This case holds a single small to medium size lens when closed (I *just* managed to fit in a Sigma 17-70mm f/2.8-4, ditto 100mm f/2.8 macro - but with the hoods still attached. A different version - the 200 AW - copes with larger lenses still). When opened, it concertinas out to allow access to two lens pockets, so you can place the one you've taken from your camera in one, grab the other to mount on your camera, then close it away again.I'm really pleased with this; it allowed my to quickly change lenses during a wedding ceremony without having to go back to my camera bags or find somewhere to put my camera down. I'm a concert photographer, so it's vital to have quick access to every single item of my equipment avoiding extra-weight. The final solution, even if wasn't the cheaper one: Lowepro belt and pouches.I got the Lowepro S&F Light Utility Belt, plus the Lowepro 55 AW S&F Quick Flex Pouch and the Lowepro 100 AW S&F Lens Exchange Case. The biggest surprise: after some practice I managed to combine movements with the Flipside 400AW I already had.This pouch in particular is great: two side pockets, compartments inside, easy to open (I don't see the double zipper very solid, maybe it's just my sensation) and rain cover.Don't hesitate: quality material and REALLY flexible to use and combine. How many times have you struggled to put one lens down while fitting another? This product from Lowepro is a superb solution to this problem. Comes in 2 sizes, and this review is for the smaller, the 100AW. It is a snug fit for my two main 'walk around' lenses; the Canon 24-105 F4L, and the Canon 16-35 F4L. Any lens of longer length, or greater width would not work so well. This will be my 'every day carry', when going walkabout with my camera, in locations and situations where there is no need to carry more equipment.

Earlier this year I switched to using mostly prime lenses and bought this as an aid to changing lenses which is really the only drawback of shooting primes. The case is well made (better than some of the recent Lowepro backpacks I have seen), and it has very good design, which issomething that has in my opinion been lacking from Lowepro lately. It does exactly what it's supposed to do and means I don't have to keep delving into my backpack for a lens, it really does make changing lenses more convenient.

I purchased this because I have a wedding to shoot and I know I will need to be able to swap lenses very quickly. This is a well made item which comes with its own shoulder strap so you don't need to purchase a utility belt unless you specifically want one. It is well made and performs well. You do have to be careful not to put a long telephoto lens in the outer pocket though. I have a 70-300 which is too long for the outer pocket but is ok in the inner one. Glad I got this.

The case is perfect for people like me that travel a lot with one body and two lens, the 24-70 and 70-200.I miss a bigger case where I can exchange lense with hood extended. The case is a bit short for the 24-70 L f2.8 and 70-200 L f2.8 with the hood attached in retracted position. Is perfect for who don't use hood in lenses, but I use all the time.At end, I'm satisfied.

Bought this on a lightning deal because measurements appeared to be big enough but turned out to be a tight fir or a Nikkon 80-400 Fx mount. It certainly doe not extend out far enough to hold a 28-300 lens unmounted from D750 while the 80-400 is still in it. But am keeping this Lowepro because it is stronger than the original Nikon case which came with the 80-400.

Lowepro S&F Lens Exchange Case 100 AW blackJust what I needed. Trying to minimize what I carry on holiday this doubles as carrier and exchange case.The belt option makes it more useful because you can carry it and another lens case with out any trouble. Camera and 3rd lens is easily carried on shoulder or across body.

Brilliant. I thought it was too big at first as I have fuji lenses but it allows me to swap lenses easily and hold some other small things in the side pockets. I tend to leave my bag lying around now rather than having to carry it with me. It's really worthwhile if you need to work and swap lenses quickly on the go.

With the long shoulder strap it's great while out and about to carry a second lens and help with changing over.Fits a Canon 70-200L f2.8 IS with hood and tripod ring /just/ in the outer pocket. Height is fine but the diameter of the hood makes it awfully snug. The 100-400L Mk II won't fit, for anyone interested.

Excellent Product! +++What can I say about Lowepro?The case has great build quality and it provides the safe you need for your lens amazingly.I can carry with 2 of those my 16-35 and 70-200 without worrying for anything.The exchanging lens is fast and safe also.Highly Recommended!

Perfect for carrying my extra lens with me so that I can have a 'fast exchange' rather that having to open my 'camera backpack' every time that a lens change is required.I can plan my day and achieve much better results - Thank you Lowepro.

Nice design makes lens changing a much safe activity. Usual Lowepro high quality finishing. Shoulder strap could do with a bit more padding when using with bigger L series Canon lenses. Otherwise a comfortable and practical case.

Great item, i no longer leave home without it whenever i have an event to cover. Saves me time changing lens and also alows me to make the swap without having to rely on setting my lens on the floor, table or other places.

This seems like a bizarre accessory to have but it has saved me so much time having to take bag on and off (or risking dropping lenses trying to save time) may have to buy another once my lens collection grows!
