We all know of the early backlash from fans who bemoaned the fact that (for the very first time) a Nintendo system didn't launch with a Super Mario title. But those who took the time to appreciate Luigi's Mansion would realise that it's every bit as fun as the colourful yet deeply flawed Super Mario Sunshine. Not that they'd need much time to do so. Even if you go after all fifty Boos and the skipable side characters, you can easily beat the game in six or seven hours, but the incentive to suck up every stash of gold and gems to win the grandest mansion possible makes it worth replaying. (I only got a B grade first time around :(.)The control scheme is surprisingly good; it took a little while to get the hang of it,

This game is one that has a very niche audience, some people adore it, and others don't *get* it. I am one of those who adore it.The premise of the game, for the most part is fairly simple: Luigi has "won" a mansion and sets forth to claim it, upon entering the mansion he discovers that it was, in fact all a ruse and that Mario has (predictably) been kidnapped. Armed with this knowledge, Luigi begins his search for his brother.This is where most people will begin to not "get" the game. In essence, it is fairly simple: you travel around a mansion, busting ghosts with a vacuum called the "Poltergust 3000".The Mansion itself is split into 3 or 4 "areas",

The game came in physically good condition and played well. They even cleaned the disc nicely and the case and made it nice and smooth. Now moving on to the game itself it has its positives and negativesPositives- Good graphics- A lot of cool ghosts and bosses- A good storylineNegatives- The game is short and not as long as games like Mario kart or Super Mario sunshine.- To figure out puzzles is quite hard- Boos are annoying to capture as they move from room to room a lot.Overall the game is good and cool and I'm at the final boss and you can probably finish this in less than a week but the game is amazing! Bit expensive for what I paid for though.Review by Haydn

We have a 2012 Wii and there are no game controller ports and the Gamecube game discs won't work on it. Thought I would mention this, as there was nothing on any of the reviews to state that this game (and all the other Gamecube games) won't work on the latest models of Wii - from what I can gather, any models past the first couple of years don't allow this, so make sure you check to see if you have the ports available on your Wii before buying.Hope this helps! as I wish I had known before I bought it and had a very disappointed son, after playing this with his cousin on his earlier version of Wii....

This is a fantastic game that still plays as well today as it did when I first bought my gamecube, having never being re-released on the wii i decided to buy this and replay it. it still looks great on a large screen and is as funny and well thought out as the best mario games. I would recomend this game to anyone with a wii who never played it first time round.

Sadly the game wouldn't play on my son's system for some reason but the communication from the company and refund promptness was incredible!, I'd definitely buy from them again

Came about a day since bought it, in good conditions, but with a full sized DVD case, as longs the game fits and carries it, its all fine! Thanks for reviving my childhood!

The game is amazing although the delivery did kind of take forever... So I did have to wait for ages but hey it came in the end just at the very last day...

While Mario gets zillions of games to himself every year, it's not often that Luigi gets his own lead, unless you count the 1993 game

This product arrived on time and the game worked. Only issue was the case was a little scuffed but that was not a problem.
