I deliberated a little while before buying this item as it's difficult to know just how big these things are until you get them - but I decided to go for this one, based on their good name and a good price.Firstly, this is a very sturdy little bag; the tough material, the quality zips and the sturdy connecting clip and bracket all inspire confidence to put one's valuables inside. On first glance I was a little dubious about whether it would fit everything I wanted inside but I was pleasantly surprised to find that it happily accommodates my small binoculars, compact camera, phone and bunch of keys. Not only that but this is without unzipping the expandable section. Very impressive and it frees up my pockets, whilst allowing me to take the bins and camera on every trip. For larger loads, I found that the expandable section allows for easier packing of items inside - in fact it facilitates packing in any case, to have this section unzipped, then zip it up again to keep the contents securely together inside.Although there were no instructions included, fitting the bag was simplicity itself. Unfortunately one of the nuts on my example had a manufacturing fault and would not screw onto either of the bolts. Fortunately though, it was a standard sized nut and was easily replaced by a spare I had. The bracket fitted easily onto the standard saddle of my GT Mountain Bike and once clipped in provided a strong attachment to the bike. The front Velcro tab looked less secure but has so far proved just fine. Most of my riding is off-road on very bumpy tracks, up and down dale and the saddle bag has proved excellent in these conditions; remaining securely attached and keeping my valuables safe and sound in all conditions. All in all I cannot fault this item. It is small yet capacious, well made and strong and attaches sturdily to my bike. It was despatched promptly by "Parker's of Bolton" and although the postage was almost as much as the item itself, this seems to be the standard charge for this item and in any case I still feel I have a bargain in this great little bag and I highly recommend this excellent product

I bought this for the back of my bike to help hold a few essentials when we go cycling and it really is perfect.I had no problems fitting it to my seat and I reckon it would fit on both my girlfriend and sons bikes but all 3 saddles are similar in construction and have the metal supports for the back of the saddle that dont sit flush with the saddle (In other words they have the necessary gap between the seat and the support for the seat in which to bolt the clip in place). I would suggest that you check the underneath of the seat to see if there is a gap of more than a 1-2cm and that there is approx 10cm between the 2 supports and if there is the clip should bolt in place fine - however I amonly a purchaser making a suggestion and not the shop owner so I dont give any guarantees - (this is just a suggestion). As for the construction, I would rate it quite highly if taking the cost into account. The pack has 2 zips, one to open and one to expand the pack. I've found it holds a can of instant bike tyre repair foam, puncture repair kit, Glasses, gloves and room for more. When I've taken the glasses and gloves out it is possible to zip the expanding section shut and still leave the repair kit and foam in there. It would also hold a phone and other small items but I cant help thinking I'd rather not trust it with real valuables like keys, wallet and phone (not only because it would get wet/muddy in bad conditions).I would recommend it and will probably get one for my girlfriends bike as they are handy.

I needed a saddle pack to put the essentials in, I looked at the larger ones but decided that they would be too large and judging by the other reviews this one seemed to fit the bill.At just over a fiver this represents excellent value, I have managed to fit 2 inner tubes, a CO2 inflater, a spare CO2 cartridge, bike multitool and 2 tyre levers in with ease - and that is without using the expanding function. And there is still room for a bit more, such as mobile phone or wallet. The plastic used for the clip seems to be of the nylon kind so should hold up well to use, the fabric seems to be good quality and well stitched. It also has a loop to attach a rear light to.On my bike it clears the rear wheel by only about an inch, but that is more due to short legs so having to have the saddle set low!!All in all for the money you cant go wrong with this item and it was delivered quickly as well.

Well it arrived quickly and seems sturdy enough and should be big enough for my needs. As stated in other reviews there is know fitting instructions, but a quick look on the pictures on here of the bracket fitted on the bike was all that was required. I have a slim racing style seat and at first I thought no way it was going to fit. But after a bit of trying different ways it snapped into place and was all bolted up in total it took about 10 minuets from start to finishTo anyone else who has a problem fitting this, the way I did it was to put the bracket under the seat longways then turn it around and pull it backwards to the top of the seat so it fitted under the lining of the seat, then once it was against the 2 rear seat supports I pushed the bracket down the rails towards the stem, slipped the 2 nuts in place and the bolted the other bracket to it

...I can't help, it was the most simple job I can imagine! Granted there are no instructions, but there's a bracket for under the seat and a strap for the seatpost, what more do you need to know!Great bag, almost everything has been thought of. Elasticated loop for attaching a light, expanding design, quick release so you can take it with you. Fits a spare tube, small pump, multi tools, puncture repair kit, spare lights... If you want more in there than just spares and tools then you should opt for the bigger version, but this one suits me just fine.Don't over fill it or go crazy with weight, when it's expanded you realise just how thin the material is,but it will hold against normal use!Note; If you don't have much space between your seat and the back wheel... raise your seat! If this leaves your feet miles from the floor... your bike is too big!

I bought this for my Cube LTD SL and was impressed by the stability of it once fitted. The bag comes with a two part plastic clip that you bolt above and below the metal bars under your seat, once fitted it provides a solid catch that the bag clips onto (like the plastic catch on dog collars). At the rear of the bag is a piece of velcro tape that goes round the seat post, once the bag was fitted (two allen key bolts) I was impressed by the fact that it wouldn't move.My other half subsequentially decided she wanted this on her bike so I duley obliged and went and bought the Cube branded bag, roughly 5 / 6 times more expensive then this thinking that it will be even better, unfortuantly with the cube bag the fitment is a single strap under the seat bars and clips to the bottom of the bag. I should of just bought another one of these.

The bag is secured and supported by a quick release clip which attaches to the underside of the saddle. Although slightly fiddly, it is quite simple to attach within 5 minutes and should fit most if not all saddles. The clip is plastic but appears to be very strong and there is also a velcro strap which goes around the saddle post to provide additional security. The bag holds a lot, even without opening the extender zip. However, the capacity will be affected by the saddle height and whether there is a mudguard fitted. On my bike, the saddle is quite low and the bag rests on the mudguard, which is fine, but if my saddle were higher I would be able to open the extender. If your bike has no mudguard and the saddle is low the bag would rest on your wheel.

The item was as described. A good size, big enough to fit spare tube(700c), tyre levers, patches, multi tool, chain tool, water proof top, Iphone and keys. That was without using the expanding part.No instructions for fitting to seat, but non needed as it is pretty self explanatory, took 5 mins to fit. One tip though is to use a little tape over the nuts to keep them in place whilst you fix the clamp using the allen bolts.Looks ok on the bike(racer), not too big.Construction appears to be as good as higher priced bags. All in all i think it is a good bag made even better by the fact that it is so cheap. If you require a decent sized bag, look no further.

The pack is sturdy, because the top pane has stiff plastic inside the design keeps the pack in one place (although when expanded it will roll a little from side to side when pedaling, still better than its rivals). The pack is a decent size and I can keep 2x spare tubes, multi-tool, puncture kit, phone keys wallet and a bag of haribo if I need even before using the expansion zip.The one thing I don't like about this pack is the opening, although the pack will fit my rolled up cycle jacket (when in expansion mode) it is a real struggle as the opening is more of a slit, and you have to work hard to get something that large in or out of it.

I'm really impressed with this product for the price. It is big enough to store my mini pump, 2x inner tubes, multi-tool and puncture repair kit. This is without using the expansion zip.I personally wouldn't want to use the expansion zip as it looks a bit flimsy when extended and hangs a long way below the seat. But as said above the pack is plenty big enough for most people without extending.I was a bit clumsy fitting it the first time around and broke the plastic clip that holds the velcro around the seat post. But the service from the seller was top drawer and received a replacement unit in no time.Great product and service!

I bought this for my wife's bike, the fitting was easy but that's because I had the correct tools & a tool should be provided because it not the normal screw or allen Key. I don't know if it's the saddle or the bracket but I couldn't fit it right at the highest part of the saddle and I had to lower the mudguard down as far as I could for it to fit and not rest on the mudguard. She won't be able to use the extra panel at the bottom because there isn't enough room. The seat pack looks and feels good quality and has a lot of room, it hasn't been used yet so I can't say how long it will last.

What great wee bag! Ideal size for tools, phone etc and expandable part is large. Going to stuggle to find something big enough to put in it ! Easy fit. Attached within 10 minutes of delivery ( and im a girl with one of those brains that cant figue out how things normally work without a hundred step instruction book!). People complaining about not fitting but this would have fitted the three bikes easily in my house. Its currently attached to felt qx70 no problems at all and the elastic holders at bottom hold my combi lock. Excellent value for money.

This expanding saddle bag is very easy to fit to the saddle and would appear to universal so should fit onto most types of saddles. When opened up fully there is plenty of room for all sorts of bits and bobs. I have managed to store the small bike pump, front and rear LED lights, essential toolkit and puncture repair kit, cycling gloves and security chain. It is amazing how much can be fitted in and then if need be the expansion zip can be closed up making the saddle bag quite compact. All in all, great value for money.

I bought this because it was cheap and needed something to fit to my road bike to store tubes, inflator, tools etc.without sticking them in my pockets. This fits the bill. I gave it 4 stars only because (this might sound stupid!) I would have liked it to be shorter so it didn't stick out past the rear edge of my seat. It looks a bit odd in my eyes because of this but it is plenty big enough and feels sturdy so it is not a fault of the bag. Believe me it is big enough for my needs even in its un-expanded form.

Was almost put off by the negative reviews re fitting the bracket but could not have been easier - took me less than 5 mins. Was also surprised by the size of the bag, expanded it takes my: spare tube, multi-tool, puncture repair kit, wallet, phone and keys. My mini pump is slightly too long but there are some tight elastic straps on the bottom of the bag which keeps it secure and out of my back pocket. All in all, great product, excellent value - would definitely recommend!
