performance for music.

First use ouch.. base ridiculously heavy to point of pain.Installed A.P.P app for headphones but on new iPhone app crashes. Borrowed an old android tablet running old software and the app installed and run. Found sound great with EQ option set to off. Now a great set of headphones. That conveniently charge with a micro USB lead as used on most phones for now. For £9 a definite buy but you might need to borrow an android to change the EQ first.

...even on a laptop. Finding the small, earpieces uncomfortable then this was a good choice to listen to videos and music on my laptop while not getting tangled in wires. On loan to my gamer son who used it for both the X-Box and his PC games he found it good, even when speaking to friends on Skype.However it does seem pricey for a headset.

These headphones are hreat for the price! If your looking for a good set of headphones and don't want to pay alot these are one of serval you should buy. Brilliant sound, excellent battery life and great for gaming!
